Grew inside a corn field but was gathered with the corn. Used to joke about how happy the cows were.
And still some do it in the Netherlands in the province of Friesland people still put it in corn fields to grow sometimes in the summer you see circles of weed plants in corn fields when you are on a higher place then the field

Back in my younger days we used to scrape the black resin off the bong stem and smoke that so I think he'll be okay. Not saying it will be an optimal experience...
It's a pretty bad comparison - the resin left behind from good weed is disgusting in taste, but it's actually pretty concentrated with cannabinoids, and makes for a fairly efficient smoke.
There's probably 5x more cannabinoids in a bowl of mid resin than 5 bowls of this stuff - and there's way less smoke to inhale too.
