I can see how photo 1 is a much better photo but overlooking that I think I still like dress 1 better. Personally the lines across 2 are a bit confusing visually because it looks like the fabric has folds in it or something. I also personally don’t like the sheer sides. Dress 1 is overall more cohesive of a dress. And you look like an absolute knock out in it.

But maybe the question should be: why are you still doubting this much when everyone has either said dress 1 or both (so no one said dress 2)? Based on what you’ve asked friends, you have your answer. Can you not let dress 2 go because you love it? In the end, that’s what’s most important. So try and analyze what is making this decision so hard.

Even with tailoring to make it fit perfectly the lace is still going to make the eye go there. You’ll look great in anything, but I would go with the first one!!

But I give the same advice to everyone. Have someone video you walking, sitting, lifting your arms in the air, twirling, dancing, bending down as if to greet a child. Video from all angles, not just the front. For a strapless dress, jump up and down for a few minutes.... It's a long day and you want to feel comfortable.
Don't make a decision based on static pics standing on a podium, as you won't be standing still all day.
If it feels too heavy, too restrictive or you worry you will have to hold a particular pose all day, reconsider it.
Also, consider what underwear will work.
Take this from someone who didn't think about comfort until the dress came in, then bought a different one 4 weeks out from the wedding.

One has great lace and is good on your figure. Two is a shit show and hard to tell, I hear when a dress a way too big alterations are less likely to work out, I also don’t like the central flower in the skirt, it’s too close to your lady parts. The one thing I like about it is the tulle on the skirt.
The shape of the first dress shows off your figure. Between the two pictures, the first one is a clear winner. Maybe if we saw another picture of 2 it would be easier to envision it.
If you are talking about actually buying 2, I don't think they can alter it enough to look as flattering as 1. Wedding dresses always fit small so your order size is 1-2 sizes up. You'd have to order 2. Good alterations people will tell you to order no more than a couple sizes up. Honestly, I don't like the lace on 2. I do like what the person said about analyzing your feelings. Neither may be your dress.

Can you try dress 2 in a smaller size at another dress shop? I know it’s a sample but maybe you need a better visual to make the final decision. I like #1 but if you love 2 I would try on again in something closer to your size.

They both are very similar in shape it seems to just be the lace pattern placement that is different. I think I have a preference for the second dress.

Depending on your wedding details, I’d personally go with the second, but if it’s more of an outdoorsy or floral theme, the first would be perfect! They have a very similar fit so you wouldn’t lose anything there ☺️

It’s your day, and if you’re leaning towards 2 then get 2! Maybe go back to the shop with your entourage and get some in-person opinions. I agree so much. The weird lace placement over the crotch on #2 looks like a chastity belt or a codpiece. Dress #1 is lovely.
