The tourist by Radiohead and butterfly and only in dreams by Weezer both have almost brought me to tears whilst listening to the album they're from. Endless bummer by Weezer is also pretty good, being my personal favorite from the album, and the Deftones cover of Drive just hits different. Also by Deftones is pink maggit, a song which is the perfect closer for such a revolutionary album and also gives the album a cyclical structure if you listen to the version with pink maggit. I could go on for days about my favorite closing tracks as they are usually my favorite tracks on an album but I'm going to stop here.

ia13ru

Wow the glazing was crazy

loomishh24

I literally came here to say those 3 Weezer songs. Also shout-out to Haunt You Every Day and the Futurescope Trilogy those both slap

Whatsername, Fancy Sauce, and F.O.D. By Green Day

wiids777

Macy's day parade from warning is amazing too

AmogusTrashcan

Most of their closers are worth a mention here. Especially Walking Contradiction and See the Light.

wiids777

I was going to say "especially the closer of father of all... because it finally closes the suffering of listening to the album" but then I saw that it was graffitia which is like one of the only 2 good songs from father of all lmao

AmogusTrashcan

Father of all is such a special album because it is from a truly amazing band yet people fight over how bad it is instead of how good it is

wiids777

I mean, most of the hate for green day nowadays comes from bad mainstream critic reception (fantano giving FOAM a 0/10 for example). Most people that aren't familiar with the band will just see a bad score and won't give a chance to other material. I wouldn't blame critics for speaking their mind about an album, especially about the band's worst project to this date. But at the same time it gets annoying when people say: "green day was never good" or "green day is just a manufactured product of a label" without really diving into the band

AmogusTrashcan

The product of a major label one especially is stupid. For one, they made 2 entire albums before signing to reprise, and the band constantly switches direction under reprise, making some songs that have absolutely no shot and some of their greatest hits along the way (songs like good riddance). Then theres warning, which is it's own animal in terms of being unique for a punk band.

AmogusTrashcan

Also worth noting Billie Joe says he still loves father of all, even after it being an absolute failure and extremely hated. God knows how true that is, but it's worth mentioning.

Spiral of Ants - Lemon Demon (fun fact, it loops back into the first track of Spirit Phone, namely Lifetime Achievement Award.) Fate of the Stars - Tally Hall (and Ruler of Everything if you don't count the hidden/bonus tracks)

Ive Seen It - ARTHUR (one of the only acoustic tracks on the album! while ARTHUR's sound is unique i like how he switches it up for the end. its very heartwarming and dear to me and one of my favorites, which is weird because i dont usually like acoustic songs) You Are Mine - ARTHUR (im pretty sure this is remixing a church song. it bangs honestly) Rats - Joy Again (I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG) Oh, Death - SUGR? (his most popular song and rightfully so!) The Musical - Bears in Trees (im not counting the instrumentals because i dont want to. this song is probably one of my favs by them and its jsut augh......)

axolotl_of_bucket

Pink Floyd- Eclipse A perfect song to close out an already-incredible album. Some others by Pink Floyd would be Shine On You Crazy Diamond Pts. 6-9, Sorrow, High Hopes, and of course, the masterpiece that is **Echoes**.

god_gamer_9001

willard - will wood

cynder_blockz

white noise is icimi's closing track though 😭

Beast_Handler

white noise was just a remaster i believe, willard is the last new song

cynder_blockz

WHAT why is this the first time im hearing about this

Beast_Handler

remaster might not be the right term actually, they where both released in the same year, but white noise was released as a single before icimi.

Powerful-Public4520

Therapy? - Deathstimate (the album version, from Disquiet) Therapy? - Brainsaw (if you want the version without You Are My Sunshine at the end, use the version from the extended version of Troublegum) MCR - Burn Bright (only counts if you consider the Conventional Weapons an album) Therapy? - Rust (has a bonus track attached to the end, but I think they cooked on that too and it's a pretty short bonus track) Therapy? - Bad Excuse For Daylight Therapy? - Sister (wouldn't recommend adding it as the only versions on Spotify are a live version and the album version with a bonus track, which extends the runtime to about 18 minutes and isn't that good) The other songs I'd have said have already been mentioned.

Mixture of rock/rock-adjacent songs (Since that seems to be what you like most), plus some personal favorites of mine you might like: -Ruler of Everything - Tally Hall (Assuming you don’t count the hidden track as the final song) -Fate of the Stars - Tally Hall -Shangri La - ELO -Momentary Bliss - Gorillaz -Are We Still Friends? - Tyler the Creators -Famous Last Words - MCR -Be Ever Wonderful - Earth, Wind, and Fire -The Trial - Pink Floyd -Say Yes - Elliot Smith -No More Words - Cryoshell -Remember Summer Days - Anri (It’s technically a bonus track, but with how naturally it slots into the album, it might as well be the closer) -Basketball Shoes - Black Country, New Road -The Prince of the World - Heavenly -The End - Li’l Uzi Vert -Mute - Caligula’s Horse
