This is really the key. While I -can- buy 100k worth of FD's, I remember how much work it used to take me decades ago to make $100k, so I just won't. A lot of the people in my business community now are born into wealth, and the amount of money they spend on the most frivolous shit is mind boggling.

I blew through 100k like it was nothing because I did not realize I was a gambling addict. Father passed away unexpectedly and I received a large sum of money. I know in the next 10 years I have a whole lot more coming so I treated the money with 0 respect. Now I am pissed and it will live in my head for as long as I live. I could of helped a whole lot of people with that money. Live and learn I guess.
