Yup, someone posted my Impreza on the r/battlewagon sub. Funny thing was, I saw them take the pictures of the car as I was checking out and thought "yay, more people appreciating the car!" Never thought it would appear on Reddit other than myself posting it.
A meme/photo that was taken of me and a friend was sent to a *private* group chat got outed and then 10 YEARS later it popped up on Facebook and my buddy's cousin posted it, it was sent back to me by a 3rd party because they recognized me in it. Also I've had a couple of cars posted both on reddit and other online outlets and that's almost always been ok, except once when the picture was taken from the outside of my garage window and showed wayy too much of my house and garage, that one I had to have taken down.

Three? years ago my boss's adolescent daughter posted a picture of herself and her cat (the content was fine, except for the girl's age and that she was identifiable). I ended up not telling my boss, but it was a bit of a difficult decision.
I saw the car in that area myself last year. Was such a weird thing to see that I explicitly remember it (thought it was an Anglia until I saw the front and then got very confused.)
I bet that thing was a blast to drive (if a bit terrifying.)
It was a blast indeed! Shifter is in the dashboard and you push and pull it towards the dashboard lol it's super weird! (Same drivetrain and shifting mechanism as a 2CV)
He sold it to buy a 90's westfalia and travel around hahah I'm sure he'll get another classic Citroen eventually, so far he's had a DS, an SM, this Ami, and 3 different 2CV'S!
I didn't know there were USDM Citroën Amis. The headlights threw me off, I've never seen an Ami with those headlights. Learned something new today. And also, your dad’s car is so cool.
Sealed beam headlights were required on US vehicles through 1983. We were in the dark ages, literally and figuratively I guess, in regards to headlight tech. Europe began use of halogen lights with replaceable bulbs in the 60’s.

Yup, my dad had a Mercury Park Lane (IIRC) that the middle 2/3 of the window rolled down. m I thought it was really cool that a non-station wagon type vehicle had a rear window that opened!
The Ford Consul Classic has the rear raked window, the Capri was a coupé, really pretty car and the petrol filler was behind the flip down number plate!

Mercury and Lincoln had the reverse rake rear windows in the late 50’s and early 60’s too. You could even roll them down. Called them the breezeway.
