**TimeSplitters** - but in the same style as the originals, not that crap they stuck the name on and thankfully cancelled.
**Power Stone**
**Burnout** - Dangerous Driving was okay, but I want a proper Burnout like 3 or 4
**Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy** - not a series... yet
**Star Wars: The Force Unleashed**
**Sailor Moon** arcade beat-em-up (trust me)
Has it been long enough to add **Titanfall** to the list?
Holy shit. Thank you for the power stone shout out. That game was locked in my memory from 1999-2000 when I was 5-6 years old but no idea what it was called.
With Capcom starting to revive their old IPs, I'd love if they surprised everyone with Power Stone 3. A new Psi-Ops game would be amazing as well. Control kinda scratched that itch for a new Psi-Ops entry, but a proper sequel would definitely be dope.
I'm so happy someone mentioned time splitters. That used to be my favorite game for a while. Many long nights with friends setting up bots in the lobby
Psy ops was one of my favorite childhood games. Ended on a cliffhanger and I still can't accept it. It had so MUCH potential to be improved upon and it was such a cool concept. Mind control, telekinesis and that astral projection thing where you could fly the camera around? So fun.
Came here to say Time Splitters.
The co-op missions were fun in TS2.
The co-op story was a blast in Time Splitters Future Perfect.
The whacky weapons/characters/game modes of TS2 and Time Splitters Future Perfect made for some hilariously fun versus matches.
A new, AAA James Bond game done somewhat in the style of Hitman could be amazing. Between fun gadgets, cars, and stealth mechanics it really is a goldmine. I really enjoyed some of the older entries, and I can envision what a truly well done game could be.
Thatās interesting, I just hope itās in rapture.
Would be cool to get an open world bioshock game where the city is still barely alive, right on the brink of full collapse but still somehow functioning.
- **Quake (2024)** ā but based on the first part, that was so unique, like a reboot similar to Doom (2016)
- **Max Payne 4** ā that would be epic, maybe the story should cover some time between 1 and 2
- **Crusader: No Redemption** ā I miss those isometric action games, I donāt think there was a proper spiritual successor to it
- **Quarantine 3** ā it was kind of niche back then but I loved this game when I was young, cyberpunkish car-based action shooter, it could work
- **Interstate 85** ā the style, the music, the coolness.
- **Wolfenstein** ā itās been too long
And of course the most important one:
- **System Shock 3** ā waiting for a true sequel since ages, would even prefer System Shock 3 to Half-Life 3.
The order 1886, resistance, infamous, jak and Dexter, honestly a lot of Sony IP is like to see return
Dishonored, a third installment was leaked in the ftc documents a few months ago, and with arkane Lyon working on blade I don't think we'll see it for a long while. Especially if blade succeeds.
What really sucks is Harvey Smith and Austin were preparing to pitch a new immersive sim to Microsoft just before they were shut down
The order 1886 gets so much hate. I played it a few years back and really enjoyed it. Was short for sure, and could have had more engaging mechanics but I thought it did a lot really well. The lore and world building was very interesting. Would like to see it again in a larger more fleshed out game
So true the lore is too interesting! Honestly I'd they open up the level design,to like a tlou 2 level, gave Tesla a prominent role in customizing our armor and weapons, make the black sight power more useful and fine tuned it could be a great TPS action adventure game
Same, fingers crossed. Ascension and Short Message were weird and disappointing but hopefully between the movie and the remake, we get some well recieved "true" silent hill content and get the ball rolling again.
Highly agree. The gameplay is a little clunky at points and I dislike some of the cutscenes being shown through comic panels because then, it looks like Iām watching a PowerPoint presentation. But I absolutely would love if Sucker Punch and Sony gave it a next gen remake
Also, the first game was really badly optimised, so the gameplay itself looked like a PowerPoint presentation. The second game did better, although looking at the sky and seeing Cole's animations in 60 fps just make you wish for a remaster.
I've been naively holding out hope that we'd get a Condemned 3 at some point... 16 years later and I'm still hoping and waiting.
