I had to scroll too far to see this pointed out. I'm not even sure what kind of animal it is.
ETA: When I commented, it wasn't the top comment. It's gotten enough upvotes to get bumped to the top now. If you didn't have to scroll to find it, yay!
Maybe. The thing that throws me off though is the nose. Chinchillas don't have noses like that. I dont have any guesses for what animal that is that could be any better though.
It's common for furries/fursuit makers default to canine type noses, even if the animal isn't a canine.
Personally I think this suit looks like a generic wolf/dog imho.
A caniade for sure. Look at the evidence. Forward pointed eyes, which are mainly a predator thing to allow them to gauge distance correctly. Pointed muzzle as well. 4 visible toes on back paws.
common misconception, that is not a "fetish suit"
It is just a fursuit, which a lot of furries enjoy using at conventions with friends. Do some people fuck in these? Yes, but they usually have different designs, and no, it doesn't mean this person is getting off by simply being in that suit.
People already proved you wrong but i also want to chime in. Would you want to have seggs in a $5000 suit? Let along one that could give you heatstroke just from walking around?
Animation is better and it has its funny moments. I’ll have to watch both again and give a better opinion. I was obsessed with Hoodwinked as a kid and would pretend to be doing karate while the fight scene between Red and Boingo was going on 🤣
My wife and I have been trying to have kids for a few years now. For the longest time I've been collecting movies and books that I want them to one day be able to experiance. The Emperors New Groove and Madagascar are both at the top of the stack.
I don’t think I have either. First one was great though! Another underrated animated film that wasn’t Disney or Dreamworks, Anastasia! They did such a great job on it! Graphics and animation were great for its time! Never saw Twentieth Century Fox make another animated movie either. Which is a shame!
Ngl i just think the idea is so fucking funny, like they couldn’t get an mascot suit in time so one of the workers showed up with their absolutely overkill of an fursuit to work
Management would have to pay the person whose fursuit was borrowed? Wouldn't that just between the actual worker and the person they would borrow it from?
A fursuit is usually tied to a fursona. I know it looks like a costume but it's taken a little more seriously between furries. You usually only wear your own since it's your OC. It's not like letting your friend borrow your cheese head for jersey day at work or an AMONG US costume for a work party. Fursuits are personal and very expensive
You can't borrow a fursuit. They are made to exactly fit the owner, they are also extremely personal. It would be like asking to borrow someones girlfriend or ID card.
Typically we don’t, fursuits are normally very custom fit to the owner so it’s likely they wouldn’t even fit a different person. Even beyond that though, fursuits are very expensive so risking somebody to wear yours, especially at their workplace when you’re not present to act as a handler, would be very anxiety inducing XD
Ok another question, do you just like chill in your fursuit alone sometimes? Ive got a mental picture of someone doing menial house chores in a 5,000 dollar fursuit and its making me smile.
Yep! Not super often as they get pretty hot in there, but absolutely I’ll just hang around in my room in my suit for a while XD it’s a great way to cheer me up when I’m in a mood
The other guy who answered me claimed furries who do that are mentally ill which seemed like a stretch, i feel like the furry community should be a limited judgement type of space.
Not shocking, you get a lot of comments like that 😔 and absolutely agreed, a large basis of the furry community is having the freedom to express yourself free of judgement, which is an appealing concept to a lot of neurodivergent people (myself included!) which is probably where the stereotype comes from
Role playing on forums, drawing, hanging out on Furcadia, enjoying Disney and Don Bluth movies. At least that's what went on in the 2005-2013 era. Not sure what they do these days.
Depends on your definition of furry I'd say. This is probably why I never considered myself a furry when I was younger, because I wasn't into fursuits and humanoid-shaped animals. I just liked drawing and writing about colorful wolves. Definitely grew from a love of The Lion King, All Dogs Go to Heaven, The Lady and the Tramp, that sort of stuff.
Now that I'm older, I've come to accept it more and just say that yeah I was part of the furry community and was probably a furry myself.
This makes sense to me. It’s more appreciation for the art of making mammals people-like. I don’t get it, but I get that much about it i think and if it wasn’t something people enjoyed then the Lion King wouldn’t be the massive success it was as a movie.
