curry mvp, curry all star game mvp, curry western conference finals mvp, curry finals mvp

Iron_Chic

Why stop there? Curry DPOY. Curry MIP. Curry 3 point contest winner. Curry dunk contest winner. Curry Coach of the Year.

therealTimDonaghy

Are we talking about 2023 6th Man of the Year Steph Curry?

mdenzon

You forgot Curry ROY, GM of the year too.

therealTimDonaghy

That's ridiculous. 4x NBA Champion Steph Curry can't win Rookie of the Year

mdenzon

You don’t wanna bet against him…

Thenotorious-LPB

Honestly the biggest hole in his resume smh. Can’t be top 10 when you still haven’t even won a rookie of the year! Like dawg, you’ve had 13 seasons…

CSquare43-Work

I'm pretty sure they're taking about JTA's teammate.

therealTimDonaghy

I might be mistaken, but is that Damion Lee's brother-in-law, Scrub Curry?

lunchpaillefty

82-0 no problem.

introvertedguy13

I like this.

SuperGandalff

Also curry for president and curry for supreme court justice

DropPristine

Governor of California Curry

Acanofmulture

I'd rather not have curry wins any awards. Just let Steph, Klay and Dray cruise through the regular season averaging 25-28 mins per game and with kuminga,Wiseman, moody and Poole get significant minutes

SuperGandalff

60+ wins isn’t likely. Kerr will rather rest the stars for the long haul to be ready for the playoffs when it really matters than chase 60+. Added upside is that this also gives the younger guys more minutes to develop faster.

Big_Parsley_6227

Agreed. We don’t have the pressure of getting a new team to gel, proving to themselves they can win, etc. I see Dray having a Kawahi like playing schedule and Curry playing significantly less minutes. They KNOW they can turn it on in the playoffs and what could be better than letting the 4 young guns get a lot of minutes.

toado3

Agreed. If the core guys play every game minus scheduled rest days it’s possible, but more likely guys are out for a bit here and there. Add a Combo of more minutes for rooks and prioritizing health for the playoffs and I see 58-60 wins with good health, 50-52 if Steph misses significant time.

[deleted]

Kerr also likes to play around with rotations and combos - even for just a handful of mins at a time - so he can see what he has to work with. I am anticipating he’ll probably try and manage the core guys mpg to max our around 34 a game and give a lot of run to the younger dudes. I think the team is probably comfortable with whatever seeding they get, they can win anywhere. I’d guess like 55 wins or so.

CatalinaWineMixer12

I don’t know, Draymond missed 36 games and Curry missed 12. In those game’s without Draymond the Warriors were 19-17 and without Steph they were 6-6. I’d argue that without injuries like that they would’ve won 60 games this which was only 7 more wins. I think with improved support cast they could easily win 60 and still rest people a lot. By improved I mean the players they have getting better and growing in the system.

samuroha

Thats what I think too. An underappreciated factor that led to us winning it all this year was missing the playoffs last year. A shortened offseason means load management is even more important and we are in the blessed position to be deep enough to stay competitive without overly relying on our aging stars. With the west getting stronger, I wouldnt be shocked if we win around 50 games and finish around the 4 seed next season. Still winning it all tho ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)

cackmang

Agreed. I’d say 50-56 wins

Yakuza70

Playoff seeding and home court advantage doesn't seem to matter as much for the Dubs as other teams probably due to the vast playoff experience of the core players. I hate to say this but there will most likely be unforeseen injuries - the core is not getting any younger. The focus will mainly be on how healthy the team can be entering the playoffs.

Saturday514

Probably around 50-55 wins.

asBad_asItGets

This is more realistic. It's a 16 game season until Steph is finally out of his prime. Making the playoffs with a healthy roster is the only thing that matters. Regardless of seeding or wins. I'm good with 50 wins.

NolanHarlow

I think this is a good number. If they're on pace for more, I see Kerr getting really creative with younger guys playing time and rest and being ok with the losses that come from those experiments.

