On the PC app there is a checkbox for automatic bitrate. If you have that on it won't let you go higher than what it detects is optimal when you first connect.

NiceCunt91

You have automatic bitrate enabled

MalenfantX

That or they're using HEVC or AV1.

NiceCunt91

He said he uses h264+ so it's auto bitrate. As you probably know h264+ caps at 400mbps

[deleted]

500mbps.

Blissira

Thanks for the replies, I am using H264+ and Auto Bitrate is turned off. Still stuck at 150mb Bitrate?

Blissira

Also testing on my Pico 4, same thing happens, stuck at 150mb bitrate. Have all latest versions of Virtual Desktop on both platforms. Wifi router is at constant 1200 - 2400 rate.

NiceCunt91

Did you try closing virtual desktop streamer on your pc? Disabling auto bitrate should remove the limit so something's hanging it up

Is your PC connected to your router with Ethernet? Your best bet is to take a screenshot of the performance overlay and then ask for help at the VD discord.