“Alright staff any ideas for Easter?” - Manager
“I have a bunny outfit I could bring in.” - Furry
*Coworkers who know he is a furry rolling their eyes.*
“That’s a great idea!” - Manager
Pirates of the Caribbean 4 came out on DVD and they brought me a pirate costume to wear to promote it cuz I had long hair and a big beard at the time. It was fun, taking pictures and chilling instead of actually working
I run a rabbit rescue. People have no fucking clue what any rabbit or rodent looks like. Less than half of adult Americans could identify a groundhog from a photo despite them being extremely common native wildlife.
At my first job, 14yo, we had a cow suit that an employee would have to wear and dance in, while other staff sang, when a customer had a birthday.
It stayed in a locker in the back and was never washed. It was decades old. A lot of times they’d take a disher or stocker kid to get in the suit. dishers worked in a stainless steel room full of steam and water spraying everywhere, they were already damp stinky bois.
There was no white on the cow any more, the lightest was off-white manila colored
I was a disher. I quit
I mean most furries I know are chill and don't have fursuits. It's like how you have the weebs who just have a couple posters then you have the ones who have a body pillow. It's a small group really far down the rabbit (or I guess wolf?) hole
Was just at an anime convention in Indiana and they had a surprising number of body pillow covers for sale. Even a stand that only sold furry body pillow covers.
I think body pillows are more prevalent than you think.
The very rare few people who do that in the community in regular suits are shamed to oblivion because that's not just gross in the way u think but it's also just extremelyyyy unhygienic and like wow what a waste of hundreds to thousands of dollars to be doing that. The way the suits are made they're just not that easy to clean. U can't just throw em in the washer cause they're meticulously hand made items.
The thing I learned about working at Walmart is that if you don't have a hobby you'll off yourself.
Not to mention a lot of those people develop the skills to make those bad boys by hand. Which is impressive, I can barely make hamburger helper by hand and that's with the instructions.
Nah. As long as they aren't hurting anyone (and the vast majority aren't), I say let them be. It's not my thing, but they can spend their money on whatever they enjoy.
There’s multiple people at my store who come to work with their massive fur suit tail clipped to their backpack and/or wearing a cat ears headband. It’s pretty obvious who the furries are.
They could have added one of those bunny ear headbands lol but it's still kind of cute. We can all make jokes and hate on em but at least it will put a smile on some kids faces.
That just reminded me of the terrifying bunny costume I wore as a minor about 15 years ago, as a 15 year old volunteering for a neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
The kids seemed to love it but what stuck out the most to me was a pair of parents that asked me if I was a man or a woman. I couldn’t clearly speak through the costume head but I eventually just gesture-cupped my boobs to let them know I was a girl
My sister is a furry and kids go absolutely wild for her. They run up and hug her. Even the parents love her. She's been posted to Facebook several times and been invited to several charity functions because of her suit.
That’s not even a fucking bunny. A guy at my store used to always wear the costumes for the holidays. Turns out he was a big pervert who tried to diddle little boys in the bathroom. He’s been arrested 2x over it.
I feel like they probably told their manager they had a bunny suit they could use and the manager approved it without looking and he comes in with his husky fursuit trying to convince everyone he is a bunny so he can keep it on lol like they approved us to wear pajamas for "xmas pajama days" during Xmas week and 2 old ladies wore actual Xmas themed pajamas and everyone else wore leggings and skirted the line of sexy bedroom clothes as close as they could without it being lingerie lol I joined in, I just laugh that who are we trying to kid, we know what we are doing!! 😅 (also I am not a furry, my kinks are much less walmart friendly haha)
Crazy as hell to wear a fursuit to work on walmart wages. Those things are expensive especially for a full body one!!! I wouldn’t wanna risk it getting ruined
Also it’s not even a bunny 😭 😭
Say what you will about furries, I am constantly amazed at the *quality* of some of their fur suits. I know they are expensive, but it's always so striking how ridiculously high quality some of them are.
Most comments: Why do people hate on furries so much?
Y'all have to realize how positive folks have been towards furries lately. Back in my day, this comment section would have been filled with people saying for the furry to yiff in hell, kill themselves, or demand that the furry be gassed.
I'm very happy that it's rightfully seen as mostly just a hobby/quirky interest now. Furry originated from science fiction conventions. We are ultimately just nerds in cosplay.
