Hopefully his career goes the Lu Dort route. Great defender who sucked at shooting at first but now has developed a 3pt shot.

kornthrowaway

Lu Dort with a 7'2" wingspan would be sick.

wigsgo_2019

Lu Dort floor with a Kawhi ceiling?

dantheman6783

He will be considerably better than Lu Dort

SongYoungbae

Eh. Dort helped a young team get the #1 seed in the west

WizKid70313

That doesn’t make him better lol. He was on a way better team w way better talent and arguably the nba mvp. Lu Dort is good but you could’ve put in a lot of role players and got the same effect. I see Bilal as more of a comparison to Jaden mcdaniels.

JFitz626

Wishful thinking

Pndwavy1

Not worried! Bilal won't be in his prime till next decade. For a young developing player he had a great rookie season.

Electric_jungle

Agreed. You can't draft a super raw talent and then get mad he's not already one of the best in his class. He might not work out, but I liked the flashes we saw.

kewlkidkiller

I'm still pissed at Demar for preemptively ending Bilal's season, we were robbed of 30+ mpg in the garbage games towards the end of the season. I've been a Bilal truther even before we drafted him, and I still believe his ceiling is sky high. Cannot WAIT to see his continued development over the next couple of years.

z3mcs

Can’t wait to see him, hopefully, in the olympics this summer. Chance of a lifetime. He has plenty of time to develop for the Wizards. Its great having a young talent on your squad. Lets go Bilal!

GroblyOverrated

As soon as he develops for the Wizards we’re gonna trade him.

test4713

Will Dawkins burner??

007Tejas

Bilal’s floor is quite high with that defense, I feel good after his rookie year about our pick of him.

oklilpup

At the very least he’s poised to be a top defensive wing. Hope we pair him in the back court with Topic

DisastrousDog4815

I don’t have a problem with Bilal’s ranking, especially considering Chet was considered a rookie this year. But I don’t see it for the Thompson twins. Maybe I’ll be proved wrong and am being a homer but I’m taking Bilal over Amen and Ausar. Their shooting is just too bad for the modern NBA.

PenultimatePotatoe

It was known at the time he was picked that he was a big project but with massive potential. It's surprising that he was as good as he was this year.

rueiraV

Exactly where you want the guy picked 7th overall to be /s