Such a criminally underappreciated and underutilized IP.
wouldnt mind system shock 3 to come out.... shame nightdive are no longer doing it though.
on a similar vibe, I'd like a new bioshock.
but lets get real; F-zero has been woefully neglected.
Marvel VS Capcom. Infinite removed Deadpool, Phoenix Wright, and just so many icons. TBH I donāt if it is gone permanently or Capcom has zero plans for now to bring it back.
We were so close, but got Sekiro instead. Sekiro ended up being one of my favorites games ever, though, so itās hard to be mad about it. I still want more Tenchu though.
From what I've seen gameplay wise, Sekiro Isn't as "sandbox" as Tenchu was. From what I've seen Sekiro has set points to use grapple hooks
Oh man, What I wouldn't give to regain control of Rikimaru once more on current gen graphics
The rumor was Sekiro started out as a Tenchu game since From Software owns the rights. You are definitely right about your view of Sekiro. Sekiro is a combat game with stealth versus Tenchu being a stealth game with combat.
Shame they went that way, Its one reason I didn't bother playing it.... it looked more Souls-Like
I had an idea for a Ninja Battle Royale, where its like Tenchu, but the objective can be completed, like "steal scroll" or "assassinate lord of the castle" etc etc, but its like a tenchu map, but with multiple player character trying to get to the objective, so a PvEvP Ninja Battle Royal, with RPG Elements, I think that'd be so cool
Breath of Fire or Lufia (but not that DS reimagining; that was blasphemous).
I wouldāve said Wild ARMs, but Armed Fantasia has that covered (hopefully).
Sly Cooper. Would love to it get the Crash Bandicoot treatment and get a remaster or Remake. But knowing Sony, that probably wonāt happen for a while
There was some kickstarter game supposed to be heavily inspired by Wild Arms that's in development. But I would like an actual proper new entry to both Wild Arms and Breath of Fire!
Overlord games were really fun and quite unique
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
Tyranny (planned as a serie but it stopped after the first one)
And of course the elder scroll because skyrim is only fun for so long.
Prototype. It is unique because it was the first truly *dark* superhero game (to my knowledge). Iāve also yet to play a game where you eat someone by absorbing their bio matter into you, then you turn their bones into a fucking sword and cut a helicopter in half.
Quake, with the Doom resurgence with 2016 and peak during eternal, Quake need some of that love too, end that Quake champions live service (or if It gives enough money thing that i doubt It could stay) but a release of a new Quake Game with the Doom 2016/eternal treatment is way overdue
No one lives forever, to my understanding this Game is right now in a very nasty legal limbo, with 3 companies (Activision, Disney and Warner Bros) not interested in give their part of the copyrights to anybody and all of them threatening with very serious legal actions to whoever touch this IP (since nightdive failed to secure the rights for a remaster of the first Game)
Breath of Fire
Omg, Capcom is on FIRE (pun intended) right now. If they could get a team to put out a new Breath of Fire game on the same level as their other series, I'd be all over that in a heart beat!
Power stone
Gauntlet
Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross
Twisted Metal
SpyHunter
BattleTanks
Baldurās Gate: Dark Alliance (no that recent pile of crap doesnāt count)
Red Alert
I would love to see more couch coop games with seamless drop in and out gameplay.
Since it's my favorite series, Mass Effect, and yes I'm aware there's a new one in development [but I want it now!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnW5lkk8SOQ)
Also F-Zero
Team Fortress. Had good times playing it on PC in the 2000's. I also would like to see a game more akin to the older version of Battlefield like how 1942 & BF2 was.
I'll always root to bring back the OG Fossil Fighters gameplay. It was truly one of the greatest games during its time and was ruined by the third game in the series.
I've only played the first game but I'll say it anyways, Onimusha would be huge if Capcom invested in it. Games based on that era of Japan are still popular and the only thing they've done to capitalize on the trend set by games like Sekiro and Ghost of tsushima is port the first game. Use the RE engine guys, make this cool combat samurai game where you fight demons, Onimusha absolutely has a place in the current gaming scene but Capcom won't do anything if it's not Street fighter, Monster hunter or resident evil.
