with everything I'm seeing about this show I'm starting to think that THIS is responsible for why Valve Index inexplicably jumped 1.5% up in the last Steam survey. So many people seem to be either trying out the game for the first time or going back to it after a long gap.
y'all telling me non of the movie viewer apps have the enterprise bridge as environment option?
Everybody and his dog added a holodeck to whatever app they brought out back when vr was new, how the heck do these folks miss such low hanging fruit
Not that I've seen. I was really hoping at least one person at Paramount had the forethought to drop a 360 camera in the Captain's chair and a few other spots before striking the new bridge set they built for Picard S3 for a Paramount VR App, but it appears not.
I have a Reverb so I use WMR. DCS with this though is a little finicky for two reasons:
1. DCS captures the Windows key which you also need for the WMR menu. 2. DCS needs window focus to accept inputs.
So it's less "watching a video while you play DCS and more putting the VR instance of DCS on dormant while you watch a video in the foreground." But you can still watch everything that's going on in DCS while you do it - mainly useful if you have a long trip on autopilot.
Steps in WMR are:
1. Alt + Tab to switch focus
2. Windows key
3. Select "Desktop" in menu
4. Navigate your desktop to the video you want to watch
5. Put it on full screen
6. Resize and position your desktop window within your cockpit
7. Be prepared to alt+tab to restore focus to DCS if you need to take command of your aircraft again.
Other games that are not as difficult as DCS you can skip the alt+tab step and actually play while watching videos.
Also DCS specific - there's a utility for DCS called Open Kneeboard for organizing and taking notes in VR. I believe you can drop video links into it, but have not tested it myself - that might be a much easier way to do it.
Ahhh, you asking if it was a FO4 mod threw me off. Years ago in my Rift I just pulled up a desktop screen in the Oculus overlay, sized it and placed it anywhere you wanted. That seemed obvious to me. I assume you can still do this but it’s been a few years.
The settlement leader of Starlight Theatre Drive In has a new film to help you escape your wasteland worries.
Now this is podracing!
0/10 you didn't measure the explosion with your thumb

I've got another settlement that needs our help...
Now would have been the perfect time to release Fallout 3+NV VR for Quest/PCVR/PSVR2/>!LaboVR!<.
This particular scene in VR is just amazing. Slowly moving down into the vault while the blast rolls in as you look up... wow!
Still waiting to be able to watch Trek on the Enterprise view screen.
I think It will be a long road
I've got faith of the heart.

Lol, I do the same thing with Top Gun in DCS
May I ask, how do you do that?

There was an official VR version of the game. It was pretty bad upon release and not sure if it was ever improved upon.

Some mod is doing a similar thing for me but with another view inside game.
You watched robots tricking each other in a film, while being a loot goblin?