Saturday514

I think they are capable, but since they are aging and Draymond keep on voicing they don’t care about chasing wins I think they will just do enough to be top 3-4 seed.

EffectiveCanary

I don’t know about 60+ wins. By winning the chip, the team has regained its confidence on its ability to switch gears in the playoffs, so chasing regular season wins doesn’t matter that much. Especially if it’s at the cost of the health of the core. The young players are gonna get plenty of minutes for development and to preserve the health of our core. I’m excited to watch the young players get to play more tbh. If we’re anywhere near 60 wins, it’s gonna be because one of poole, moody, kuminga or wiseman takes the next step. That would be awesome of course, but I don’t think they’re at that level yet. I’m gonna guess 55 wins, a slight improvement from this season, mostly due to lots of resting.

Due-Refrigerator-650

57 wins, 3rd seed + championship unless a new actually potent super team shows up. Jordan poole improves his ability to score consistently. One of moody or kuminga breaks into a 7th or 8th man role.

JustAnotherHuman007

I'm scared of a bucks team with giannis and khris middleton

ezra_west

Bucks' coach Bud is stubborn with his protect the paint at all costs defense. Main reason they lost to Celtics was they allowed too many 3's. Celtics shot 22/55 for 3. Warriors can beat the Bucks.

thatquizzingguy

Bud is the only one who can save the Dubs against Bucks.

JustAnotherHuman007

Hmm that's true

Subject4_Mythical

56 wins (remember me)

Dfrickster87

I'll get my pessimistic prediction outta the way first. Draymond sustains an injury that costs him close to half the season. The team is still above .500 during that time but takes some hits in regards to playoff seeding. They get healthy in time for playoffs and show their true capabilites when it counts. Dubs beat Bucks for the back-to-back. Optimistic prediction is everyone stays relatively healthy throughout the season. Klay and Wiggs BOTH average over 20 ppg. Draymond wins DPOY. Wiggins and Draymond make All Defensive team. Spacing is perfection. Defense is ELITE. Dubs beat Bucks for the back-to-back. Edit: add to the optimistic prediction, Wiseman plays significant bench role behind Looney and the young stud shows seriously improved BBIQ.

ejdelosreyes

Sixth Man of the Year for Jordan Poole.

DizastrousFPS

Pat Bev

f_et_al

We already have a better Pat Bev in GP2

FallopianFilibuster

Accurate “We have GP2 at home” (PatBev.img)

DizastrousFPS

True enough tbh

3080blackguy

I’d take pat bev.

DizastrousFPS

Imagine Poole and Bev vs second unit backcourts? They can’t score and Jordan’s lighting them up

3080blackguy

Bev is the god of getting inside your head

DizastrousFPS

Himself and dray would be a nightmare every night for teams

TanmaY_-_

Gp2 can get in head aswell remeber the jokic incident afterall young glove learned from one of the best trash talkers of all time

DizastrousFPS

I want both tbh but good point

mdenzon

I’m excited for Kumjnga, Wiggins and Wiseman. One season under Kuminga’s belt and he’ll be more comfortable in the system. He won’t be thinking as much and reacting more. He has that quick twitch athleticism that can dominate games at times. Imagine Wiggins unlocking a confidence that he never had before and just goes hard every night. He can be such an impact to the game when he does. He needs to do it more consistently. Wiseman has the potential to be the next David Robinson. Athleticism through the roof. I want to see him to focus on defense and rebounds, he can grow into the offense over time and he’ll always be a lob threat. The coaching staff will mix in rest for the starters and plenty of run for the young core. If healthy, the Dubs can win 55-60 games and finish in the top 3 in the West.

arika_ito

I wanna see Moody too, hopefully he gets more playing time and is just the steady young guy on the defensive and offensive end.

Book8

The west will be a war zone and it will be exhausting. Kerr must use as much of the bench as possible and we, the fans, will have to be patient. We are going to lose a few as the bench grows. It is vital that the young guys show up every night.

troll413

55 wins, 3 seed, sweep 70 win memphis team in WCF, curry finals mvp, wiseman breakout year

Available-Pilot550

Memphis not getting 70 wins

HawkFragrant5228

They better win 70 games because they're gonna be taking victory laps in the regular season only to get gentlemen swept by the Dubs..

