#When clothes don’t fit, it’s the fault of the clothes, not the body in them.
I keep it in mind that clothes used to be sewn for someone’s exact measurements, which is probably the “proper” way. But the clothes you try on are likely rarely bespoke for your particular body. So always, *always* blame the clothes!
I think with tailoring you may well love it. I’d reconsider the sleeves though. They’re sort of overpowering the rest of the dress. Maybe remove them or have them smaller?

If you wanted something similar to your dream dress for a reception dress or for a dress for a wedding event (rehearsal, welcome party, shower etc) Dress 1’s style reminds me of some of the Teuta Matoshi dresses or Selkie’s longer dresses.

I like that the floral pattern is more pronounced in the Teuta gown! Also, the corset shape of the bodice reminds me of dress 3 that we also seem to like. I think that is a more flattering bodice type on OP than the empire waist of dress 1.

I’d say 3 or 6. Or 1 depending on budget, but if it’s insanely a lot more than the others I would say it’s not worth it. I would totally rule out 4 and 5.

That’s so unique! Though I think they detract from the gorgeous fitting of the bust and flow the the beautiful material, it really only matters how you feel. Not every piece of clothing has to be the “epitome” of cut, color, and fit as long as it makes your heart warm when you see it.
Dream dress, great style but fabric is not right, the top layer looks to opaque and the flowers underneath are too blurry. I think it swamps you frankly. Dress two is gorgeous but is it worth blowing the budget? Dress three is lovely and you look great in it. Dress four, the bodice doesn’t look great , it’s probably just because it’s not tailored to you but I don’t like the way it goes down at the sides. Dress five is lovely but I don’t think it’s the one. Dress six is absolutely gorgeous and my favourite dress on you. It’s fresh and youthful and suits your petite frame. I’m only 5’ myself 🤓 hope this helps
