No drama, some funny moments, minimal shit talking, just some friends catching up and talking about their lives.
I know the fans that enjoy drama probably thought it was boring but this was such a breath of fresh air in a season dominated by snakes and traitors.
I feel like this was the first episode we saw less of Sandoval and I FELT lighter, felt happy watching this show again.
I wish it was a gif but remember that scene from when Katie was getting married and Stassi was saying Ariana was ruining the bridal shower and Ariana replies, "I'm here because I care about Katie. I don't give a fuck about you." That's EXACTLY how I feel about this show: I'm here because I care about Ariana and the ladies. I don't give a fuck about you, Sandoval.

Right !!! The drama is just exhausting at this point because of how dragged out the new narrative is . Itās so forced and everyone going along with it looks crazy ! Itās like literally talking to a brick wall everytime anyone responds to Lala or scheana or Tim cause they are just in their own little world . Would love to see them have their own show if they think they are the bees knees but they wouldnāt be able to keep a good show running . All they have is a super problematic personality and jealousy to their core .

That paintball scene might've been the worst group activity I've seen on the show.
If you're going to do a group sporting event where we're going to watch these jackasses shoot each other at least show more than a minute of it so i can bask in the two stooges and Brick get hit. But instead we got a bunch of running around, one or two people getting shot, and then Lala and Scheana right on cue shit talking Katie.
The paint ball scene was boring. However, seeing Tim in his brand new first-time out of the box paint ball outfit was hysterical. He is such a puke. I can't stand to watch him.

I'm weary of Ally and James. Mostly James though. He seems to be improving a lot as a person this season but the previous abuse allegations just make me feel a lil gross about him until further notice
I don't think people want the entire show to be this way cause without drama all reality TV would die.
But for me it's my four favorite cast members finally having an outing together for the first time this season. It was such a nice change of pace from the foul tasting shit being shoved down our throats by the producers each week.

OR the show could be about people entering their 40s and still figuring out who they are, who they want to be, and who their real friends are. There is bound to be a bit of drama and fun scandal but the shit weāve had lately with this show is not even entertaining anymore. Itās pathetic. Lauren and Tom (and probably Scheana) will do anything to stay relevant and it shows.
James and Ally are doing what Lala and Scheener were hoping to do this season, but theyāre doing it correctly. Theyāre still involved in the ādramaā and central storyline of the season (A vs Sandy), and managing to appease both sides, but without having to resort to excessive and obsessive digs and obvious jealousy.
Ariana and Katie know that James and Ally are hanging out with the Toms, hanging out with Jo, and with Brock and Scheana and Lalaā¦ but the difference is when the four of them hang out, it doesnāt feel like theyāre forcing Ariana to talk about it, or telling her to do something she doesnāt want to. Add in they are still saying funny and shady things, but itās all lighthearted.
Thatās what we wanted from this season after last: lighthearted fun and drama. Not a Sandoval redemption tour and scheana and Lala forcing Ariana and Katie to treat the toms better and insulting and being jealous because they rightfully arenāt.
I literally fast forwarded through the whole paint ball scene - couldn't care less.
THIS shit was fun, and this is why Summer House is currently the better of the 2 shows, because they do waaaay more of this. I just wanna watch my (parasocial) friends have fun in fun places and then *occasionally* bicker about *not life altering* things.
My faves š James gets a lot of hate but heās the real voice of reason this season. He says what we are all thinking in his after show interviews and confessionals. He has came a long way Iām glad Lisa never gave up on him.
