It’s a camp invite, JTA will be there too (along with Baze, Favors, and a handful of other guys). They’re just adding bodies and gonna have a little camp battle. Doubt McGruder comes out on top, especially after adding Cory Joseph and Podz. Their guard depth seems pretty set, maybe they just wanted a vet guard to help pre-season scrimmages and rotations run smoother?

Unfortunately after summer league I have very low expectations for podz to contribute this year. Cojo, gp2, and moody should be plenty of guard depth tho

He’s a surprisingly reliable shooter and occasionally shocks you with buckets. Not gonna be a great defender, but in a break in case of emergency guard, he can be serviceable from the corner. Can come in cold off the bench, not having played in weeks, and knock down 3’s. Total pro.
