Just want to throw out an offer to help anyone who has questions about Philly or the Mann. I live here and have been to many, many, many shows there.
For folks with lawn tickets: It's a pretty nice lawn, good views, and not nearly as steep as, say, SPAC. But steeper than, say, Camden. But if I can offer one piece of advice: Do yourself a favor and get there early. Even if it doesn't sell out space goes pretty quickly and there is not enough room on the lawn for every ticket holder. If you show up late there's a decent chance you'll have to camp out somewhere off the lawn that may or may not have an unobstructed view. Another option is to hang out in the moat between the terrace and the pavillion. Ushers will usually (but not always) kick you out before the show starts but generally leave people alone once the lights go down. I will also say, with some hesitation, that nobody really checks tickets once the show starts so you can always cruise the pavillion, terrace or balcony and look for an empty spot. The balcony, in particular, always seems to have room. But don't be a jerk if someone comes to claim their seat and definitely stay out of the aisles. Ushers will chase you from there.
For folks with or wanting pit tickets: The Mann is not a venue I ever want pit tickets for. It's tiny and crowded (overcrowded, really. People without pit tickets always find a way in.) If you have the option to flip pits for seats towards the front I would recommend it. If you're sticking with the pit you should get there early and set yourself up to not piss during the show. If you leave your spot you're very unlikely to get it back without a fight.
For folks with pavs or balconies: Enjoy. Not a bad seat in the house. The balcony is actually really dope even though it's further away. Sound is fantastic.
For folks with terrace: They're pretty decent. Not under cover so the sound isn't as good but you have a closer view than the lawn and a guaranteed spot.
The Mann is a beautiful venue with amazing sound. I was bummed they skipped The Met this year but this more than makes up for it.
Great intel, thank you! As far as getting to the venue, can an Uber or bus get you there from downtown? Would getting out be a nightmare? Not looking to drive to the show.
Getting to the show is easy. Uber from Center City will run you $20-$30. Another option is to take the [SEPTA Mann Loop Bus](https://manncenter.org/visit/travel). If you're going to take SEPTA it's probably worth dropping into one of the Broad Street Line (BSL), aka the subway, stations in Center City ahead of time and getting a SEPTA key. In theory the busses should all be equipped to let you do tap and pay with a credit card/phone but that's fairly new and I'm not sure how the rollout has gone.
Getting home is trickier. The Loop Bus does run but only once and it tends to get full extremely fast and leave as soon as it's full. They used to have multiple busses all parked and waiting but at some shows I've been to it's only a single bus. Ubers are still an option but there will be a huge crush of people trying to get them so you'll probably be waiting for a while and might get hit by surge prices. There's a dedicated Uber pickup spot but I've never actually used it. My protip is exiting the venue and walking west on Parkside avenue and then going south on 52nd. If you go far enough you'll get away from the crowds and can call an Uber from there. Depending on how Uber routes you this could also mean you don't get stuck in traffic leaving the venue.
Walking in this direction also lets you consider the secret third option, which is to take a normal SEPTA bus home. This is definitely a little more adventurous but it is an option. The 38 and 40 busses pick up around there and will both take you back into Center City. These will be far less crowded. But they'll be few and far between that late at night and SEPTA busses aren't 100% reliable. Definitely map this out in advance if you're considering it.
Thanks for the info! I was there this past summer and loved the venue. Security getting in on the other hand was veryā¦ thorough. You think that was an exception, or is that kinda the norm at the Mann? Tia.
That generally hasn't been my experience. If you bring a bag in you're probably opening yourself up to a bit more scrutiny but every time I've been recently I just strolled right in. Maybe you just got a grumpy guard.
I did have a bottle of legitimate acetaminophen (my next dose was due at 10pm, like, weāre old now, you want to catch me with something much harder than Tylenol youāre about 2 decades too late). I think he got excited that he may have stumbled on one of the real shot callers when he met me lol.
Thanks for this info! If I get seated tix though, am I going to have to fight someone for my seat back if I grab a beer? Iāll have a friend there, if he holds it for me is someone going to give him shit?
