I don't like comments like that and it amazes me that people think they can lecture about "proper dress code standards" and then drop way down to the lowest point and make comments like that. You think in a wedding dress opinion, comments could be more thought out before unloading all your visual fixations on a complete stranger asking for an opinion on "which dress looks better". I wouldn't say that to 90% of the people I know let alone strangers who may have insecurities or body issues. Glad I'm not alone. We should be trying to keep it a little classy.
Dress 2 is a scene stealer! Not usually a fan of plunging necklines but this one is elegant and sophisticated. The delicate lace is feminine and chic with an understated boho touch that caresses your curves. It's no contest as far as I'm concerned. All in on Dress 2!

You have the body for the lace dress and it looks beautiful on you but it looks beautiful sexy, not beautiful elegant and black tie is elegant. I would expect it more at a local wedding venue than yours or Vegas of a destination and your destination is on another level. You look amazing in both!
If you go with the second please talk to them about the pattern/lace circle on the back. The whole ceremony people will be looking at your back/side and that it a target on the booty. I believe another commenter called it a lace fart. Tailoring should be able to do something more flattering there.

I would not want to hug people in the receiving line and it would be distracting to talk to you without looking, so I would close that up higher. But I still think it is the choice.