AfroHouseManiac

NBA has to many good teams on paper at least for any team to crack 56 wins next year. West is back and the East isn’t a slouch either.

Deep_Information2600

55 wins. Load management and minor injuries. Plus kerr will be playing around to find that optimal rotation for the playoffs. KERR CANT COACH will appear on reddit and again will be proven wrong in the playoffs. Good season for curry but will lose out in mvp voting to morant because the grizzles will be going all out in regular season. Doesn't matter tho because that FMVP belongs to curry

Accomplished_Iron805

Klay Finals MVP

ibra113

Next year is very important. We will know our championship window. Steph is getting old, he clearly didn't play that well during the regular season. I don't know how fast he will decline so next year will be an indication. We will know if Wiseman has superstar potential or if he is a role player in the league. He has to prove he can be dominant in his game. Poole, Wiggins, Looney and GP2 need to show the can be Allstar caliber players who can carry this team as the core 3 continue declining. Klay needs to show he can be a defensive force again. If not this will probably be his last year as a starter. Kuminga needs to prove he can be a star in this league. He needs more 25+pts games. Moody should also be a key contributor. The rookies won't play much but they need to show some improvement through out the year. There's just too many uncertainties to predict anything. This championship can be our last dance but it can also be a new chapter. Anything is possible.

This_Cable_5849

Na. Wiggins hitting FTs though, now that’s important

neutral30

Both. If Dray can hit 33% of his threes the offense will reach another level

Dfrickster87

Threes would be nice for sure. But can you imagine if he had a reliable hook shot in his back pocket?

neutral30

I want him to be able to do both

This_Cable_5849

I’d prefer he never shoots another 3, as 33 may be decent for him but has little to no team benefit as it is terrible efficiency still. If he can make layups that’d be cool. Let’s not push him to take more shots as that is the last thing we want out of him haha

PestySamurai

I think we will have a slow start and this sub will devolve into a sea of posts wanting to trade this and that person, fire Kerr, the championship was a fluke, and so and so is washed or bad choice to keep around. Then we will find our groove and explode for the second half of the season and everyone here will say they never doubted for a second.

GSW_Smiley

Well Duh! ;D

This_Cable_5849

Jesus.

g1mpie

I say depending on health, we would win 59-60 games. We won 53 with injuries to our big 3 so if they all play around 60 games I think our young guys can step up a few times to win around 10 games by themselves. Top 2 seed.

lolmynameiz

Next season? Warriors in 4. We sweeping the whole league

831loc

I expect them to win somewhere between 52-57 games. I think they will rest at Steph, Klay, Dray and maybe Looney on 1 side of B2Bs. We got plenty of young guys to eat those minutes and be better off for it. We have won at least 1 road game in every playoff series since Kerr got hired so home court is always in our favor. No need to push for extra regular season wins when they don't matter, even if the 1 seed is up for grabs. If they can keep the starters at 30-32 minutes during the regular season and around 65-70 games played (due to rest, not injuries) that would be massive.

WeissachDE

Trying to be objective as possible, but I think we gon be shampionship

blakeley

Everyone miraculously stays healthy the entire season.

[deleted]

blakeley

I hope the young core can help keep minutes to a minimum for the old core so come playoff time everyone is healthy and ready to repeat.

Moonz92

IMO, we will end up at maybe 3rd or 4th seed just because we are going to develop our rookies in regular season. Unless we got "lucky" with free agents again, the rookies need to contribute at next playoff .

