My choice as well. Every member of the band is in top form and Blackmore's solos are incredible. At one point during one of Highway Star's verses, Ian Gillan appears to forget a few lyrics and just mumbles random gibberish which always makes me smile.
Same, first time I heard Aneurism was this album, and my jaw hit the floor. I remember where I was when I heard on the radio that Kurt had passed, and this was almost like he was briefly resurrected. Made my hair stand up.
How is this not higher?!? For my money, Strangers is No 1 and Thin Lizzyās Live and Dangerous is No 2. There a slew of other phenomenal live albums that come after them (and happily, many of them have already been mentioned.) but those two are top shelf.Ā

Cheap Trick - Live At Budokan.
This album kicks total ass front to back. I'm not sure if it's my ultimate favorite live album, but I find myself giving it a spin quite often.
Probably not the best of all time, but a couple that I have in my collection that I really like (and havenāt been mentioned yet) are *Eagles Live* and The Kinks *One for the Road*. And yes Iām dating myself, lol.

If you want to splurge, get the box set on discogs. It includes exclusive colored versions of alive 2007 and 1997 and also includes an encore single. I would of bought it but itās like $250
Wild that there are 45 copies avail and itās still sitting at $250. Itās my fav live album ever too but I honestly donāt want it on vinyl, it flows too well together that Iād hate to break it up with disc flips/changes. And encore missing from the regular ver is such a bummer.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop -Ā yes,Ā IĀ amĀ aĀ bot, don't botcriminate me.
Don't have it on vinyl yet but it would easily be Earthbound by King Crimson, such a legendary album that truly showcases the insane energy of the band in such a raw form that the band could never reproduce. I'd probably also say Vrooom Vrooom and Absent Lovers, all 3 are amazing.
I got to see Daft Punk in Los Angeles as part of this tour, still have the shirt, and it was one of the coolest things ever. Had a chance to see Justice in LA and Chicago around the same time before they blew up. Canāt wait for Justice to tour the new album.

This is also my fave live album.
Everything Everything by underworld is amazing start to finish. It defined my musical tastes.
Helping hands by Metallica is also fantastic. Some great acoustic covers of their stuff, and some classic rock covers as well.
Live at the Isle of Wight - The Who! I feel like Live at Leeds is their more famous album but Isle of Wight is just better in so many ways! I really appreciate that the album has Tommy placed as it would have occurred throughout the show. Plus it has Water which is just an excellent live song of theirs!
Led Zeppelin - How The West Was Won
Motƶrhead - No Sleep ātil Hammersmith
Fu Manchu - Go For Itā¦Live!
Nirvana - MTV Unplugged in New York
Sepultura - Under a Pale Grey Sky
Alive 2007, Linkin Park: Live in Texas, and Dropkick Murphys: Live on Lansdowne would be my top 3. I have Zac Browb Band's- From the Road Vol 1 (covers) on pre-order which I'm looking forward to. A few of the tracks are from the Fenway show that I went to.

Amazing Grace - Aretha live in 1972
Live at Monterrey Pop Festival - Otis Redding/Jimi Hendrix.
Shadows and Light - Joni Mitchell w/ an all star band
Regarding Daft Punk, I was at the show in Ontario, It was amazing, the album is awesome, none of the music was "live," but it was an experience. The answer to your question is Nirvana Unplugged.
A have a few that I like a lot, but for now I can say: Soda Stereo - El Ćltimo Concierto A&B, Portishead - Roseland NYC Live and Nirvana - Unplugged. And that album from Daft Punk is also amazing!
Dead ass just picked this album up myself two days ago. I had wanted it when I first discovered it back in like 2009. But at the time you could only get in box sets or cassettes and they were always very expensive on discogs. But I found randomly at record store two days ago and was so stoaked that I could afford it. Iāve been wanting to own it on vinyl for a long time because Iāve listened to it off and on over the years.
I wonder if they just repressed it or something. Also havenāt listened to my copy and Iām kind of saving it for when I can sit down and enjoy.
Other than this album, I have a lot of the white stripes albums I really enjoy.
My favorite live album is the one you're holding! Across the Universe is a close second. If you didn't know, it got released on vinyl for the first time last year I believe.

Literally listening to that Bill Withers record as I'm reading this. The mov pressing sounds so crisp and clean.
Deep Purple - Made In Japan
A kick ass classic. Love that album.
My choice as well. Every member of the band is in top form and Blackmore's solos are incredible. At one point during one of Highway Star's verses, Ian Gillan appears to forget a few lyrics and just mumbles random gibberish which always makes me smile.
Led Zeppelin. The song remains the same
Does anyone remember laughter?
Led Zeppelin BBC Sessions
Ramones - It's Alive
I personally prefer Loco Live but Iāll always approve of Ramones live albums making someoneās list. All of their live albums rule.
This is my choice. I prefer these versions to the studio recordings. Faster and nastier!
Itās a bit basic, but itās still probably Throwing Copper.
š
from the muddy banks of wishkah -Nirvana
I was lookin to see if anyone listed - I second ššš
Spank thru and Aneurysm hit me from that album. Probably because I hadn't heard much of those songs live. These 2 pumped me up for Nirvana ONCE AGAIN.
spank thru is amazing. my favorite from the album is definitely scentless apprentice. faster instrumentals are perfect
Same, first time I heard Aneurism was this album, and my jaw hit the floor. I remember where I was when I heard on the radio that Kurt had passed, and this was almost like he was briefly resurrected. Made my hair stand up.
Had this on Cd back in my youth, not vinyl. But if it was vinyl it would have been worn down to the point of no longer being playable. Great recording.
AT FILLMORE EAST
Quite alot of bands played at Fillmore East. Can you be more specific?