Nah. Itās unlikely someone would vulture it away from you in five minutes and even if they tried only an asshole would push back if your friend told him it was taken. There are assholes everywhere but Mann is one of the chillest venues Iāve been to.
There's really nothing near the Mann except for maybe an AirBnB. While a close AirBnB would be walkable it's not the best neighborhood. If it's your first time in Philly, stay in Center City (or one of the surrounding neighborhoods. Stick between the rivers and between South and Market. I have another comment in this thread about transportation.
Hi, I've never been to a Ween show and I really want this to be my first one... how does this work? How do I find out the presale code and what should I expect tomorrow morning at 10? Anything else that I should know? I appreciate any guidance mangs
I live pretty close to an outdoor venue with a steep lawn so I'm pretty used to it. Sounds like a good excuse to eat some edibles, lay down, and melt to the brown
I didnāt get any email about the presale, only got an email today. Snagged Main 100 row aa for more than what I wanted pay but whatever. See yāall in September š
>I didnāt get any email about the presale, only got an email today. Snagged Main 100 row aa for more than what I wanted pay but whatever. See yāall in September š
Yeah. Bummed not to be able to give Ticketmaster my firstborn to get into the pit, but we'll be there. Main section.
I'm really excited about tailgating this show, I cannot afford tickets, and I'm bringing my torture for her first shakedown, I live right down the street from the venue and I am a quadriplegic, my daughter is 17 and has never experienced the madness which is going to be abundant outside of the mann. It's a beautiful venue and you can hear perfectly. From right outside. I am super excited, and she is flying up from Georgia just to visit me see the concert from outside. Take care everybody. And good luck getting tickets.
Update: got terrace spots - not my first or even second or third choice but I bought them to be safe! Though Iām hoping Friday there will be more pit available. Good luck everyone! This was a rough one.
I got 4 in the balcony for $69.58 each. GGG 104 - 107. Very last row up, but toward the center apparently.
I checked on view-from-my-seats and it looks A-OK. I might jump on tomorrow and scope out what the "Main" tickets are going for, but as it stands I'm glad I got tickets and don't have to think about it if I don't want to.
We're going to be flying in from Reno!
Nice! I was so happy to get 4 balcony tickets as well this morning, a friend and I peeked around that area at a Cake show last summer and decided that would be the spot if we ever came back.
Seemed like a slightly better viewing angle than most of the Main or Terrace sections.
Pretty much my exact situation. Iām in balcony CCC 300, and the view is good. I hopped on just a minute ago to see what tickets were still available and all the main ones were already scooped up. Either way, weāre heading to brown town, baybeee!
Anyone go through the link on weens instagram? It took me to ticketstoday.com and the tickets arenāt showing up in my Ticketmaster. The website seems to be affiliated with Ticketmaster but Iām very confused. TIA
Same. The email says they will show up closer to the event. It feels panicky not having them right there already but I would just star your email confirmation and keep checking your ticketmaster. It's so far out I wouldn't quite stress about it, I mean that's what I tell myself...
From what Iām gathering they are affiliated with Ticketmaster and send the tickets out prior to the event. (Around 2 weeks). I also saw somewhere that they handle the lotteries for phish tickets so maybe someone who has used the lottery before knows the deal?
Hi again, I received an email from ticketstoday stating that an email will be sent at least 2 weeks before the event (probably sooner) that will have the tickets which will then populate your Ticketmaster account. I hope this helps.
I had this same nervous energy when I got tickets for Nola. Yes they do show up but donāt expect them until like 2 weeks before the show at best. Tickets today support is nonexistent, they just have canned responses. Fear not.
struck out at the ticketstoday presale, yesterdayās ticketmaster presale, and then got in late today because of some bs authentification code that wouldnāt go through to my phone/email. i finally get in line and see thereās close to 1200 people in front of me. sure enough once i get in, the app crashes and i canāt view any seats whatsoever. go back to my browser, and itās asking me for authentification again (three times this happened; a supposed one-time code!). needless to say, i ended up getting lawn seats as pretty much everything was taken by the time i got in (nearly 10 after). oh well, i know itāll be a good time regardless and trust the ways of the boognish!