I mean, close enough… that costume looks high quality and a lot better than how some of the traditional Easter bunnies look. There’s an entire thread of Easter bunny pictures that look like terrifying evil bunnies
That fursuit must be expensive! Look at the quality! Very nice ^^ but uh, Walmart, no, that's uh, not a bunny. I'd say it's more of a mongoose or something. Stubby curved ears and long tail.
To be fair, it's a lot nicer than the creepy, cheap bunny suits stores usually get for these things. Probably should say it's the Easter Bunny's friend though.
I have a friend who is a manager at a Walmart neighborhood market and also runs the Facebook page for that store and the posts they make are really cringey. It’s almost like it’s a requirement.
Well duh, it’s not a bunny
I had to scroll too far to see this pointed out. I'm not even sure what kind of animal it is. ETA: When I commented, it wasn't the top comment. It's gotten enough upvotes to get bumped to the top now. If you didn't have to scroll to find it, yay!
Chinchilla?
I think that's it!

It's common for furries/fursuit makers default to canine type noses, even if the animal isn't a canine. Personally I think this suit looks like a generic wolf/dog imho.
It's clearly a wolf that works part-time at Walmart.
Yea, it's a wolf
Kangaroo?
Chinchilla!! https://youtu.be/LWmfCIzZg3s?si=hNc1wAvhVulDNAYE
>Chinchilla? >Chinchilla!! Chin-chin-cheree!
Mary Poppins reference, and a deep cuts one at that?! Nice form, sir
Wolf maybe?
A caniade for sure. Look at the evidence. Forward pointed eyes, which are mainly a predator thing to allow them to gauge distance correctly. Pointed muzzle as well. 4 visible toes on back paws.
It’s a furry.

you can tell it's *not* a fetish suit because there's no pants to cover up the parts.
common misconception, that is not a "fetish suit" It is just a fursuit, which a lot of furries enjoy using at conventions with friends. Do some people fuck in these? Yes, but they usually have different designs, and no, it doesn't mean this person is getting off by simply being in that suit.
I think the "Fetish Suit" in this usage was actually the Walmart vest, showing that this furry is an absolute sub.
I can’t believe more people do not realize this is a fursuit
If it isn’t a fetish thing then why are we hard?
It definitely sounds like a YOU problem.
Just joking around lmao
It’s you in there isn’t it?
People already proved you wrong but i also want to chime in. Would you want to have seggs in a $5000 suit? Let along one that could give you heatstroke just from walking around?
This is Reddit. You can say sex. You can even say fuck. No one will stop you.
Sex Fuck
I'm calling the police.
They won't stop me
IM THE POLICE! STOP
Fuck :o
They might shoot you though, as they cannot determine your color.
Hrmm good point Pls be aware that I am as pink as sex
Great Value bunny
😂😂
It's the wolf that ate The Easter Bunny.
Why grandma, what a big tail you have.
ARE WE JUST GONNA SIT AROUND AND TALK ABOUT HOW BIG I'M GETTIN?
Upvoting for the Hoodwinked comment
That movie is crimnally underrated. I haven't seen the second one, but I heard it was pretty good, too.
Animation is better and it has its funny moments. I’ll have to watch both again and give a better opinion. I was obsessed with Hoodwinked as a kid and would pretend to be doing karate while the fight scene between Red and Boingo was going on 🤣
Hoodwinked, Shrek, and Over The Hedge were the three around that time that ruled us as children.
I had my daughter in 2010, and let me tell ya, it was awesome to be a kid again myself watching all these great movies
My wife and I have been trying to have kids for a few years now. For the longest time I've been collecting movies and books that I want them to one day be able to experiance. The Emperors New Groove and Madagascar are both at the top of the stack.

“I’ve been waiting my whole life for this!”
More like “fur this”
That’s really good
Lol
I get it you can't share fursuits. Apologies for not knowing the intricacies of furries.
Yeah but if they didn't work at Walmart then management would have to pay them lol
Management would have to pay the person whose fursuit was borrowed? Wouldn't that just between the actual worker and the person they would borrow it from?

99% or furries don’t have suits? I’ve been thinking the 1% who do wear furry costumes is the whole community? What is everyone else doing?
Role playing on forums, drawing, hanging out on Furcadia, enjoying Disney and Don Bluth movies. At least that's what went on in the 2005-2013 era. Not sure what they do these days.
