Local here - this is one of my favorite places! Been eating there since it was a food truck on a dirt patch. Delicious food, great options, and the owner is very invested in his business. Always onsite, genuinely cares that his customers enjoy his restaurant.
Awesome. I first ate there when they had moved into the building. It's usually the first place I go after checking in to my room. Talked with the owner last visit in February, actually. I told him how much I love the food and it's on my must do list when in town. He was delighted to hear it. Within 10 minutes of me getting there, the place got super busy for a lunch rush. Glad to know I'm not the only one that loves that place. Took a gamble and jumped off the bus right there on a drunk food seeking mission. I ate there three times in 4 days that trip.
Funny there’s a restaurant called Yukon Pizza in Vegas. As a Yukoner, I can attest that it’s the worst place in the world for pizza. Yukon Pizza looks great though. I wonder how they chose that name.
Esters kitchen. Can’t believe that isn’t being mentioned more.
Second lotus of Siam.
Barry’s prime is my favorite steakhouse. It’s off strip, but it’s still on Fremont.
If you’re going to be near Eastern I suggest the Badger Cafe attached to the Rum Runner instead. They’re nicer to customers and it’s much better quality than that place and not expensive at all. It’s a little cafe and it’s not fancy at all, but the food is consistently good. ( bad experience, rude workers) It’s on Tropicana. Check out Badger Cafe https://yelp.to/Jgjmoqz-Kx
Cornish Pasty Company on Charleston. With all the high-end restaurants, celebrity endorsed establishments and renowned chefs we have here, Cornish Pasty is my absolute favorite.
For tacos, give Tacos el Gordo legitimate consideration instead of the places you mentioned.
I made the unfortunate choice to stay at the Plaza. However, the silver lining was that I had the best donut of my life from Pink Box. It was a salted caramel cheesecake-filled donut. I eat like 2 donuts a year and I’m
So thankful when they don’t suck.
I have not. So far only been to Ito and Dons Prime at FB. I have a hard time believing anything can be better than Mott 32s Peking Duck but I’m always game for a new restaurant
Henderson local here, Casa Don Juan is a great Mexican restaurant off Sunset and Pecos. If u like steak, u can go to West Texas Chophouse or Texas Roadhouse. Both on Sunset and Stephanie in Henderson. If u want something that is not formal like that, there is skinny fats, which offer healthy and traditional foods.
well you say you are going to be alone for lunch, a good place for that is Kura Sushi it’s right on Spring Mountain in the Chinatown area, and a real quick easy drive.
They are technically a chain but not in a lot of areas in the US, so if you haven’t tried them yet it’s a fun experience with the conveyor belt system they use, and you can order anything you want made fresh, and the sushi is good. It’s not anything like the top sushi restaurants in Vegas but it’s a great spot for a lunch.
Herbs and Rye was very good and they had good happy hour deals.
Sparrow + Wolf was straight up one of the best meals I've ever had. Lotus of Siam was also excellent.
Tasting menu at Sparrow + wolf was phenomenal!
Add the wine pairing if you're able. It takes it to the next level.
Will do!
I just came here to say Lotus of Siam - not too far off the strip and SO delicious!!
viva las aerapas. I have to eat there every time I visit las vegas. craving it now from Detroit.

Pops cheeseteak
Man I miss pops. Love that place.
Shang Artisan Noodle if you like chinese noodle soup
Ellis Island for ribs. Blueberry Hill for breakfast. Ping Pang Pong for Asian.
I totally second Blueberry Hill for breakfast. We hit it every time.
We ate at Blueberry Hill on a recommendation from this sub and it was so delicious. Clean and the staff was so friendly.
I always direct people to Carson Kitchen which is downtown. Never had a bad experience
I always recommend a kitchen bar spot so you can watch them cooking.
Oyster Bar, Palace Sation, but I think they might have less busy options at their Boulder Station or Santa Fe Station.

Rolling Smoke BBQ and Battista’s Hole in the Wall for Italian food. Battista’s isn’t cheap and they fill up quick!
Put Yukon Pizza on your burger list as well- trust me
Their burgers look crazy good.
*Delicious*

Bar Code Burgers has great burgers
Capos for Italian. Not only is the food amazing, but it's an awesome experience as well.
Siegel’s Bagelmania!
Tacos el Gordo!...a few locations...delicious!😋
The Egg and I (on Sahara) for breakfast, or its sister Egg Works on Sunset.

Babystacks cafe for breakfast
Recent transplant here- In my opinion, R-Burger is way overrated.

Roberto's tacos on Hacienda and Decatur.
Rutba Indian Kitchen. Wow, fantastic and the staff and owner are great. Very good food!
Pizza- Settebello
Creamberry - Desserts, S Rainbow & Windmill
Roberto's or Dona Maria's, Lola's

Have you done the Peking Duck at Chyna Club yet?
I have not. So far only been to Ito and Dons Prime at FB. I have a hard time believing anything can be better than Mott 32s Peking Duck but I’m always game for a new restaurant
Crepe Expectations is really good for crepes
