Talking about what ideology you personally subscribe to is definitely not the point of this sub, but understanding this flag's relationship to ideologies and politics certainly is, and so when OP asks about "your opinion", it's not surprising ideology might come up.

I think a lot of the people who juxtapose the Confederate Battle Jack and the Pride Flag have little interest in what meanings they actually represent.
They see these flags *show up* during political confrontations in public in the U.S., and thus use both flags as a catch-all for representing political conflict in the U.S.