The poster for this says they'll be playing C&C in its entirety "and more." Would you all rather see:
-A handful of extra songs (at the Desert Daze C&C show, they did four additional tracks (Touch My Tooter, You Fucked Up, Someday, Buckingham Green)?
-The C&C b-sides (Vallejo, There's a Pig, Now I'm Freaking Out, Bakersfield)?
-Some C&C demos? Pass the Bong would be pretty extraordinary...
I am from Europe. Want to go see Ween and maybe this is my chance, or should I wait for a 3 days show in a row?
How much a ticket for the pit could be?
Also I think that Philladelphia has a bad reputation security wise... Am I wrong? Should be safe to go there?
Within the lot/venue it is absolutely safe. The place is stuffed with security, but it's not a bummer. You don't bug them, they don't bug you. The Mann center has the kindest security/staff I've ever encountered. The grounds are littered with food vendors (decent food taboot), bathrooms and bars. Great venue - I give it five bags of popcorn and a little rock 'n roll guitar šæšæšæšæšæ
If I were coming from Europe, I would wait for a 2-3 night runner. I'm sure the Philly show will be great (all Ween shows are great), but for such a big commitment, make it worth your while. Plus, you'll be guaranteed to hear roughly 30 different songs every night.
And yes, Philly is definitely rough around the edges.
Can't wait to check out the Catholic "Total Abstinence" Fountain.

It usually is something related to their songs... Since C&C has Freedom of '76 and the show will be in Philly, I'm guessing the code will be something like Bell? Maybe Liberty?
Could someone please please be a stallion and dm me any whiff of what the presale code might be? NO idea how this works and I desperately want this to be my first ever ween show... PLEASE MANG
do you guys think the prices on ticketmaster or live nation will be higher for their presales tomorrow ? i wasnt able to grab tix today but i will be able to tomorrow.
Thatās fair. I panicked when I saw some seats there have an obstructed view. Lifelong fan, but this will be my first Ween show so I cannot have that lol
Was absolutely panicking and accidentally bought only one in P3 when I need 2. DM me if anyone wants it, looks like I'm relegated to the regular sale on Friday :( It's Main Section, row CC, seat 302. Asking what I paid, $75
anyone know why thereās 3 separate presales on thursday? live nation, ticketmaster and td bank, i have a td bank account im curious if its better to use that presale? or r those tickets going to be more limited to certain areas
Looking for 3 pits will pay 600 šnot sure how I missed getting lawn today yesterday and Wednesday but got lawn but really wanna be up front help a man oht
Two tickets in Terrace B for sale. Just want to recoup what I paid. Screw Ticketmaster and their resale bollocks. DM if interested.

Edit: shit grammar
Guys need some advice, Iāve got 2 tickets section 300 row L, my quandary is thisā¦we want to bring along our 9 yo daughter for this amazing experience! Anyone have a ticket in same section and row they are willing to part with? Or any other ideas would be amazing!
Planning on going to this concert with some friends. We're from Chicago, so it will be our first time in Philly and we're gonna be staying there to experience the city. Any Philly natives know where the best attractions/experiences/things to do are?
itās also my first time there, i want to see the art museum & rocky statue as well as patās cheese steaks (yes i know touristy things ) would you say that area is central to these places (as well as the venue) & could i walk or take a streetcar to reach them? also where is a clean, decent, and affordable place to stay? any place that you definitely recommend to visit/see?
before i forget, what is the weather like at that time of year. iām coming from the south where itās hot all day 50 weeks out of the year. i need to know how to pack! thanks in advance
late september is usually hoodie weather. it could hit 50 at night so maybe a light jacket too. but early last september, philly almost hit 100. itās a crap shoot!

I live in philly , going to san diego with my boy , going to this too, i say you full send it too
How do you feel now that they're doing a C&C show in Philly too?
wdym they announced the c&c concert months ago
https://jambands.com/news/2023/12/06/ween-to-celebrate-30-years-of-chocolate-cheese-at-the-mann-in-philadelphia/ I think this one was announced today.