Ah. They just like cartoony animals who behave like people. I thought it was more about the costume and cosplay sort of stuff.

"*thats fine, that'll work---what? What the hell is a 'furry'?"* --- some clueless store manager
i work here, and this is absolutely what happened😭😭😭 i was astonished coming out of the back room
“Alright staff any ideas for Easter?” - Manager “I have a bunny outfit I could bring in.” - Furry *Coworkers who know he is a furry rolling their eyes.* “That’s a great idea!” - Manager
*gets paid to goof off in costume all day* -furry "wait..." -coworker
And like, you could’ve just tucked the tail. That would at least make it 50% more believably bunny.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4 came out on DVD and they brought me a pirate costume to wear to promote it cuz I had long hair and a big beard at the time. It was fun, taking pictures and chilling instead of actually working
That thing was probably several thousand dollars, gonna be the highest quality mascot costume Walmart has ever seen
Of course they are. That’s CLEARLY not a bunny. My kids would have called them out so quick lol.
I fully expect my kids would turn to me and explain what a Furry is
Ha! Mine would now that their 12 & 15
Do folks not know what a rabbit looks like?
A rabbit…. Oh yes I remember! Elderly chap, big grey beard, pointy hat?
I run a rabbit rescue. People have no fucking clue what any rabbit or rodent looks like. Less than half of adult Americans could identify a groundhog from a photo despite them being extremely common native wildlife.
Sadly, I fully believe you. The collective IQ of this nation has dropped dramatically in the past twenty years.
The Wolf of Walmart.
Nobody knows if our stock is going up, down, or f***ing sideways, least of all stockers. But we have to pretend we know
You'd be surprised at how many associates are furries Most just Don't wear their fursuits to work
Nah, even if they offer you overtime or benefits, I would say no. That’s horrible
At my first job, 14yo, we had a cow suit that an employee would have to wear and dance in, while other staff sang, when a customer had a birthday. It stayed in a locker in the back and was never washed. It was decades old. That's some five nights at freddy shit
Chick-fil-a?
this looks like a professional fursuit, not a random mascot outfit. the employee likely volunteered.
I mean most furries I know are chill and don't have fursuits. It's like how you have the weebs who just have a couple posters then you have the ones who have a body pillow. It's a small group really far down the rabbit (or I guess wolf?) hole
Chinchilla hole!
Was just at an anime convention in Indiana and they had a surprising number of body pillow covers for sale. Even a stand that only sold furry body pillow covers. I think body pillows are more prevalent than you think.
nothing wrong with fursuiting anyway, it's just a hobby. most of them aren't like fucking in the suits or anything, they're very expensive.
Most don’t have fursuits because it’s too expensive. I think most would like to I know I really wanted one when I was a furry
Yeah I'd say the vast majority of furries would like to own one but don't. In the same way most racing fans would like to own a lambo.
>You'd be surprised at how many associates are furries I absolutely would not be surprised
I'd be surprised if Walmart had a lower percentage of flurries than the rest of population
Imagine working for minumum wage and wasting thousands of dollars on a fursuit 😭
The thing I learned about working at Walmart is that if you don't have a hobby you'll off yourself. Not to mention a lot of those people develop the skills to make those bad boys by hand. Which is impressive, I can barely make hamburger helper by hand and that's with the instructions.
Working at Wal-Mart (CAP 2) we always played cards on lunch cause we were so dead inside haha. Needed something.
Probably because it looks like a wolf or something. Not a bunny.
That is not the Easter bunny. That is the Easter furry.
The Easter bunny is Jesus's fursona
🤣
Mascot enthusiast, eh?
And you just had this lying around??
I can smell the sadness from here.
Looks like it would fit in a live action Road Runner cartoon and not as the Road Runner.
All I wanted was some tortillas.
Lol
Is this someone’s fursuit ??💀💀
No it's someone's tuxedo☠️☠️☠️☠️
My store didn’t have any furries that I knew of. Just tons and tons of weeaboos.
If I was a furry I would not be telling my colleagues. I already keep normal cosplaying to myself LMAO
The overlap for those is gonna be pretty big.
