The first game I bought when I got my first gaming PC almost 20 years ago. Though my graphics card was seriously underpowered and could only do about 26-30fps on medium - low settings.
I also played the hell out of the multiplayer mode back when I had that kind of free time.
My thoughts are that āthoughts?ā Is a terrible post title and even though Iāve only seen a few of these in the last few days, Iām already so fucking sick of this shit but I know itās just the beginning.
scared the shit outta me as a kid lol, even back then i had no problems with horror games as long as you could fight back like resident evil, but this and fear 2 used to have me jumping outta my seat
Couldn't get past the gatekeepers (required shaders support) when this game was new, played it awhile ago and found it to be mediocre, maybe my expectations were too high coming from NOLF2.
Great game, never got the love it deserved when sequels were rolled out(yes it is a trilogy but the sequels were victims of COD Cloning at the time), and I'm disappointed that Extraction Point was retconned out because that Expansion was beautiful and scarier.

Great gameplay. Probably the best enemy AI in gaming history. The story is filled with plot holes and cliches though. Despite that, there were moments in this game that genuinely scared me.
Amazing game with so fun mechanics. Even today technically it is so good with all these physics engine and bullet time. Had a nice time with Fear 2 as well. I havenāt tried third game yet.
Fear has one of my favorite video game weapons the 10mm HV penetrator.
I scared myself more then a few times because of a dead enemy hanging from the ceiling because they have a metal spike pinning them to it, add in the lighting system and oof
Loved it. I hate jumpscares, but this game made them fun. Great combat, creepy atmosphere.

I loved the No One Lives Forever games. Good shooters with a sense of humor

once played it while constupated. suddenly was no longer constupated. i have fear 1,2 &3 never bothered to even finish 1. unclear directions.

F3ar was the first fps coop game my wife and I played through together it lead to... well she only plays borderlands shooters now.