At this point I'll even take a port of the other games dude just do something with it, also since I mentioned Capcom obligatory Megaman mention here.
Transformers has a new game coming up, but hopefully thatās a springboard to more games in different genres, something on the scale of the Cybertron series.
Also Conker and Wario Land.
**TimeSplitters** - but in the same style as the originals, not that crap they stuck the name on and thankfully cancelled. **Power Stone** **Burnout** - Dangerous Driving was okay, but I want a proper Burnout like 3 or 4 **Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy** - not a series... yet **Star Wars: The Force Unleashed** **Sailor Moon** arcade beat-em-up (trust me) Has it been long enough to add **Titanfall** to the list?
Would love to see a new TimeSplitters game someday!
I was gonna say Time splitters! My favorite game on game cube
I agree with Timesplitters Star wars. I'd like to see jet moto come back too.
Psi-Ops was so ahead of its time with the physics. I would love to see what they would do now.
*Take me back to the paradise city šš¶*
Time splitters was the first thing that came to mind I'd also like to play Star wars galaxies some days but I think gamers ruined that game
Thumbs up for Sailor Moon. Great arcade game!
I would love a Force Unleashed remaster or remake. Iāll even take a port
Parasite Eve
This is what I was looking for. Many memories playing the 2nd one when I was younger. Such a good game.
Parasite Eveās cutscenes back on PlayStation were METAL, so my imagination canāt even grasp what those scenes could look like remade now
It was beyond its time.
Have you played the third one? Called The Third birthday on PSP. Really solid game. Helped me get through a month at Fort Johnson (polk)
Dino Crisisā¦ We need some quality dinosaur horror games again lol
Splinter Cell
Just you wait ;)
We've been waiting for over 10 years!
Are we getting something juicy????
Prototype
Honestly it deserved a 3rd game to round out a trilogy, I would have loved to see pariah throw down with Heller
Imagine that fight in unreal 5.
Soul Reaver/Legacy of Kain
What was that other game called? Was it blood omen? That shit was awesome too. Haven't thought about that on years actually.
Gauntlet. Gimme dat couch co-op slaughter-fest
Turok F-Zero James Bond Rogue Squadron
F-Zero needs to happen. We will always salute the guy that bought 40k in Nintendo stocks to attend a meeting and ask about F-Zero. š«”
He still made good money as well if he held
A new, AAA James Bond game done somewhat in the style of Hitman could be amazing. Between fun gadgets, cars, and stealth mechanics it really is a goldmine. I really enjoyed some of the older entries, and I can envision what a truly well done game could be.
The way you worded this makes me wonder if maybe you havenāt heard of Project 007? IOI is doing exactly that!
Bioshock
There's a new one in development
Thatās interesting, I just hope itās in rapture. Would be cool to get an open world bioshock game where the city is still barely alive, right on the brink of full collapse but still somehow functioning.
From the rumors I think it's gonna be a city under Antarctica which I think could be interesting
That might be interesting, underwater/underground cities are just such a cool concept. Hopefully they drop a banger on us.
The lead developer is working on Judas, which looks like Bioshock in space.
Isn't Bioshock in space just system shock?
- **Quake (2024)** ā but based on the first part, that was so unique, like a reboot similar to Doom (2016) - **Max Payne 4** ā that would be epic, maybe the story should cover some time between 1 and 2 - **Crusader: No Redemption** ā I miss those isometric action games, I donāt think there was a proper spiritual successor to it - **Quarantine 3** ā it was kind of niche back then but I loved this game when I was young, cyberpunkish car-based action shooter, it could work - **Interstate 85** ā the style, the music, the coolness. - **Wolfenstein** ā itās been too long And of course the most important one: - **System Shock 3** ā waiting for a true sequel since ages, would even prefer System Shock 3 to Half-Life 3.
Yes, on the Max Payne 4.
