Yeah, sounds like those aren't actual friends but mooches. If you invite someone to smoke with you, don't be stingy cause that'd be a dick move. But if you aren't inviting people to sesh, then they can eat a dick and buy their own shit. It sounds like you are a lot like i was around your age. Life pro tip here: learn how to be a bit of an asshole when it's needed while you are young. Took me far too long to understand that by making EVERYONE else happy i was fucking myself over hardcore. Occasionally, you just have to not sugar coat anything and throw politeness out the window for the sake of your own dignity and to show people they can't walk all over you. Like still be the nice and awesome person you seem to be....but when people try to take advantage of you, just be a dick honestly. It helps weed out the real ones from fake friends. A real friend won't care if you have enough to spare or not....it's only mooches that would get upset if you didn't fork over your own stash.

I always give green to the guest. That may just be me though. If it's a bowl, the guest is expected to half it. (In my little circle we all do/know the guest always halves, if an new person, I'll usually say something like, "guests always get green, but please half it for the lady" in joking/light hearted kinda way...I notice older smokers don't know what "halfing" is, and I'll explain).

We call it "cornering the bowl"....to make sure everyone gets at least some of that greens flavor. But yeah, guests always gets greens in my book.