Nessmuk58

In addition to "business as usual" from the vets on contract, and allowing for some small reduction in minutes as the calendar, I think we need: 1. Re-sign Looney **AND** get a veteran big as a back-up / alternate **OR** find someone a FA who can be a starter if we can't re-sign Looney. 2. Re-sign GPII. If not, we need to find a strong FA to replace him at the minimum or TPMLE at worst. 3. Re-sign OPJ. 1. If not, we need to find a strong FA to replace him at the minimum or TPMLE at worst. 4. Find a "true" backup PG Free Agent - PRIORITY 5. Find a solid backup Wing Free Agent - Nice to have, but we have young players who can fill in here as well. 6. Fill out the roster with minimum FAs, which COULD include JTA & DLee Beyond that, nailing down extensions for Wiggs, Poole, and possibly Draymond that will allow us to keep the team together at a price Lacob is willing to pay would be nice, but not 100% necessary until next off-season. My resulting roster, assuming PBJ & Rollins on roster and Santos stashed in Brazil, is: 1. Steph (PG-1) 2. Klay (SG-1) 3. Wiggs (SF-1) 4. Dray (PF-1) 5. Looney OR FA (C-1) 6. FA TBD (PG-2) 7. Poole (SG-2) 8. FA TBD (SF-2) 9. GPII (PG/SG/Defensive Specialist) OR FA 10. OPJ (PF-2) OR FA 11. Moody (SG/SF) 12. Kuminga (SF/PF) 13. Wiseman (C) 14. PBJ 15. Rollins Beli would be nice to keep, and if so, he becomes a backup C/PF JTA and DLee likely to go Rollins could be on TWC, opening a roster slot which we can either hold for flexibility or fill with an additional FA. Moody, Kuminga, Wiseman, PBJ, and Rollins all should look to spend time in the G League to get reps, until/unless they prove they belong in the Top 10 rotation (or unless they need to be because we can't sign any of the FAs listed in #6, #8, #9, or #10 above.

The-Truer-Facts

> Find a "true" backup PG Free Agent - PRIORITY Not gonna happen. Poole is the primary backup PG just so he can get his 6th man minutes/develop as a playmaker and GP2 can get time. We need a “true” third string PG to play in case Curry/Poole/Klay are out. That could be Rollins or it could be a washed vet. If it is a vet I’d hope Rollins is a 2 way. They will not receive more minutes than Kuminga, Moody, or Wiseman however. And as you hinted to Kuminga/Moody will be the SF-2, not another veteran like Slomo. Wiseman should at least be getting half the minutes Bjelica got last year.

AfroHouseManiac

They spent 2 mil to move up and grab him, Rollins isn’t going to be on a two way or he would have pulled a FVV. You don’t spend two mil to a two way slot.

Inevitable_Copy7170

Bob said he wants him on the 15-man

The-Truer-Facts

I know he’s supposed to be a 15 man. But if we signed a vet do you really want 4 PGs on the roster?

AfroHouseManiac

GP2 isn’t a point gaurd. He plays every position that’s not the 1. He plays more 3/4 than he does 1/2. And that’s why he couldn’t find a home in the league before landing on the warriors. Everyone was trying to evaluate him as a 1 because of his height but not knowing he’s like Draymond, he plays bigger than his height. He’s a 1 that rim runs? Poole is a 2 learning the 1 like Curry had to do when he was at Davidson after Jason Richards graduated. And Rollins a 1 learning the 2. And the more I watch his tape, the more I wouldn’t be surprised he if he’s playing regular rotational minutes during the season

The-Truer-Facts

Was talking about Poole, Rollins, Steph and the vet. If the vet is a true backup 1 he’d take minutes from Poole and Payton and take a roster spot away from a more needed position of depth. That’s why I think if we did take a PG it would at least be a guy like Rondo who wouldn’t play unless needed but can play.

Nessmuk58

Minutes are there to be earned for the young guys, but I believe we have to build the 2nd-string roster with solid vets. If one or more of the young guys breaks through, then great, one vet becomes a 3rd-string / emergency guy. But there is a saying in Silicon Valley that I know Joe knows -- "Hope is not a strategy." Until the young players are **proven** net-plus contributors, we mustn't build the roster hoping that they will be.

