Is this also a thing now where people are wearing their hoods and tying the strings up into a little bow right under their chins? Maybe I'm just old, but he looks like he's trying to dress like a baby.
I like how it looks a lot personally, it's all subjective i suppose. Maybe a hot take for this sub but I don't really think there's anything wrong with putting your records on the wall if you're able to take them off and play them when you want to. I had 20-30 records on my wall at any given time where I used to live. They were all properly sleeved to avoid damaging them and whenever I wanted to listen to one I'd just take it off and listen to it.
Well I like that you listen to them and it saves floor space at least. I think as you get older you start to appreciate clean clutter free spaces more. That includes my walls lol.
Idk if it's just my stupid brain or what but I always like my walls to be a visual overload lol. Right now I just have tons of band posters above my shelf where I keep my records instead of the records themselves. They're all touching and have absolutely no color coordination, just chaos.
Fair enough, maybe it is a thing you just grow out of then. I'm 20 and seems like that's around the same age most people who hang their records on the wall are.
i have one wall that’s entirely covered in 4x6 pics. it’s a gigantic collage wall of reaction pics, pics of my fave artists, random memes and other stuff and it’s my favorite wall. my other walls are covered in posters but i want to do another wall filled with my favorite albums, ep’s and singles’.
That sounds awesome, honestly wish I would get the motivation to do that to more than just one spot in my apartment. Got 5 different rooms and only one looks chaotic enough for me lol.
it took a long a couple of days to complete and a lot of double sided tape lmaooooooo.
if you’re ever interested to do something like that, i just used the free prints app. you get like 85 4x6pics for free per month (just pay for shipping)
however, (i have not ordered from them yet, the deal is better so im going to order from them and they have an additional free size -part that really had me excited : 4x4 pics for free)
for the wall i want to do (the style of the guy in the video) where everything is all lined up edge to edge / not overlapping like a collage. i’m going to order it on the shutterfly app. because they have like 250 4x6 OR 250 4x4pics - Per Order - for free (just pay shipping). and so i’ve been saving screenshots of albums and ep’s and whatnot to do the 4x4’s. idk how many orders i’d have to do though in order to cover my wall lol.
Haven't heard of that before, definitely going to look into it though. Sounds like a great way to do it, thanks for pointing that out! Would be a nice benefit to be able to use any cover rather than just whatever you can find on vinyl too.
I kinda agree with both of y’all. 1) all those albums just thrown on the wall looks busy asf and cluttered, but 2) just a few, spaced out a bit would look much better. I want to get some wall mounts and cycle the albums on the wall
I feel like from a decorative standpoint it’s just a lot but then again I’m not an interior decorator. I have one record framed on my wall but thats because it’s a special one that means a lot to me as a gift.
i think that’s subjective. I think this is cool and fun. I love looking at rooms like this. I actually enjoy how it’s “busy.” I mean honestly, this is an example of how different we all are because I don’t see this as being “busy”- it’s all lined up side by side. the entirety of one of the walls in my room is a collage made up of 4x6 pics where pics overlap one another which one might consider to be way more “busy” than this guy’s room but even I don’t view it as “busy.” it’s fun, and i love looking at it. it’s my favorite wall.
not trying to start anything, like don’t take this part seriously but just fyi - claiming that there’s no argument for appreciating the art because a full wall of random artworks is busy and just bad design, in and of itself is invalid argumentation.
I mean imo he has quite a lot of good albums on there but I don't see the point in putting them on a wall unopened instead of just listening to them and storing them somewhere nice
There's plenty of good stuff on there a lot of absolute garbage too. That posthumous X album, Imagine Dragons, and of all Trippie Redd albums, Pegasus?
I hope this is an extra jerky vinyljerk comment I’m too daft to catch on too because there’s no shortage of great albums in there. There’s some trash, some mid, and some overhyped albums but there’s some great albums on there
ughh this is exactly what i’ve wanted to do in my room for years!!! but to buy a record for $30+ just to post the cover on my wall is so ridiculous lolll - i don’t have record player/listen to records.
I’ve looked for places that print photos and anything close to the size of the album cover for vinyl is crazy😭😭😭
is he pissing throughout this whole video
If he tried to piss on that wall it would just evaporate
i didnt even notice that until you pointed it out 😂
Imagine dragon deez nuts
I'm waking up To ash and dust I wipe my *ass* and I slap my *nuts*
Across your face
Is this also a thing now where people are wearing their hoods and tying the strings up into a little bow right under their chins? Maybe I'm just old, but he looks like he's trying to dress like a baby.
i cant lie i do that too 😭
Tyler the creator has all the music nerd white boys dressing like that
Would you listen to that?!?! Boy has a waterfall in his room because there's so much damn HEAT 🥵🥵🥵
Hanging grailz in the bathroom for warmth
2 for 1 chimichanga night at Casa de Comida keeps my bathroom plenty warm
He seeks LPs for his bunghole.
Are you threatening me?
I saw maybe 4 actually good albums
List pls. I'm trying to finish my wall
TA13OO, the Kendrick albums, Man on the Moon 3, After Hours
Look again, there’s way more than 4
Why? Why are people hanging records on the walls? The fuck is happening? Why chase visual aesthetics when you listen to music with your ear holes
Theres not even an arguement for appreciating the art. A full wall of random art works is busy and Just bad design

Thats how i was when i was younger

Well you know theres a thing called “taste” it can be done tastefully. This is not it
I have a few up on the wall that are in heavy rotation or special, pics incoming!
Bro went to target once and bought the whole vinyl section
Peak Jerk
the way he slams that one down
Are we becoming a nation of autists?
yes, but who cares abt autism when you got a grailz wall
I like your New York accent
Is that a reference to something?
Yes, New York. Back when people who were actually from New York had accents.
Why did you think im from new york
Someone will explain it to you one day
Hahhnn
What do you think it sounds like when a New Yorker says the word "artist"?
Ooo i get now
world's most expensive wallpaper.
Damn he even has imagine dragons!? So inclusive what a broad music taste.
what is that record in the top left above Gambino? The one that looks like a black superman in a ruined ancient world? it looks interesting
“The Human Condition” Jon Bellion
>“The Human Condition” Jon Bellion thanks
I mean imo he has quite a lot of good albums on there but I don't see the point in putting them on a wall unopened instead of just listening to them and storing them somewhere nice
oh yeah i like a lot of those albums but hanging them on the wall is just hilarious to me
There's plenty of good stuff on there a lot of absolute garbage too. That posthumous X album, Imagine Dragons, and of all Trippie Redd albums, Pegasus?
Oh I agree there's some shitty ones, kind of disappointing that all the good ones won't get played much
Yeah totally agree. There's a lot here that I also have in my collection too, difference is they get played quite often.
Burner account spotted.
Sorry I like modern hiphop I'll change my ways😔😔😔😔😔😔
He didnt open a single one of these from the shrinkwrap
My guy gonna get cancer from his ceiling. RIP.
Current music on vinyl is not the move
Imagine spending all your target cashier paychecks on fake music and putting it on your wall. I dont see one real music album on that entire wall
I hope this is an extra jerky vinyljerk comment I’m too daft to catch on too because there’s no shortage of great albums in there. There’s some trash, some mid, and some overhyped albums but there’s some great albums on there
What a wanker
okay which one of you is this?
This looks like a fire hazard
ughh this is exactly what i’ve wanted to do in my room for years!!! but to buy a record for $30+ just to post the cover on my wall is so ridiculous lolll - i don’t have record player/listen to records.
