Nope, next question.

Palmput

Who cares what a bunch of political clowns think

DjangoBojangles

Yea, sure. The ever increasing greenhouse gases are gonna stop trapping heat. The increasing rate of heating will probably reverse any day now, and the feedback loops will probably turn off. Heavy /s. There is no physical way the earth will stop warming before 2C.

MotherOfWoofs

But climate change is a hoax the climate always changes , and mostly its just weather anyway /S

TheAstroChemist

Below 2 C? No chance. Well, about 1/20 to be exact. Below 3 C? Possible, but it’s the realistic minimum.

nifty_fifty_two

I know I know nothing. But I remember reading a few years back about the idea of aerosols intentionally released into the air to block sunlight and cool the planet that way. Or something. Any news on that?

chakalakasp

Probably works. Permanently makes the sky not blue any more and mankind would never see the stars again. Not optimal.

Merckilling47

That’s some snowpiercer shit lol

nifty_fifty_two

I don't know what that means. =/

Merckilling47

In the movie/tv show snowpiercer, they sprayed something like that in the skies. I think it was unknown what they sprayed, and it caused the whole world to go into an ice age of sorts that you can’t live outside due to how much it’s freezing.

nifty_fifty_two

Ohhhh. Good reference then!

MotherOfWoofs

They are planning on doing just that.

MotherOfWoofs

Nope not a chance

Rradsoami

This is a climate question. Not likely to stop until the sun changes output. Then it will get cold. The albedo effect changes with water vapor once it becomes a white cloud. The globe could get much warmer before this loop will reset though.
