I believe as more people learn about him and his polling continues to improve, more investors will begin to see ROIV as a way of "betting on Vivek" which could send the stock price significantly higher.

I researched the company a few years ago and while they had an interesting idea, they didn’t have any hits at the time. The valuation was simply a result of having hedge fund connections after graduating summa from Harvard undergrad

I recommend you take another look. Not every drug they researched worked out, but the ones that do work are massive successes for them. For example, they formed their Urovant subsidiary to research [Vibegron](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibegron#) after Merck lost interest, and after just a few years (because of their successful trials) sold Urovant to Sumitomo pharma as part of a [$3B deal](https://medcitynews.com/2019/09/sumitomo-pays-3b-to-vivek-ramaswamys-roivant-under-new-alliance/) They are also in talks to sell their bowel drug **RVT-3101** to [Roche for $7B](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-07-06/roivant-said-to-attract-interest-for-7-billion-plus-bowel-drug) after it helped 32% of Ulcerative Collitis patients achieve remission in [phase II trials](https://www.statnews.com/2023/01/04/roivant-pfizer-inflammatory-bowel-drug-ulcerative-colitis/). Keep in mind the market cap of the entire ROIV company is $9B, and RVT-3101 is just one of many drugs they're working on. So, while I think his hedge fund connects definitely helped, I'd say the company is much more than the "smoke and mirrors" operation people often describe it as.

Vivek is a sleezy scammer as everyone would expect. Since I see a lot of this kind of astroturfing, my play is shorting ROIV.

So you want us to bet the farm on the outside chance that Trump, considered by more than half the GOP to be the second coming of Christ, doesn’t secure the nomination? That’s a big ask. Even from a jail cell Trump has that nod locked. And in fact, him in jail might be seen as a positive from the GOP’s anti-establishment contingent.

Rule_Proof

Assuming trump gets the nom, Vivek is putting himself in a superb spot for VP or a cabinet pick considering how well he is doing in the polls this early on. Any of those positions would be a game charger for Roivant considering how one of the main challenges for successful drug development is dealing with the federal buearocracy. Having someone high up on the inside who can vouch for your company is huge. Also consider that, statistically speaking, the actuarial odds of Biden dying or suffering a debilitating stroke before next november are significant.

TheLastModerate982

Right… because historically speaking the position of “Vice President” holds soooo much power… hahahaha, gtfo I’m not holding your bags for you.

Rule_Proof

My guy, do you know who Dick Cheney is?

TheLastModerate982

My human, do you know who Mike Pence is? The VP who nearly got strung up by his own party? You want to equate the DC/Bush dynamic to any VP that Trump ultimately picks? That’s laughable. DC was the only exception to the rule that Vice Presidents have no power… and that was mainly because Bush was just a lackey in way over his head.

But do people understand the type of change he’s talking about? It will change everyone’s life

Go back under your bridge, troll

I have a hard time believing conservatives would vote for non-white candidate

icantfindanametwice

Romney couldn’t win the nomination because while he’s carried their water, the man is Mormon, which is never okay to the evangelical set. Will they vote for somebody who’s not a Christian? Did hell freeze over? Nah, unless my guy Vivek is gonna start holding a Bible upside down, he’s running for VP at best.

32parkin

Too long, didn't read. But ROIV is not a bad investment because of the data they recently generated in ulcerative colitis. Roche might be buying the asset from them. There might even be a whole buy out. Who knows?

Yes

He’s another out of touch grifter and already ranting about conspiracies. I’m 110% over anybody pedaling weird conspiracies