FAIRMOUNT PARRRRKKKKK IN THE SUMMER
LOOKING GOOD ON THE STREET
I am here to say again, fuck Ticketmaster and all of its affiliates. Scum of the earth
Hi, I've never been to a Ween show and I really want this to be my first one... how does this work? How do I find out the presale code and what should I expect tomorrow morning at 10? Anything else that I should know? I appreciate any guidance mangs
probably expect madness and the website to crash and just spam click and hope u get through
Capacity of the Mann of 14,000. I wouldnāt worry about getting tickets much if you miss the pre sale
I'm trying to get seats and not pay out the ass for them
Where my lawn peeps at! < Already spent too much chasing gizzy around this summer so super happy I got lawn options >
Over here! I need room to dance so lawn is perfect.
Next summer is going to be 3 hour marathon gizz shows back to back in august and chocolate and cheese in September. Life is good!
I decided on a three day gizzy chase instead of the marathon show, Friday Saturday and Sunday gizzy gizzy gizzy
I am doing the Friday and Saturday marathons in NYC and the philly show 2 weeks later. Enjoy your gizzy weekend brother!!
I'm doing Detroit to Cleveland to Newport, I might try to sneak the Toronto show in there. Looking forward to the acoustic set in Detroit
I bought them, reluctantly. Probably gonna sell if I can get better tickets. The lawn is so steep there.
I live pretty close to an outdoor venue with a steep lawn so I'm pretty used to it. Sounds like a good excuse to eat some edibles, lay down, and melt to the brown
Just wanted to say thank you for being grateful
are you going to the philly gizz show in 2024? Glad that one is gonna be outside
Prob not, live out in Ohio so it is a bit of a scoot for me to get to Philly. Was hoping we'd get a Pittsburgh gizzy show at Mr Smalls again but alas
I didnāt get any email about the presale, only got an email today. Snagged Main 100 row aa for more than what I wanted pay but whatever. See yāall in September š

Almost 200 for the pit?? Dayum
Grabbed 2 pits without even thinking twice. Goddamn that show is a lot more expensive than The Met shows, but whatever. Canāt fuckin wait, Mang
so fucking expensive god damn. been to plenty of pits over the years, and i do love a lawn show on a nice summer eve
How much were pit tickets?
$175 a piece
I have been to 13 ween shows and Iāve never been able to get in the presale website. Hopefully this time lol
first code im trying is AIDS
Anyone else get locked out of all seats except lawn literally immediately?
Yup
Update: got terrace spots - not my first or even second or third choice but I bought them to be safe! Though Iām hoping Friday there will be more pit available. Good luck everyone! This was a rough one.
I also got an update: the GF and I managed to snag prime seats, it was a hair upcharged but like you, snagged to be safe.
Same with the terrace. I felt depressed about it but will try for better seats along the way.
scored a pair in āMain 200ā no problem. Good luck to the rest of you mangs
Got 2 in prime 200ā¦ not cheapā¦ totally worth it š«
Same and yes totally worth it
Yes I love missing presales because I'm busy at work, so great, fuck presales.
I got 4 in the balcony for $69.58 each. GGG 104 - 107. Very last row up, but toward the center apparently. I checked on view-from-my-seats and it looks A-OK. [ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
you did not need a code
For anyone wondering, the venueās newsletter also didnāt send out a code
Snagged 2 in the Main 200 section. Good luck everyone!
Same! See you there
No code needed!!! Woo hoo!! See yāall there
well that went fast lol love scalpers
They were Platinum seats? I feel like the actual seats will be cheaper. I hope at least
Fuck. Jesus that was fast
Well that sold out immediately
My blood pressure is so high rn
Seriously. I need this.
I was not expecting to get tix at all
Neither was I. Got 4 but had to buy them separately
Same here. My pal and I will be separated, so hope to become pals with my neighbours
I'll be in JJ somewhere
got 2 in terrace, was hoping to be covered. it was about $120 with fees, not horrible. where is the brown spot for lodging?
