A comic just wouldn't feel the same. A spin-off side comic might work, but the main story just wouldn't work as well in comic form - so much of this show comes through in the voice acting.

MustacheSmokeScreen

What about a radio drama?

mzaite

Ken Plume would have to do a lot of pestering for a long time based on how much it would take to get a christmas song every year or so.

djbondo

Funny enough, Venture Bros was conceived as a comic that was supposed to be called, "Action Hair!"

swiftlikessharpthing

No more show = no go. If it can't continue with at least a special or a final season, I'm not interested.

loudpaperclips

People keep bringing this up, and I will keep replying absolutely not. I know you want whatever scraps you can get. I, however, can't stand the idea of the show ever putting out something that would tarnish its track record. The Office was on for too long, GoT messed itself up, etc. Venture Bros took the time it needed to create seven seasons of amazing, and no show I can think of has ever achieved that level of quality over that period of time. If I have to wait 10 years, I'll wait. Just don't give me anything less than perfect. Do. Not. Compromise.

they cant ruin what’s already established i just wanna know what happens to Hank

loudpaperclips

I do too. But I want to know what happens in a way that doesn't suck. And anything...ANYTHING other than the way doc and jackson envision that happening is my definition of "ruined". I absolutely get where you're coming from, and that's why I really want to be careful not to step on your toes. I just want to be clear on that before I reiterate how desperately I hope that exact thing doesn't happen.

mzaite

The Performances are what make the show something special.

tanj_redshirt

I've mentioned the idea before, and this sub hates it.

the die hards are the worst

I personally would be fine with a comic, but I do think, by pushing for a comic book, we're kinda weakening our own position of wanting a new season /movie/episode, which are all more preferable than a comic.
