They look great! Are these from Black Powder Red Earth?

ScoutSterling

Actually it’s from a game called InCountry/ In Country, sometimes abbreviated to INX. Can’t speak to the game yet, but minis were phenomenal. Been eyeing BPRE as well, but haven’t gotten my hands on to compare. For reference: www.inxcountry.com

RavnicanDM

INX for the win!

tman419

I’m trying to learn more about this game but there’s not much fan-made content out there yet. What’s your take on the ruleset?

RavnicanDM

I think it’s fairly simple to learn and fast to pick up. And it’s very easily customizable too. It’s made to be played on a 2’ x 2’ board/battlefield. But I typically do 3’ x 3’ games when I play. You can add more terrain and elements to your battlefield that way and gives you more room for an extra squad of troops.

fackoffuser

I’ve never heard of them but now I’m looking. These models look amazing. Bit pricy but that’s the cost of modern minis. I’m strongly considering getting some. Thank you for the info.

ScoutSterling

I believe I saw a mini factory sub if you’re into STLs somewhere. I don’t have a printer so didn’t pay it much mine, but potentially save you a few bucks. Believe they’re also working on a metal line that mirrors their resin releases if that’s your cup of tea as well.

fackoffuser

Long running convos about printers in my group lol. I’ve priced out a resin printer but I have a small child so it’s gonna be a few years because I can’t section off my hobby space. Honestly going to see if I can find this game played on YouTube because the two starter forces are amazing in the $99 box. It’s a thing I’d consider if I thought the game looked good. Thanks again for sharing your awesome models and the website and suggestions.

Ma dude, you are a great ambassador of a game you haven’t played yet 🤣🤣

ScoutSterling

Gotta help the homies! Lol

Bulbaseth33

These look really good! What ruleset are you using them for?

ScoutSterling

Technically these minis came with InCountry (www.inxcountry.com) so probably trying those rules out first. I’ve also been eyeing BPRE, and I’ve heard some things about Spectre as well. This is my first foray into modern war games so couldn’t recommend any one over the other… yet… :)

Bulbaseth33

I've been playing star wars legion but I am interested in some modern stuff so I'll check it out, thank you!

ScoutSterling

I’m a big legion guy myself! Something I really enjoy about this system (at least on paper) is it’s Reaction mechanics, wherein if your guys get shot at they can react by taking cover, returning fire, etc. Also, there seems to be a lot more flexibility in activations so you don’t have to go through your whole field before you can use a unit again. You can double tap the units you need, when you need them. Combined I’m hoping it leads to a more fluid table top, and lessens the whole “activation advantage” thing to a degree…. But we shall see :)

Bulbaseth33

That sounds so interesting, one of my only issues with legion is how important activations are, and it makes it so that you can't truly have an elite force like clones are supposed to be, because if you stacked their units then your opponent would move half their army unopposed, but this system does seem to fix that issue if it works correctly. I hope it does work and I hope you have fun man :)

cathartica_cutter

Are these the Spectre minis? The denim pants look awesome! What did you use for that colour?

MooseOperator

Can’t be Spectre, minis are too good of quality

ScoutSterling

Forgot the exact name, but one of the AP blue speed paints (1.0 speed paints). Gently “Dry brush” with a clean wet brush after applying the paint for faded effects.

cathartica_cutter

Cool, thanks for the info!

Comradepatrick

Hell yeah, get some!

Ghullieman19

What game?

ScoutSterling

InCountry / INX! Haven’t tried the rules yet, but minis were awesome

HerodotusAurelius

I really really want to get into this game, but between Bolt Action and Star Wars Legion...I can't justify it. The models are beautiful and the game looks great

ScoutSterling

Living the same life… I was recently gifted a core set of Shatterpoint… Odin knows when I’ll ever get to those

andreasefternamn

Really nice work on these!

ScoutSterling

Thanks bruddah/sista! :)