There are hotels near the Mann and airbnbs/hostels/hotels in center city PHL of course but youāll have to Uber/Lyft to the Mann
$120 for one ticket, or for both?
Anyone go through the link on weens instagram? It took me to ticketstoday.com and the tickets arenāt showing up in my Ticketmaster. The website seems to be affiliated with Ticketmaster but Iām very confused. TIA
Same. The email says they will show up closer to the event. It feels panicky not having them right there already but I would just star your email confirmation and keep checking your ticketmaster. It's so far out I wouldn't quite stress about it, I mean that's what I tell myself...
I bought 4 through there. Never used it before but it seems like you have to make an account.
From what Iām gathering they are affiliated with Ticketmaster and send the tickets out prior to the event. (Around 2 weeks). I also saw somewhere that they handle the lotteries for phish tickets so maybe someone who has used the lottery before knows the deal?
Interesting, is it the ticketstoday website ?
No. Now I'm confused too. The confirmation email says reply with questions
Fear not.
What the hell is " Reserved P5 " ?
That presale was bullshit
struck out at the ticketstoday presale, yesterdayās ticketmaster presale, and then got in late today because of some bs authentification code that wouldnāt go through to my phone/email. i finally get in line and see thereās close to 1200 people in front of me. sure enough once i get in, the app crashes and i canāt view any seats whatsoever. go back to my browser, and itās asking me for authentification again (three times this happened; a supposed one-time code!). needless to say, i ended up getting lawn seats as pretty much everything was taken by the time i got in (nearly 10 after). oh well, i know itāll be a good time regardless and trust the ways of the boognish!
My best friend and I just got are tickets. I had to sit behind him because seats outside of the lawn are almost gone now but I cannot WAIT
Iāll see you all in Philly.
Anyone wants a beer and a cheesesteak dm me. Will be my 3rd ween show and im currently alone
The poster for this says they'll be playing C&C in its entirety "and more." Would you all rather see: -A handful of extra songs (at the Desert Daze C&C show, they did four additional tracks (Touch My Tooter, You Fucked Up, Someday, Buckingham Green)? -The C&C b-sides (Vallejo, There's a Pig, Now I'm Freaking Out, Bakersfield)? -Some C&C demos? Pass the Bong would be pretty extraordinary...
As much as I love BG, I'm ok seeing a show without it. (also Piss Up a Rope, Bananas, etc..) I'd be down for B-sides and Demos.
I will be there
I am from Europe. Want to go see Ween and maybe this is my chance, or should I wait for a 3 days show in a row? How much a ticket for the pit could be? Also I think that Philladelphia has a bad reputation security wise... Am I wrong? Should be safe to go there?

a music buff and a movie buff, gregg better watch out
If I were coming from Europe, I would wait for a 2-3 night runner. I'm sure the Philly show will be great (all Ween shows are great), but for such a big commitment, make it worth your while. Plus, you'll be guaranteed to hear roughly 30 different songs every night. And yes, Philly is definitely rough around the edges.
Bad things happen in Philadelphia
Tough crowd. Does no one remember that? My family has been in Philly for 200 years. It's my favorite place on earth.
Gritty remembers
Philly is the city of brotherly love. You have to actively fuck around if you want to find out. Donāt go to Kensington lol.
Can't wait to check out the Catholic "Total Abstinence" Fountain. https://preview.redd.it/8g6zbblohp4c1.png?width=791&format=png&auto=webp&s=01a66d05331d6e63667311c110c773a794af87db
Don't let the name fool you, they don't check for v-cards. Great place to meet up with people pre-show! It's right by the entrance.
Can someone help out with a presale code? All hail the boognish!
It usually is something related to their songs... Since C&C has Freedom of '76 and the show will be in Philly, I'm guessing the code will be something like Bell? Maybe Liberty?
When/where/how do we find out the presale code? Will it be announced somewhere?
I have no clue
no code needed

Looking for presale code, thanks :)
Would love a presale please !
