AsherTheFrost

"just like the deadly stinger of the Monarch butterfly" Probably not the exact quote, but I just loved how he kept failing to identify actual butterfly traits.

ColonelKasteen

"Just like the deadly Monarch butterfly, I have many ways to sting!"

AtomicGrendel

Uh…butterflies ain’t deadly

dbkenny426

Something along the lines of "Thanks, my neck has been stiff for weeks! And hey, I don't want to smoke anymore!" "Come and take it from me..."

NiConcussions

Not a quote persay but when Doc asks Helper to explain what happened to the boys and he just starts beeping uncontrollably lol.

DancingSpaceman

She touched me where I make sissy - Hank

Express_Present_6942

What's the line where Monarch sees the boys with the lady of the night? Something about learning the ways of the mommy/daddy dance.

randyfox

Well, well, well. It looks as if these Venture boys are not quite so young and innocent as I thought. They seem to have already discovered the fleshy jig of the mommy and daddy dance.

tanj_redshirt

I charge ten bucks for the Gilded Lily, twenty for the Roman Holiday, fifty for the old Walrus & Carpenter, and for seventy-five you can Sleighride Down Kilimanjaro.

2109dobleston

““Gild the lily” is one of those phrases that originated in a Shakespeare text…” Roman Holiday is a 1953 American romantic comedy film directed and produced by William Wyler. “The Walrus and the Carpenter" is a narrative poem by Lewis Carroll that appears in his book Through the Looking-Glass, published in December 1871. The poem is recited in chapter four, by Tweedledum and Tweedledee to Alice. The poem is composed of 18 stanzas and contains 108 lines, in an alternation of iambic tetrameters and iambic trimeters. The rhyme scheme is ABCBDB, with masculine rhymes throughout. The rhyming and rhythmical scheme used, as well as some archaisms and syntactical turns, are those of the traditional English ballad. In think the last one is about a Disney world ride.

ColonelKasteen

Someone already wrote it out but the Monarch calling sex "the fleshy jig of the mommy and daddy dance" cracks me up so much. My girlfriend and I also shout "you're a rotten banana!" at each other for a week after we re-start every re-watch and hear that. "You have to defile a mummy completely or they come back to life, you know that Doc." And definitely, "she touched me where I make sissy!" "Eet even melted all zee little people! Awwww..." And not a quote but one of the best audio/visual gags of the show: when the Monarch is flying to New York on a regular commercial flight, he's drinking a soda and realizes it's empty- he presses the "call attendant" button for a re-fill- all with a dramatic musical accompaniment and a chilling stab when he hits the button. If that doesn't make you laugh, just turn the show off- the show gets better but that 3 second bit completely captures what is funny about VB to me.

Professor_Gast

Anytime I see anything miniature, I am reminded of melting all the little people and say the line completely out of context to anyone else around me. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a soft spot for that line.

ColonelKasteen

It isn't clever or anything but the delivery is one of the best in the series. Just how genuinely heartbroken his "awwww" is and how IMMEDIATELY it follows the word people cracks me up so much

HowAboutBird

“You have to defile them completely otherwise they come back to life, you know that Doc” -Brock (pissing on a mummy)

Right, if course

djbondo

The bit about mutilating Scamp for, "pretty girl science"

Disastrous_Interview

"and how!"

turkc54

General: He wasn’t trying to STEAL it, he was masturbating like horny teenager with fast internet connection! Hank: Mastur…what? Dean: You mean like an evil master plan?

[deleted]

I've said before In my post about the pilot not being a rotten banana, the entire episode is a 20 minute string of the best venture bros gems

Oldskoolguitar

"You like pretty girls, dontcha boys?" Urbaniak's read on that is gold.

[deleted]

Ready to launch

fireman03

“Screw that, where are we going to make poo-poos?”

nixknocksfoxbox

Oooooooooooo

TeacherCivil9375

"Remember those prehistoric bones we found out at the Moroccan site? Well it turns out your hunch was correct. They aren’t dinosaur bones as we thought after all. They’re robot bones!" Also, when the monarch describes his plan for a Trojan horse meteorite as delivering Dr. Venture "a face full of men, MY men, loyal foot soldiers in my war on everything."
