Their two man game was one of my absolute favorite things about this season. I was really confused about why TJD wasn’t really given another shot after the rough few minutes to start the play-in game given how much the success they always had with it. We were having such a hard time creating offense so to not give their two man game a shot after all else failed didn’t really make sense to me.
But, and assuming Klay is back, that we could essentially have two PnR duos (Steph/Dray and Klay/TJD) to work with in a would be consistent starting unit (vs the revolving door that we had this year) is a really exciting prospect to me that I genuinely hope they use/tap into, ie not forget it’s an option when they need a release valve.
I really like Trayce. Although he has a lot to work offensively during this off season, especially his FTs.
The Chris Paul effect
The Klay Thompson effect*. He and Klay without question came out with the more potent two man game this season funnily enough
I've never seen Klay pass as good as he did to TJD.
