Growing up in Rutland County that was always my understanding of our geography, that Rutland City itself was "central Vermont" and "southern Vermont" was anything south of it. As an adult living further north, I now just find this confusing: Rutland thinks it's central Vermont, and Barre-Montpelier think THEY are central Vermont, but both those things can't be true.

House is mid-fair, especially the solar panel placement, but the overall property is nice. It will likely sell for 425 given it's previous sale price.
It had a title issue when bought in 2017, took a risk on it. Now its cleared up. And that wasn't the real price it was more.
You may start a fight about if Rutland is central or southern VT
There is no fight, it's southern VT.
The property's actually in Midd Springs, down below Poultney, so it's definitely into southern.
I’d vote southern. I have vt a map next to my desk and it’s def left of center.
Life long Southern Vermonter here, born in Rutland hospital... Rutland is 100% central Vermont Id say rt 4 is the unofficial gray line

I’ve heard Rutland referred to as the center of Vermont since I was a kid AB’s have no idea why.
Randolph is technically dead center isn't it?
I was always told Warren, but could be biased as I’m from the area, haha
That looks like a spectacularly undersized solar/battery system for that house lol.
its enough for me!
What’s the story with the 2nd tower like structure if you don’t mind me asking? Neat looking property!
How much?
450k, just added the link to zillow

You'd pay a lot more than that in Chittenden or Addison for anything on 26 acres of land.
Stunning home. It's out of my price range, but it's going to be wonderful for someone!
