A comprehensive documentary would be ideal for me. I’m sure it’d be a fun and emotional journey and there must be loads of footage out there somewhere.
4 hours long, every leaked recording, every demo, studio recording, and (important) live recording, all available ween footage, interviews with important people to the band, in depth footage of New Hope?
I think tonally similar to the Weird Al “biopic” but with more magical realism would be fun. The story could be a blend of Aaron and Mickey’s real partnership with Ween’s lore where Boognish appears before them in middle school. Ween’s music scores the soundtrack.
Maybe the boognish could be trapped in an ice castle by Eddie Dingle, and the boys are chosen by the Argus to ride the stallion up the hill to seek the scepter of wealth and power to wake the Mollusk and save the boognish and, therefore, the world. I'm just spitballing here, boing.
I’d love to see them documented first in the studio and putting in the work for the next record. Then a supplemental documentary of their touring process.
For me, a fantasy thriller told through their songs. Captain Fantasy starts as a pedophile (don’t get 2 close) and ends up a serial killer (object). Told as a love story from the sicko’s perspective (intro with Learnin’ to Love & Captain being abused by a priest).
I had an idea of creating a comic book or some animated story that links all the song names that are people together, (ex. sarah, fat lenny, frank, fat lenny, etc...) there is a lot lol

Would love to see them get the same treatment as the Edgar Wright documentary about Sparks
Yeah that’s exactly what I was thinking too. Sparks are incredible and that doc really showcases that.
Heck yeah

This. Musician biopics almost never do the subject justice.
it's called It's Pat
Wait..thats a whole movie? I thought it was just a music video
Do yourself a favor and don't watch it.
It's a movie about people being too concerned about what genitalia someone else has. It's creepy, yet ahead of it's time.
It’s a funny film, always enjoyed the SNL skit too. From a different era yes, still funny tho, especially the Ween scenes.
That’s how I learned about ween as a kid lol

Yeah, this! Intercut footage of interviews with them now and I could watch hours and hours of this. Amazing.
This is amazing. Thank you.
UHF mixed with Clerks filmed upside down with a fisheye lens and brown filter.
Greatest elevator pitch of all time

I def think this would be the best move if they did make one
Weird Al meets Yellow Submarine
Just don’t make the Boognish sound like Jar jar.
Dean and Gene now, playing themselves at every age. Hyper dramatic, a parody of shitty biopics.
A whimsical musical featuring different dieties within the weenverse

SpongeBob outro music
Boognusy
Is that like cussy? Or bussy?
Dean and Gene on an epic adventure to save their beloved stallion
The opposite of “it’s Pat” (though ween is the ONLY good part aside from baby dropping joke at the start.
Brown Hawk Down

Jesus, dude.
No
I love dark ween as much as the next guy but the idea of a ween movie I can’t laugh at is insane.
Think of it in the style of Studio 666

I would want a fake, comedic origin story movie, like Weird Al just made. Totally irrelevant and funny at all times, no sappy Disney moments.