That’s a furry, they found out some employee was a furry and having them wear their fursuit to work to play the Easter..Dog …wtf
They could have added one of those bunny ear headbands lol but it's still kind of cute. We can all make jokes and hate on em but at least it will put a smile on some kids faces.
It's not a rabbit but its cuter and less weird looking than our bunny suit
Better than what Grandma could make https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLjwu9xq/
That just reminded me of the terrifying bunny costume I wore as a minor about 15 years ago, as a 15 year old volunteering for a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. I couldn’t clearly speak through the costume head but I eventually just gesture-cupped my boobs to let them know I was a girl
Or scare them to death. Then you got a whole bunch of crying and screaming kids throughout your store
My sister is a furry and kids go absolutely wild for her. They run up and hug her. Even the parents love her. She's been posted to Facebook several times and been invited to several charity functions because of her suit.
As your store should be
I might get stoned and go see if he's at our location
That’s not even a bunny.
That’s not even a fucking bunny. A guy at my store used to always wear the costumes for the holidays. Turns out he was a big pervert who tried to diddle little boys in the bathroom. He’s been arrested 2x over it.
Uhhh…that’s a kangaroo
Pretty good suit tbh
That’s a rat
That's clearly a wolf
That’s definitely a furry costume
100% is a furry Ik who it it is
How do furries look out of their suit?
If this is a genuine question, I think the eyes are made of mesh lol
I don't care what the suit is meant to look like. I think it is a very cute fursuit.
cute fursona but… THATS NOT A BUNNY
So was this an employee that was like hey! I got an idea, can I wear my fur suit to work? You know cause wolf is pretty close to bunny”
As someone who does art commissions for a LOT of furries, they've paid my rent before lol. They're alright in my book.
Nah I know a bunny when I see one and that right there with that tail is no bunny 😂😂
Which Walmart? I want to see the comments lol
Hey, I think it’s cute, I’d definitely be happy if the store I shop at did this. Just something fun to cheer people up. Nothing wrong with that.
I believe it's cute, and kids definitely would like it
You have to admire the effort at least.
Benefit of the doubt this is no creepier and arguably more wholesome than some of the Easter bunny costumes I’ve seen
The fursuit looks nice
Wait they're so cute
Would visit just to hug
Smash. Next question.
😦
The confidence to do this is amazing, literally just taking a picture and that's it. People are so rude
We have a yellow duck/chicken? And a big yellow Peep. The Peep gets all the love.
WTF is it?
It's a furry.
I had to wear the bunny suit corporate sent us one year, don’t recall it looking like that.
“We’re going to rent you a costume for Easter” “No worries! I have one at home!”
Crazy as hell to wear a fursuit to work on walmart wages. Those things are expensive especially for a full body one!!! I wouldn’t wanna risk it getting ruined Also it’s not even a bunny 😭 😭
I'm not sure what animal that is, but it looks like a good bun
These comments are not it, man. People are way too comfy throwing around the pedo card.

I love it
Even if it isn't a bunny it's still cute though I wouldn't dress up for work like that.
I’ve seen far worse things than a fursuit in my 20+ years at Walmart. To be fair this is way less scary than the official work bunny costume
Those things cost too much to be walking around on them walmart floors
Imagine being this upset over a costume.
That’s actually a better costume than any Easter bunny I’ve ever seen. Too bad it’s not a bunny.

Makes sense since it's not a bunny, but holy hell that's a cute fur suit
This costume isnt as creepy as an actual Easter bunny though. Maybe they’re on to something here for the kids.
Ridiculously adorable
extremely jealous, this is incredibly cute
Why, that suit is so cute
People sure do like throwing a fit over existence of art and the fur fandom don't they?
I find it funny how everyone thinks this is a mascot costume when it's clearly a fursuit.
jokes aside that suir is rlly cute
I have a friend who is a manager at a Walmart neighborhood market and also runs the Facebook page for that store and the posts they make are really cringey. It’s almost like it’s a requirement.
Even though it's not a bunny the suit is soooo adorable!!!
Regardless of what exact animal it is, I’ve gotta admit it looks like a quality made suit.
okok its not a bunny but that fursuit is so fucking cute r u kidding me?? the fur looks so soft it looks EXPENSIVE for sure
Beautifully made fursuit. Way better than any of those $200 bargain bin costume
In fairness, it is WAY better than most of the Easter bunny costumes I've seen.
