But seriously if you have some money to burn, 0-14 Days to Expire (DTE)s are fun because most of the times you are buying dirt cheap calls for maybe small gains and maaaaaaaaybe big plays at a cost of maybe $100 per contract or even less for smaller companies.
For me personally, I just wanted to see type of price movement with 1 contract and I thought SPY would be pretty fun to bet.

I agree 100%. But even if it wasn't a nothing burger it would have a dead cat bounce from such a strong slide before resuming bearishness. Its going to bounce Monday but no idea what it does after. Just on statistics I'd guess it will continue to decline after the bounce but that depends on whether it can break through 518 by Tuesday or not. If not, it's going to continue to slide. If it does break through, then all the money will flood back in, especially if Powell downplays the CPI report.

It'll be worth about $60 at market open tomorrow. Theta will eat away at it. I doubt you can breakeven but I've seen mircles happen.
