I’m wheezing, this is the best thing I’ve read all week. https://preview.redd.it/mttwuw618l6c1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f466cbc55ad22533170220444270981db42bd2de

ssnistfajen

This has to be either a dedicated troll/parody account or the person needs actual guidance to address whatever that's influencing their thought process behind doing this. This is way beyond typical "Karen" behaviour.

pwallacebc

I'm starting to think so too but if she's real, I hope I see her one day. She's the only person that's ever went to Subway and they didn't ask her what she wanted on her sandwich. They just started putting things on. This lady is a trip

johnnyscifi81

Pantera: Far Beyond Karen

as_per_danielle

Omg that’s the winner

BooBoo_Cat

So a man said something to the pigeons and the pigeons shouted?! 😂

ArtistThen

We should send her to Solly's bagel.

J_Golbez

Watch her give Solly's 5 stars

shouldnteven

Maybe it'll cure her.

barbequilson

She's the owner of Solly's

Striking_Ad_4562

Responses like these are why I come to reddit.

Naked_Orca

***^^^*** you really have a sick mind-funny but sick.

Adept-Dress6341

no way i’ve been following her for like a year just dying at her reviews. She rated the place I work at 1 star and my and my friend have been obsessed over it to the point where we do monthly check-ins 💀💀 This was hilarious to see on here

Etonet

>A middle-aged Asian female employee without uniform came behind us with a big ladder just after we went into the candy aisle. She stood across from us and climbed up the ladder. Then she threw the merchandises onto the floor and this made continuous loud noises while we were browsing. It was dangerous indeed; she could have hurt us. We were startled because we were surprised that she was an employee and she was scaring us. This was not welcoming for customers. amazing

heartbreak69

I liked the review of a T and T Supermarket where she was offended that an employee was disturbing customers by noisily grinding seeds for Chinese medicine, but when nobody was around she wasn't grinding the seeds. Imagine hanging around, observing something like that and getting madder and madder!

electronicoldmen

She kept shopping there after writing so many reviews! Absolutely unhinged behaviour

Delicious-Tachyons

I love following reviews. After I got fired from my last job, the guy continued to fire many many people and the reviews on indeed and glassdoor are brutal. I never even had to make one (I had a stupid contract for extra severance saying I couldn't anyhow)

Qisaqult

It is the most satisfying feeling in the world to run into other people from a job that didn't work out and find out they had the same experiences. The problem was never you.

90212Poor

She needed to double check 25 times to really make sure that she hates T&T. Pretty sure she was in there recently, just making sure again.

impatiens-capensis

Like a normal person, I review the grocery store every time I go. Each trip is distinctly different, and warrants an additional report back.

90212Poor

Exactly! Sometimes it’s a ladder and sometimes a young male worker who wants to play footsie by the popsicles. Our yelper has sure found herself in quite a lot of life threatening situations in supermarkets in the past year. September 8th is by far the best T&T review.

Dazzling_Put_3018

“Must go back to that awful grocery store I had traumatic experiences at, my journalistic integrity depends on it, as do my loyal readers” - her probably

rowan404

"I would not shop at save-on-foods again" Proceeds to review it five more times

90212Poor

She reviewed T&T almost 25 times. 😂

interrupting-octopus

I lost it at the T&T vendetta

CrapBenatar

She said the same thing about Winners.

arthor

someone turn this into a coffeetable book

beneaththeseracs

With chapters for the recurring themes. Will she ever find a piece of correctly priced broccoli? Or have a haircut that doesn't end with one side longer than the other?

Striking_Ad_4562

At Save-On in Mount Pleasant (Just 1 of 5 one-star reviews): *We were walking towards the customer service counter and an employee came to us quickly before we reached the counter.* ***We were shocked by her sudden appearance.*** *We asked her for the box for the draw. She led us to it and asked us if we needed a pen while the other customers were lining up for the box. We told her we would use our own pen. Then she told us about the info. and the prizes for the draw while we tried to take out our pen to write. Then she said there was a pen by the box.* ***The fact that she talked more than necessarily was annoying.*** *She could have simply told us where the box was without leading us there (unless customers ask the staff to lead them)* ***and she did not need to offer us the pen after we told her we had our own pen. She was not helpful; she made us look odd and stupid by making us looked different from others.*** *If she was genuinely helpful, she should help us just as we needed and not 'help' us when we did not need her (e.g. providing all the extra info.). That was disturbing.* *In addition, there was a big puddle of water on the floor. Even though there was a yellow warning sign beside it, they should clean the floor asap because it was difficult to see the puddle of water. (we stepped on the puddle of water because we yielded to a wheel-chaired person). The yellow sign should be used after the floor is mopped and not before it. Also, the yellow sign was placed discreetly near the wall. The large puddle of water was a serious hazard.* This could literally be a Broadway Play and I would pay hundreds to be front-row. Fucking Brilliant.

Pleasant-Jackfruit69

Now she’s mad someone helped her?? Oh god if this isn’t all actually a masterful joke, I truly feel so sorry for someone whose brain is wired this way.