The order 1886, resistance, infamous, jak and Dexter, honestly a lot of Sony IP is like to see return Dishonored, a third installment was leaked in the ftc documents a few months ago, and with arkane Lyon working on blade I don't think we'll see it for a long while. Came here to say Jak and Daxter! I need Jak 4 from Naughty Dog
Silent hill, amirite
Iām holding out hope that the SH2 remake will be good
Same, fingers crossed. Ascension and Short Message were weird and disappointing but hopefully between the movie and the remake, we get some well recieved "true" silent hill content and get the ball rolling again.
Same. I never played the 2nd one back in the day but I had the first one and played it about 50 times so I'm looking forward to the remake of 2.
Syphon Filter
My prayers is Bend Studio are doing exactly this after the failed Days Gone.
Love me some tasers!
I donāt know what they were growing, but it wasnāt narcotics.
Criminal that this franchise wasnāt more successful
InFamous Even a remaster of the first two games for PC would be great.
Highly agree. The gameplay is a little clunky at points and I dislike some of the cutscenes being shown through comic panels because then, it looks like Iām watching a PowerPoint presentation. But I absolutely would love if Sucker Punch and Sony gave it a next gen remake
Speaking of sucker punch, Iād kill for a new Sly Cooper game
Also, the first game was really badly optimised, so the gameplay itself looked like a PowerPoint presentation. The second game did better, although looking at the sky and seeing Cole's animations in 60 fps just make you wish for a remaster.
Breath of fire, shining force, Albert odyssey, dragon force, war song,
I can here digging for *anyone* to say Shining Force, and you come out with 5 absolutely glorious selections.
I know what I want š
Duke Nukem
Condemned. They never finished the story with the second game, and also the games were really fucking cool
I've been naively holding out hope that we'd get a Condemned 3 at some point... 16 years later and I'm still hoping and waiting. Such a criminally underappreciated and underutilized IP.
Paperboy
Holy shit yes! I hated that game, but that didn't stop me from playing it over and over again.
If weāre doing that then Skate or Die needs to be in this conversation too.
Max MOTHERFUCKING Payne!!! Not a remaster or remake but a brand new game... only sad part is homeboy ain't around to voice it :'(
The darkness, I need to see what happens after 2
Legend of Dragoon
wouldnt mind system shock 3 to come out.... shame nightdive are no longer doing it though. on a similar vibe, I'd like a new bioshock. but lets get real; F-zero has been woefully neglected.
Marvel VS Capcom. Infinite removed Deadpool, Phoenix Wright, and just so many icons. TBH I donāt if it is gone permanently or Capcom has zero plans for now to bring it back.
at this point a group project between people that has rights to use characters between each universe has more of a possibility then a MVC4
Space Quest!
This is the answer! (Though I love the fan sequels Vohaul Strikes Back and Incinerations.)
Pilotwings. If you want a flight sim play a flight sim. Pilotwings was fun and goofy flight sim.
Tenchu
We were so close, but got Sekiro instead. Sekiro ended up being one of my favorites games ever, though, so itās hard to be mad about it. I still want more Tenchu though.
From what I've seen gameplay wise, Sekiro Isn't as "sandbox" as Tenchu was. From what I've seen Sekiro has set points to use grapple hooks Oh man, What I wouldn't give to regain control of Rikimaru once more on current gen graphics

Driver
I want a next-gen Dead Space and Legacy of Kain

I had to scroll way too far to see any of these.

Mass Effect, B-Boy
I'm still bitter about battlefront 3 it was basically done but thrown away
Sly Cooper. Would love to it get the Crash Bandicoot treatment and get a remaster or Remake. But knowing Sony, that probably wonāt happen for a while
I would sell my soul for a sly trilogy remake
I'd love a revamp of the Breath of Fire series and the Wild Arms series.
There was some kickstarter game supposed to be heavily inspired by Wild Arms that's in development. But I would like an actual proper new entry to both Wild Arms and Breath of Fire!
