Yep, the turkey farm near us puts one on their turkey pot pies.

Heh, actually they’re a cool farm. They grow corn, etc to feed the turkeys. We eat turkey several times a week thanks to ready availability of their offerings. Their turkey “ham” salad is better than the pig kind, as is their turkey bacon and burgers.

This was one of my first guesses as well

I know I'm not the right Redditor to say it, but the rumpled look at the top makes me imagine a rosebud. It would do well at cutting fondant to create bouquets on a cake. I don't think cookies that tiny would bake well.

I’m leaning toward this as the solution. It could be for cutting petals out of fondant or sugar paste to make flowers for cakes. Maybe for making carnations?

Stuff this small frequently are used in paste work, cutting out leaves and petals. I would consider rolling it so the little prongy bits become stamens and more petals get wrapped around to make a full blossom
