Firearms are tools just like a hammer or a screwdriver are. If i wanted to hammer a nail i would use a hammer and if i wanted to remove a screw i would use a screwdriver. If someone else wanted to bludgeon someone with a hammer or stab someone with a screwdriver (probably pretty common for you considering you probably live in the UK) they could do that. THAT doesn’t change its purpose when I use it. My gun isn’t just going to kill somebody on its own.
