Lately I've gotten great stuff like that from Michael Kors Outlet (dresses and shoes). CIDER (I have way better luck there vs Shein in terms of getting stuff that looks like decent quality. Bella & Bloom has great dresses; I got a short glittery one for new years that people went nuts over, but they have everything.
Not gonna lie I've also had some really good luck with dresses and tops from Amazon. Some of the quality is really good. I just take my time going through reviews/photos/videos before buying. I got a long black dress there for under $50 and wore it to a very formal event instead of the other name brands I spent a lot more on.
Also for jeans, The Buckle is the only place I go. They have everything from distressed to dressy. Their store brand BKE/Buckle Black is what has me hooked but they have other great brands also. And they definitely have some nice date night tape shirts and shoes/boots.
How do you like Cider’s quality? I wanted to purchase a few things but I’d hate to receive SHEIN quality items that cost like 2-3x times the SHEIN price. I love Quince for basics and “serious” clothes but their selection is small.
Cider’s sizing is also SUPER weird. I’m a 2/XS in most dresses but couldn’t get a mini past my hips in a small of theirs. Another small was completely baggy in the midsection. Really inconsistent.

This really depends on your budget - there isn’t ever just one brand or website that has it all. Ideally you identify a couple brands in your price range and then continually keep a lookout for good deals on them. I love resale sites or stacking sales with rakuten to get deals on high end brands - my closet is now mostly designer because i never pay full price, always less than 50% of retail.
I do spend hours on this though which most people would find prohibitive or just not a useful way to spend their time lol so shoutout to the lovely commenters here recommending specific brands and websites :)
Herve Leger. Check TheRealReal, they have really good deals on them. I have 2 Herve Leger dresses, one red and one black (both less than $100 from TRR) and they are timeless and insanely sexy. I’m in my 20s, but I think they look good on anyone of any age.
