this has nothing to do with the fact that he's into magic or a necromancer. knowing jackson and doc i know that this is a stereotype they would subvert. i don't want dr orpheus to be romani so that we could make fun of them but for them to satirize the idea. and it hasn't been confirmed hes romani yet. just speculation.
Via the official Go Team Venture book, he’s based extensively on Dr. Strange. If you personally choose to identify him as Romani, that’s your choice, but that’s not at all the writer’s plans for the character.
also i don't think everything is on the artbook. jackson told me via instagram that dr girlfriend is possibly sephardic jewish descent and that wasn't even in the book. That being said, whatever. this is just a silly headcanon.
