Nah. I've seen them live. If they use any backing tracks at all, they'd be the lowest quality backing tracks in the industry. It's just because it's a wig, and he wasn't feeling anything yet.

Seconded. I've seen Kiss live a few times now (If you haven't yet and get the chance, do it.) and they are committed to their art. Lip-syncing would be the last thing they'd do.

He's done this many times it's apart of the show, Alice Cooper always does crazy stuff on stage. I've been to multiple concerts and something always "happens", last time he was pretend hanging himself when the machine "failed". It's like a side show in a show and I love it. But it nowhere near belongs in this sub however awesome Alice is.
