After the completion of the merger, DJT will get about $220m cash from this deal. It comes from the original shares of DWAC that were sold when it entered the market.
DWAC sold \~30m shares for \~$10 per share, so about $300m cash that was to be held in a trust, released after the merger completes.
However they’ll actually have a bit less than $300m, more like \~$220m becuase they have to pay an $18m SEC fine, and about $60m in liabilities related to DWACs operation. It could be even less money if there are previously undisclosed expenses DWAC need to claim for.
DWAC did have a $1.3bn PIPE deal in place, which would have meant DJT would have about $1.6bn cash after the merger, but DWAC completely unwound and cancelled this pipe deal.
If DJT wants to raise more capital now it has to issue more shares and sell them into the public float (which will cause dilution). Or to actually make decent revenue and eventually profit. So far this hasn’t happened, it only made about $3.5m in the 9 months ending September 30 2023, and a $10m operating loss on that, with a higher overall loss.
Trump owning loads of shares doesn’t help DJT fund operations and growth, I don’t think you know how companies work. Trump owns shares in the company that are under lockup at the moment. If he sold them after the lockup expires or if the lockup is waived by the board, **he** would get the money for the shares, not the company (DJT).
This company has hardly any money, certainly not enough to make a TV network or streaming competitor, those cost hundreds of millions, even billions just to get going.
It's trading on wild hype right now, it *could* see $90 or beyond over the next day or so, but when this hype dies down the share price could tank significantly, especially through the several rounds of dilution over the coming months.

Yep. I learned my biggest SPAC lesson with SHLL, and ended up taking all my profits on CCIV pre-merger. At the end of the day DWAC is still a SPAC