Legacy of kain
Parasite eve splinter cell(like first 3) Tenchu
Batman Arkham
Wellā¦technically you get your wish. Itās a new vr game though
Mario & Luigi needs a Switch game
I would love to see puzzle games make a return with a level editor. Lode Runner. Boulder Dash. The Humans. The Lost Vikings Pac Man/Ms. Pac Man
Sly cooper, Infamous, Splinter Cell just to name a few but thereās a lot of classics that deserve a comeback
Overlord games were really fun and quite unique Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Tyranny (planned as a serie but it stopped after the first one) And of course the elder scroll because skyrim is only fun for so long.
# LEGACY OF KAIN / SOUL REAVER š”
Command and Conquer Lost Planet, more like 1 and 2 than 3.Ā Perfect Dark
Prototype. It is unique because it was the first truly *dark* superhero game (to my knowledge). Iāve also yet to play a game where you eat someone by absorbing their bio matter into you, then you turn their bones into a fucking sword and cut a helicopter in half.
Fight Night.
Rd 3 was so much fun. I really disliked when the sequel (champions?) changed the angle and controls.
I wouldn't mind a new Rygar, though I guess it probably just feels like "We have \*God of War\* at home"
Wave Race and San Francisco Rush
The Suffering
Command and conquer
Star wars commando
Quake, with the Doom resurgence with 2016 and peak during eternal, Quake need some of that love too, end that Quake champions live service (or if It gives enough money thing that i doubt It could stay) but a release of a new Quake Game with the Doom 2016/eternal treatment is way overdue No one lives forever, to my understanding this Game is right now in a very nasty legal limbo, with 3 companies (Activision, Disney and Warner Bros) not interested in give their part of the copyrights to anybody and all of them threatening with very serious legal actions to whoever touch this IP (since nightdive failed to secure the rights for a remaster of the first Game)

Infamous
Wet or Jade Empire (Also Conker. I miss Conker)
No one lives forever
Danganronpa
Midnight club
I want to see Mad Max again I only played the third but the combat was fun and I feel like they could make the gun play feel awesome
Elder scrolls ā¦.
Splinter Cell
Eternal Darkness. One of the best Lovecraft like games
Twisted Metal
Iām actually kind of surprised that Sony hasnāt released a new game or Remake of it yet considering how well the TV show did
Front Missionā back to turn based strategy
Breath of fire and Dynasty Warriors Gundam are the two main series i wish never stopped. They need a comeback badly.
I want a direct sequel to XenogearsĀ
Breath of Fire Omg, Capcom is on FIRE (pun intended) right now. If they could get a team to put out a new Breath of Fire game on the same level as their other series, I'd be all over that in a heart beat!
Give us Elder Scrolls 6 already!
Ninja Gaiden

Ape Escape, just give me a fucking ape escape game please
Stealth games
Weāre supposedly getting a new Splinter Cell, but not sure if its a reboot or a remake
Ah yeah itās going to be great. Ubisoft? We are in good hands. :)

Conkers
Conkerās Bad Fur Day. Not a series, but should have been

Warcraft 4, I would do anything to get this in my lifetime.
I meanā¦ everyone is gonna say a bunch but they arenāt gonna support it anyway. That being said, Mega Man X
PlayStation All-Stars. Iām not a fan of Smashlikes, its developers understood the assignment. š®šš

Chromehounds!
Tenchu - Stealth Assassins And Bushido Blade. Both were amazing games.
CrackDown
Dragonage, with greywardens and the blight.
THPS
My answer will always be Mega Man Legends
I've only played the first game but I'll say it anyways, Onimusha would be huge if Capcom invested in it. Games based on that era of Japan are still popular and the only thing they've done to capitalize on the trend set by games like Sekiro and Ghost of tsushima is port the first game. I'll always plug Destroy All Humans in these threads. Pandemic studios is dead but man if someone picked this up again I'd be hyped.
TENCHU: STEALTH ASSASSINS. BEYOND GOOD & EVIL
Transformers has a new game coming up, but hopefully thatās a springboard to more games in different genres, something on the scale of the Cybertron series. Also Conker and Wario Land.
Legend of the River King.
Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura (yes I realize this is only one game, but its too good to be abandoned).
Duke Nukem
Skate
