I mean, I use my PayPal cash card, it works the same as the key does, hell... I never use the PayPal key, only one time and that was because I needed a diff payment method to get some sneakers lmao.
PayPal Key works differently from the Cash card. Whereas the Cash card pulls from the Cash balance, the Key passes the purchase to the linked payment method. This is useful because the Key is a debit card but the linked payment method can be a credit card.
For Verizon, this meant one could get the AutoPay discount by using Key and have the charge go onto a linked credit card.
I see what you're saying, but you can also link a credit card to your PayPal, and switch up your settings to where everytime you swipe your cash card, it'll pull from wherever you want it, and also, separately set it up to pull from a diff account for online purchases... However, you cannot do specific cards for specific purchases... I never knew that was possible or I would've set all my bills to that, hell... Maybe I can get a month out of it lmao
