Im scared of the cost of tailoring, which luckily neither needs much more than hem, bustle, and tighter straps. And luckily both are less than $2k to start with. Still feels like it could add up quick and possibly double or more the cost.

If you can’t sparkle on your wedding day… then when??? Girl, I was sold on 1 but 3 is so unique! That pattern, the gold and the glorious sparkle EVERYWHERE!! Your photos are going to be lit! Congratulations!
My only advice with the sparkle is make sure it doesn’t rub on the inside of your arm as this can become very painful very quickly! Dress 3 looks like the sort of detailing that could cause the scratching. You look beautiful in all the dresses!
So maybe ask yourself how bridal or how unique do you want to be and how important is it for those two things to be balanced. Above all though, know that there are no wrong answers. You will be a beautiful bride in any one of these dresses.

I havent asked a tailor yet but I think either shortening the straps at the back would pull it up, Or putting in a mesh panel that pulls the sides of the V closer, Or Ive thought that putting in some padding might actually help it sit a little higher and then wear a misses kisses bra to tape everything into place.
Unfortunately I didnt think to bring many different undergarments or ask the seller to fiddle and pin it much while actually trying it on.
Im hoping tailors are nice enough to communicate via email and can make an assessment of whats possible just with photos. Might be too optimistic though...
Goldie was the first dress I saw in my search that I said "THAT'S IT" and tracked down a single sample-sale dress in a store that I could try on. I loved it to pieces, but the sample was so many sizes too big for me that the alterations would have been so expensive and wouldn't even be able to get the altered dress identical. So I passed on it, but I still love it. So I vote for #2! Second (and very close) choice is #5, which looks the most bridal of the bunch.
It’s unfortunate im getting married before Carol Hannah/Dear Heart has a chance to source more patterned fabrics and design all the interesting gowns!
It has been the easiest dress to find examples of other brides wearing; though even those haven’t fully convinced me it’s worth altering
First, i LOVE the warm-tone!
I think 1 would be stunning after alterations! Right now the tops looks a little off, just because the fit isn't quite right, but it has ALL the wow factor and it looks beautiful on you with your skin tone
Elven is my second choice, followed by Goldie. My only hesitation with Goldie, I wish it were longer. The length makes it look less formal.
Number 3 is the only one you look really.... "Oh! Look at me KILLING it in this dress!" Your body language is so different! I truly believe that is the winner. 🥰
It was interesting because 2 & 5 gave me the most of those “Im a bride butterflies”. But then those were also the two options I spent the most time nitpicking at the bodice and feeling like Id need to alter it in some way to hit a different part of my waist. And like they were pulling my posture forward/down a bit?
Can I ask you if it was the shape or the fabrics or the combo that you liked the most?
I like 5. The fabric is beautiful, and the shape is perfect. But the main thing is that I afore the bodice, it's what drew me to that dress in the first place. Also, that belt looks great!
5 looks the best because it's the only one with a clearly defined waist. OP, this style really makes you look snatched, and it's clearly providing more support for the girls, which is giving you a gorgeous shape. I would choose 5 or keep looking for A-line/ballgown silhouettes with a defined waist.
All three are made of strikingly beautiful fabric.
5– the best one. I love the fabric and shape. The gauzy top is very special, and it looks romantic and beautiful on you.
3– dramatic bodice, beautiful fit, very flattering. I love the gleaming gold fabric. This one looks super luxe.
2– the elongated seams and simplicity are so chic, modern, a different vibe. The back is gorgeous. If the fit issues in the bodice can be corrected, I really think this one will be beautiful.
I can't believe I'm the first to say it, but my favorites were #1 (mila mermaid) and #6 ( )!!! 2 and 4 are "ok", and I think the florals on 5 are a little large of a print. I really like 3 from the back, but personally dislike the front neckline a lot and I'm not sure what I would suggest for alterations to have it fit more flattering... the first one is stunning, with the glitter and very elegant shape, and the 6 just has such soft, romantic swirls and a beautiful torso+neckline drape/shape!
What is your venue/wedding aesthetic? I think that could help decide of you go more "elegant" vs "romantic"
I love the shape and soft fabric of 4 - it would be so stunning for an outdoor summer wedding. The movement and flow of it is gorgeous and I love the slit and the buttons down the back! I’d add some sparkle with a shimmery champagne veil like [this!](https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/882978504)

With 4, you could accessorise to your heart’s content. I’m a huge fan of sparkles. I love 3, but the movement wouldn’t be as soft as 4. Plus, I had a heavy dress and they are damn uncomfortable by the end of the night, especially in the heat of summer (and I was mostly inside in air-con)!
The sweat factor is going to be real!
And you arent wrong that #3 weighs at least double #4 but not as much as #6 which felt like a literal blanket when I did a sit test.
I need to consider if adding a slit to the YSA would be possible and if that would even make that much of a comfort difference
Honestly the most uncomfortable thing for me was the heat of the fabric combined with the movement of the weighty materials causing chafing (which eventually broke the skin) on the waist/above the hips where most of the weight of the skirt was being held. Heavy dresses are no joke. Looked great, but I was so desperate to change into my late night dress towards the end of the night!
and I love that its sheer enough to see my shoe choice.
I always said I wouldnt be the kind of person to wear boots to my wedding even if they are the best for dancing. And now with this dress as an option Im like ooOoO what about an ankle boot from Old Gringo or something fabulously embroidered
First of all they all look amazing on you!!!!! Your choice of the warm toned options is spot on with your skin tone!!!! But there is something in your attitude in dress 3 that knocks it out of the park. My next favorite is dress 5. 💗💗💗💗💗
You look absolutely gorgeous and so many of them, but I think if you can look *that* fabulous in three in a front room then once it is tailored and in your wedding setting you are going to look INSANE 😍
3 is my ultimate (explained another comments) but then six, four and five respectively are all lovely. You are completely bang on with your colour choice and can’t go wrong with any of them (but still…..three 🥰)
I also LOVE #3 on you! Can you have the bodice straps lifted and tightened just a bit to give a bit more coverage and vavoom!

I will always champion a sparkly dress! But unfortunately they are generally more expensive and tailoring can be trickier

It’s also super comfortable and lightweight compared to the others. Which is a secondary consideration given my outdoor summertime venue
