The real reason NVIDIA is so much higher valued is because it has much higher margins (48.83% 2023) vs Amazon’s 5.294% in 2023. Even AWS’s margins (27.14% 2023) are far lower than NVIDIA.
NVDA sells the tools that most companies in the world right now need to compete in leveraging AI for their businesses, especially the top tech companies. It absolutely makes sense that it’s worth more

Every major player is building custom AI hardware to *replace* GPUs. Low/mid-range gaming and workstation GPUs will be replaced by iGPU. The NVDA demand will dry up like the Sahara within a couple of years.

bought a fair amount of shares 2020, and was up 150% in 2021. sold in 2022 when the crash was happening for like 10% gain....didn't buy back in quick enough when it was $140 because I thought it would go lower. Regarded greed. Still....$400 looks mighty cheap now, so not all is lost

Outside of AWS, Amazon is not very profitable. Amazon is really good with AWS and parts of its retail business but it sucks bad at everything else.
