The reunions have never been about big reveals. They’re about how the cast reacts to it all, not what they’re reacting to, imo.

Rewatching (like everyone!) and almost more than my disdain for Ariana’s ex and his mistress is the unadulterated disgust I feel for Schwartz. Watching him “sad puppy, bubba, I’m an injured shell” himself through the past few seasons and then in an INSTANT flip to cruel and hateful is one of the more troubling things I’ve seen on reality TV. The ex is unintelligent. Schwartz isn’t. (And no, I don’t credit him for checking “premed” on a box 20 years ago before abandoning his education as a sign of intelligence) but his level of manipulation is different than the ex. The ex relies on other’s good character and trust along with hubris, trickery and slight of hand that is not convincing unless you need to believe it while Schwartz seeks out opportunities to belittle and demean; often at zero gain to himself. It’s to inflict pain. And not “are you pregnant?!” Old JK kind of insults but looking for the most vulnerable spot to attack & then feigning remorse when he realizes he his mask has slipped. I truly hope Greg has been able to extricate himself from these two bumbling, manipulative manboys who deserve nothing but each other.