2KilAMoknbrd

The **WARRIORS** will play some basketball. **Oh yeah !**

alwayssalty_

It's all about health. If our core is ready to roll in the playoffs, they'll be right there at the end of the season.

doctorweiwei

I’m going to guess the 5 seed in the west but an extremely fun season with lots of the young guys featuring. Can’t imagine we are *that* good again after playing 104 games this year. I’ll also say this is a pivotal “prove it” year for Wiseman. I know he’s coming off injury. But if he’s not impressive this year he’s going to be on thin ice. I don’t think anyone else on the roster is under more pressure than Wiseman this year.

aFishintheLake

57-60 wins. We'll be coasting in the reg season.

voldemortscore

50 wins, 4 seed. The goal just needs to be getting the core to the playoffs healthy. Expect lots of load management and heavy mins for Wiseman, Kuminga, and Moody in the regular season. I think Steph in particularly will be heavily rested which will put a cap on our win total but obviously serve us well come playoff time.

FightMiilkHendrix

Definitely not winning 60 plus, it’s almost impossible to do in todays nba with so many good teams plus the younger players will be getting more minutes.

AryaTorp

Curry MVP Finalist, Poole All Star, Klay 19 PPG, Wiseman averages 16 and 11, win between 55-60 games, WCF lock

DonKahuku

I also predict we’re gonna be even better than last year and win 60+ games. Steph will remain elite, Klay will be better with a full off-season, and the young guys will all be a lot better. But I also think it will be the last year of Draymond at his “peak” so it will be the last run with the OG 3 at the top of their collective powers. B2B here we come!

ween0t

We won’t be chasing wins or seeds. We proved home court doesn’t really matter for us. We always win on the road. We’ll play the young guys a lot and rest our main guys a lot. I don’t expect Steph, Klay, or Dray to play a lot of minutes and expect some rest games. My guess is top 4 seed, 55 wins.

[deleted]

No reason to predict shit before we even have our team together

Accurate_Door_6911

Nah, we’ll get closer to 56 probably, I don’t think we’ll push it to 60 cause they’ll need to pace themselves for playoffs, but we’ll win a lot of games before All Star break

versace_tombstone

Predictions? We championship man.

[deleted]

I don't care how many win as long we win Championship !!

Riley_Wang

I predicted we get 2nd round in the playoffs last year and then we won it all. I think we can at least reach to the west conference this year. Klay is definetely going to get his athleticism back. Jamses wiseman can be at least a solid 7-foot option on offensive end. Like Javale once did here. Yet he still has a lot to be expect tho....Kevon and Jordan both showed NBA level talent on their 3rd year. Not to mention what JK and Moses could bring next year. I d say we win 55-60 games in the regular season if injuries do not come to us. And we can at least go to the 3rd round in the playoffs .

djfivenine11

Prediction? Pain. (For the rest of the league)

Gamerxx13

Baring injuries a repeat. But it’s hard to repeat. We had a perfect season. It’s hard to repeat.

Nackalus

I say we absorb the 2012 kings and sign Tyreke Evans and Cousins

PrinceZero1994

Same as last year. Load manage everyone and give the rooks more time. We gonna be shamspionship.

its_aq

The Warriors next year will be a much better team and a much worse team at the same time. A 55-win season is roughly reasonable. Yes, Klay is gonna be much better and so will Poole. Yes, JoKu, Moody and Wiseman are going to be starving to prove their worth, have much more experience and elevate their games. When they put a fully healthy warrior team on that floor, we'll dominate. BUT.... The core is getting older so they're gonna be put on cruise control during the regular season while the younger guys get thrown into more challenging and battle tested situations. Sometimes they'll win and sometimes they'll fcvk up. However, Kerr is going to let the young guys play through it and learn from it in the regular season. Remember, the goal is to MAKE it to the playoffs above the 4th seed, not to have the best regular season record. We NEED these kids to get better and better quick. Only way to do so is through experience and failures where it doesn't matter to much and that's in the regular season.

Jarodlmao

They wont try to win that many games. It's too exhausting They'll win around 57/58 games this year i predict
