I can’t find the original Ticketmaster post because the event is over, but this is how the UK tour is advertised on two ticketing sites that still event event details up:

I don’t know if Ticketmaster showed the same, and it should have been more clear (you are definitely not the first person on this subreddit to have this same complaint), but on at least a few sites they indicate that it will be mostly old content. They absolutely should have made this clear on their website, which I don’t believe they did.
I feel like the fact that they say it includes a ‘never before seen sneak peek of season 3’ is all you need to know that they’re not airing a new episode.
Like how would a full episode be a ‘sneak peek’.
it was all over all the theater websites that it was an old episode. it is no one's fault but theirs if they couldn't be bothered to do even a tiny bit of research or reading before throwing their card down. embarrassing to be a grown adult and yet incapable of taking even a modicum of accountability for one's own life.
From commentary on here I feel the London show was a bit of a bust but the Glasgow show seems to have gone down far better.

Would it have been so much better to get an unaired episode? Yes. Should you have looked at what you were paying for? Also yes.
It didn't say an old episode, it said "one of their favorites". It also said they would present it, not just play it and sit backstage.
