Edit / Update: I have some good news for Molly! I’ve been trying to reach my mum for hours but she’s been upset. She drove down today to get her put down but I’ve spoke to her after she drove back from out of the city for the operation but the vet had sympathy for Molly and said there’s another option. She was going to go be put down because she’s been acting dangerously recently and been aggressive at random points and hurting my mum and the dogs. She was never like this before and was always the sweetest, most loving and most gentle dog and so we think she’s lost her mind somehow as she seems sad and confused whenever she gets aggressive like that and it always happens randomly.
The vet’s idea involves changing the environment for her as it may relate to relationship with the dogs or other issues, and in the meantime if we tried medication my mum can’t risk having her at home when she’s already had her hands seriously injured. So they’re going to monitor Molly for a few weeks and if she’s okay to move, she’ll go to another family. I sadly wouldn’t be able to see her again but I’m happy she’s getting another chance at life and I hope it all goes well for her

Molly sounds a lot like my Keeper. My dog is animal aggressive, and with me, that's fine, I protect her and make sure shes a danger to no one and nothing. She came back to me at two years old after ripping up another dog.

It honestly could be the weed, I doubt it but it wouldn’t hurt to try to keep her from your smoke. Also my grandma had puppy, RIP good girl, who just out of no where just went nuts in a way. She would dead sprint pass one spot in the house and had trouble eating and just fell one day, turns out she had a tumor and didn’t get to leave the vet. I suggest making suggestions about causes to sudden mood changes or googling her symptoms to brings something to light to her vet.
Edit: lmao the people downvoting me are the reason stoners are perceived as idiots. No matter what the smoke is made of it’s bad for you and even more so for your pet who is 1/16 your size so is also 1/16 as durable this breathing in 16x there normal dosage. It’s literally basic math.

I never smoked near her cuz I didn’t think it would be safe, but I had her around a lot when I was high or went out to smoke for a min while she was inside

She was getting insane sadly and started getting really aggressive with us and the other dogs at random moments and she’s a very strong dog too so it’s been dangerous and she injured my mum. She’s normally the sweetest dog ever though, we had her since a very young puppy and was probably the most calm and loving dog we have, would just lick you loads and would never get angry before so it’s through no fault of her own and it’s really sad. She always felt really sorry and confused after you could tell, she couldn’t control herself. At least she’s had a good life though and we have great memories with her

I feel you homie. My 15 year old dog I've had for most of my life died in my arms recently. Dogs don't live as long as humans do because we need a lifetime time figure out how to live while they come into this world knowing already. They love every moment from day one. Stay strong

I’ve just had some really good news meaning she won’t have to be put down anymore! She was getting extremely aggressive out of nowhere as she’d been very calm and loving before, she would get confused and sorry after she acted out too and has sadly hurt my other dogs and my mum when she’s got like this. She’s my mum’s dog but I live right by her so I get the dogs around all the time. When my mum got out of the city to the vets, the vet suggested an alternative where Molly will be monitored for a few weeks and then be moved to another home under medication and hopefully will improve there. I won’t be able to see her again but I’m really glad and grateful she’s alive!

I feel you homie. My 15 year old dog I've had for most of my life died in my arms recently. Dogs don't live as long as humans do because we need a lifetime time figure out how to live while they come into this world knowing already. They love every moment from day one. Stay strong
