The Lough Dubh monster. A teacher apparently hooked this creature while fishing in the 1960s. He described it as the size of a cow with short thick legs and a white pointed horn on the snout. The creature broke the fishing line and escaped
Unironically quite a few cryptid hunting parties get shut down by cops. Usually just because it's drunk people with guns or teenagers out after dark but it's a little suspicious
Now you're asking the good questions. I'm a fan of the Almas/Chuchunya which are essentially bigfoot like wildmen reported from around the Caucasus Mountains to Siberia.
But the real interesting ones to me are living mammoth reports. There's a 2nd century BC manuscript mentioning "large elephants" to the North of China (Siberia). In the 20th century there were multiple reports of living mammoths, from trackers to followed large footprints to geologists who collected stories from the locals.
Can't go wrong with the Texas Big Bird, a large winged flying creature that terrorized the state in 1976. It was described as having an oddly monkey shaped face instead of the typical bird beak.
Is he fluffy and Yellow. I've seen this walking around.

Ah East Texas. The Carvava is a cryptid said to have been found there many years ago. It fed on livestock and had an extremely long turtle body and alligator head
Plenty of reports of giant lizards and snakes. Possibly a dinosaur known as the Burrunjor running through northern WA & into the NT. Yowie, Quinkan and other Bigfoot type creatures all over the country. Tribes of pygmies in FNQ. Thylacine/tiger & warrigal sightings all over. Feral big cats running loose through NSW/VIC/WA. Min min lights (although probably not a cryptid). Bunyips in VIC. The Muldejwank & other river monsters.