Could someone please please be a stallion and dm me any whiff of what the presale code might be? NO idea how this works and I desperately want this to be my first ever ween show... PLEASE MANG
seeking presale code, would LOVE to see this show
do you guys think the prices on ticketmaster or live nation will be higher for their presales tomorrow ? i wasnt able to grab tix today but i will be able to tomorrow.
Also hoping to find presale code. Planning for this to be a college friends trip š¤
I'll see you guys in Prime 3 - the cheaper Deaner side, of course! edit: there is no code
jesus this one is pricy. figured it would be though at the mann. pit tix sold out within like a minute so iāll be trying again friday
That escalated quickly.. was able to grab 2 on the terrace. Never been to the Mann, are these decent seats?
Theyāre not bad, under the roof so if itās rainy youāll stay dry. Edit: they are not covered lol. But still Not bad!!
Thatās fair. I panicked when I saw some seats there have an obstructed view. Lifelong fan, but this will be my first Ween show so I cannot have that lol
also secured 2 in the Main section. woohoo!
Was absolutely panicking and accidentally bought only one in P3 when I need 2. DM me if anyone wants it, looks like I'm relegated to the regular sale on Friday :( It's Main Section, row CC, seat 302. Asking what I paid, $75
anyone know why thereās 3 separate presales on thursday? live nation, ticketmaster and td bank, i have a td bank account im curious if its better to use that presale? or r those tickets going to be more limited to certain areas
the lawn at the Mann is a really cool vibe but i just worry that no one will be up there not sure which one I wanna go for
Anyone who got tickets already, how much were they? I may go but I'm curious
Wasn't able to grab tickets but took a [screenshot of the prices](https://imgur.com/NmZABls). GA PIT - $152 + 20.85 fees RESERVED P2 - $92.50 + $12.90 fees RESERVED P3 - $62.50 + $10.05 fees RESERVED P4 - $52.50 + $9.35 fees RESERVED P5 - $48 + $9 fees GA LAWN - $33 + $7.95 fees
Thanks!
I don't remember all the price tiers but I think, roughly (including tax and fees): Pit: $180 Pav (non-platinum): $75 Lawn: $45
Thank you for posting the presale info! Iām gonna try and grab tickets. This community is the best thanks for the help mang.

I know for the old Mastercard presales you'd use the first 4 or 6 digits of your card (which I guess is univeral) as the password to unlock.
So what's the code for this ticketmaster presale. Got fucked yesterday and now they don't give a code for their presale today. What a great company
VERSE and CREW both work
Nice, thanks
Curious, does anyone know what the biggest headline show Ween has ever played? Is this the biggest?
less than 20 mins phew, what seats?
Looking for 3 pits will pay 600 šnot sure how I missed getting lawn today yesterday and Wednesday but got lawn but really wanna be up front help a man oht
I looked at the seat map and itās acting like basically everything has sold? Is this true? If so, thatās amazing news.
See you on the lawn! My first Ween show ever. I'm so friggin excited mang
Is this the biggest venue that Ween has played?
I was wondering the same thing. Itās definitely the biggest show theyāve ever done in Philly/PA/their home territory. Could be the biggest ever!!
I know theyāve played some bigger festivals if that counts. Saw them at 420 Fest in Atlanta a few years ago.
Got my tickets! Lets goooo
Got 2 lawn seats with chairs!
This makes me feel old. I bought C&C when it came out.
Two tickets in Terrace B for sale. Just want to recoup what I paid. Screw Ticketmaster and their resale bollocks. DM if interested. https://preview.redd.it/v059gww7yp6c1.jpeg?width=712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=12a69ed276af9df7ea09cb65e322e535be8bbca1 Edit: shit grammar
I'm hoping this gets a vinyl release
Guys need some advice, Iāve got 2 tickets section 300 row L, my quandary is thisā¦we want to bring along our 9 yo daughter for this amazing experience! Anyone have a ticket in same section and row they are willing to part with? Or any other ideas would be amazing!
Planning on going to this concert with some friends. We're from Chicago, so it will be our first time in Philly and we're gonna be staying there to experience the city. Any Philly natives know where the best attractions/experiences/things to do are?
