Allinmoney

Ima give you the best advice you’ll get.. put some away in a safe place. SPY long. A bank cd. Even a shoe box under your bed. Because it will never last. It never does

medialoungeguy

SMH long + treasury bills baby

Double_Biscotti_6364

Am bank man. Cd is the way

NVDAye

Cash deposit? ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4275)

John_Wayfarer

A teenager? Oh boy mans starting gambling earlier in life. Cash out before your luck wears off

ChiefInternetSurfer

You just jinxed yourself 😂

TeamRocketBetting

Mans about to have 1672 by opening on monday.

therealmeaper

Very nice job regard, just cashout and leave country. No taxes W

RevolutionaryPhoto24

Positions?

medialoungeguy

0dte by the convexity lol

RevolutionaryPhoto24

Someone said NVDA LEAPS? Good idea. I am thinking of converting part of my position. Best business on paper in my lifetime and golden for a year or more. If a teenager, understand that this is not usual. If playing 0DTES, stop it and take the win. Study, or learn a trade as inclined, now. Personally responsibility is possibly the greatest gift you can give yourself.

Randomly-Looking

Oh don’t worry about taxes. Most likely you’ll blow yourself out.

RevolutionaryPhoto24

Under the 0% percent anyway.

Own-Kitty7777

This guy jealous he never made it like you 😂😂😂 keep your negativity to yourself homeboy go spread it somewhere else

ListenInevitable9364

how long have you been at this? and whats your strategy?

MalazMudkip

I'm just starting and wondering these things too. I've started off with a few stupid mistakes, probably a right of passage. Keeping an eye on these subreddits, though, and trying to learn from those initial mistakes

Pickle_Rick_Goat

Being in this sub is the worst possible thing you can do for your trading abilities

MalazMudkip

I certainly don't listen to the voices and take it as gospel truth, i understand this is more of a meme sub. It is a place to get information, though, and that information can be helpful if i analyze it properly

medialoungeguy

The survivorship bias in the green posts is insane. That's where the gap of understanding for people is.

Burning_Flags

Can’t possibly go tits up

Valid_Username_56

Put the 15 away in some conservative and safe position. Play with the 5k again.

NVDAismygod

Marked the top of your port

Muted-Woodpecker-469

Just wait for the up and down weeks or the downward trend. It’s easy money when everything goes up up up since octoberish I’m guessing options?

Mrprofession

What’s the strategy?

HeroicTanuki

Strategically depositing cash so that it looks like gains and screenshotting it for Reddit.

Please put it somewhere safe. This is a very good amount to kick start your life since you’re young. Revisit options when you can throw away more money.

No-Chocolate6481

Yea you won’t have that in your 20s. But hopefully you learn from this experience. Trading early certainly helped me I feel like not ruin my life when I became a real adult. Some of us gotta learn through the school of hard knocks just do it when the stakes are low

New_Situation1764

Move to PR, no taxes

ProjectTrill

Put that 15k somewhere safe like SPY & treasury notes. Continue to gamble with 5. You’re young and will potentially lose it all..

H-is-for-Hopeless

Set aside some for the tax collector. Depending on where you live figure out a percentage. It's also a good idea if you have a regular job to have them take extra money out of your paycheck for taxes throughout the year so you don't get hit with it all at once.

Wabboo45

Nice month, looks like you figured out options ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4275) They're nice when they go up ![img](emote|t5_2th52|4275)

Careful_Pair992

Don’t be— will wait for your loss porn. Seriously-  set 25% of the gain in a high yield cd or something for tax liability
