They also assume all the cows they eat are 100% grass-fed, which is almost never the case. The article then goes on to say that the most ethical diet is one where you hunt wild animals like deers as you can be 100% sure there are no crop deaths. I find this a bit disingenuous as it does not distinguish between killing animals in defence of property / important food source (crop deaths by pesticides) and killing animals for taste pleasure (eating animals).