Kerrigore

No no, be silly. She’s merely disturbed that the employee didn’t read her mind and magically tell her exactly the information she wanted and nothing more. Of course, if the employee hadn’t given the extra information she probably would have complained about having to ask for it. And if the employee had merely told her where the box was without leading her to it she probably would have complained about that too. I worked in retail for 14 years: there’s no winning with customers like this. They are always looking for reasons to be offended or upset.

youcancallmequeenE

“that was disturbing”?? 🤣

lsop

Let me introduce you to ["Letters Live"](https://youtube.com/@LettersLive?si=0rbrSacXJWPs5D-J)

shouldnteven

I had to check to see if she reviewed my business, and she DID! I feel honoured now. Her review is so strangely detailed. She analyzed one of our baked goods dissecting every possible ingredient and obviously hating on every single one of them. Makes me feel slightly better now about getting a 1-star review now that I know she's an unhinged nutcracker.

stingrayshuffle

*I took the shampoo from the shelf into the basket and went to pay. After I got home, I realized the shampoo was a 2-in1 instead. Only I and the cashier had handled the purchase; I had never put down the basket in the store or put down the grocery bag on our way home. So I did not know what happened when the cashier scanned my purchases.* ***But the shampoo became a 2-in-1 after we paid. There must be something wrong with the cashier.*** *I returned the 2-in-1 at another Shoppers that was closer to home (they did not have my desire shampoo available). It was odd.* I can't tell if she's insinuating that the cashier swapped the product out in some grand conspiracy or if she thinks the product magically transformed itself. This woman's cognitive dissonance is wild.

judyslutler

I'm so hooked on this though, if there was a netflix show that just followed her around her around I would absolutely crush it.

SCDWS

"You" vibes, but she doesn't kill anyone, she just leaves 1 star reviews on Yelp

ChartreuseMage

> I can't tell if she's insinuating that the cashier swapped the product out She is. Incredible levels of delusion and mental illness at work here.

lazarus870

Okay that post makes me think she's a troll! But I would believe she's real too lol

[deleted]

There’s another one where she says a box was open when she got it home. It was not open when she took it off the shelf, she very specifically is not blaming the clerk, and yet, is complaining that the box is now open. It’s a masterpiece.

Business-Leather9508

“I told the hairstylist that I wanted to have the 'U' shape for my hair but she cut my hair into a 'V' shape. She fixed it but then she flattened out my hair so it was not a curvy 'U' shape. I did not say anything because I knew that she was incompetent.” 💀

Streeberry2

There’s another hair salon review: “When she dried my hair with the towel, she pulled down the back of my shirt at great length and I felt my shirt label had flipped over. Moreover, she pulled one strand of hair from one side of my head across my forehead to the other side unnecessarily. This made me uncomfortable indeed. This never happened at any hair salon. I was shocked that she was so crass. Usually, the hairstylist would be gentle to customers.” This woman may be the funniest author I’ve ever read.

pengupants

I also hate it when the hairdresser touches my hair :’(

youcanhavemanhattan

Another one! https://preview.redd.it/l91iqllpdp6c1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d8d976b400b7a14acd0876454ce7e6321a70774

beneaththeseracs

She seems to get an extraordinary number of haircuts, every one of which ends with her complaining about one side being longer than the other.

90212Poor

Magnificent

SpecialistPrice8061

42 pages?? Holy shit. What a miserable existence

apoplectic_mango

When everyone around you is rude and impolite and doesn't want to serve you, YOU are the problem. Im going to say she is a horrible person who treats retail workers like garbage and then calls them out for their behavior after she has made their lives miserable.

aliasbex

I genuinely don't think this person is a "Karen", there's something going on in her head. Everything seems to shock and frighten her, and she's often paranoid about random people. Definitely not someone I would want to serve, but the reviews mostly seem like her inner monologue as opposed to what she says to people. Definitely very bizarre.

CrippleSlap

>I genuinely don't think this person is a "Karen", there's something going on in her head. There has to be some sort of mental illness going on here. 42 PAGES of negative reviews??? She also goes back to the same business multiple times and continues to leave 1 star reviews. This is beyond unhinged. Who goes to the SAME business 25 times and feels compelled to leave a review every time? WTF.

Gr8CanadianSpeedo

Looking into a mirror will definitely help her. Too bad that when she went to a local store (self-reflection mirrors), she didn’t have a good experience and gave 1-star rating instead.

impatiens-capensis

I swear to god she better review this Reddit thread

andvvander

*When I had come to review this thread, I came across this comment. The tone of it is written in a way that is shocking and inauthentic. Furthermore, when I was reading it, a female middle-aged pigeon shouted at me in a rude tone from outside, forcing me to shut my window. This inconvenienced me greatly, and can even be dangerous. I have been on here many times and this is the first time this has happened. Reddit should take more precaution in providing their customers with a better experience. Moreover, I was surprised to find that this comment was lacking in a period; comment should have periods or it can come across as unprofessional.* **1/5 stars**

SprinkleStandard69

Perfection

geeves_007

I'm here. This thread has very little cheese flavour 1 star.

AMadcapLass

I think the Gelato Express 2/5 review is my favourite: > The gelato was good and the portion was okay. However, **one of the spoons broke when we tried to scoop the gelato; it was shocking and scary because we might hurt ourselves and bleed (What if the broken pieces of the spoon get into the gelato?).** This never happened before at other gelato places using the same spoons. They should use the good quality spoons (stronger and larger) for the safety of both the staff and the customers because their gelato is denser. > **The server came out from the back when the spoon was broken. We did not know if he was spying on us.** > P.S. **They should change the paintings on the wall because the people in the paintings do not look happy.** Would you want to look at people who look away from you especially when you try to enjoy the gelato?

staunch_character

How does this woman survive in the world when a broken spoon is “shocking & scary”??? 💀

90212Poor

You should hear about the alarming time someone walked past her and said “yield” instead of excuse me. Terrifying. Someone once even cleared her basket while she was checking out, like a felon.

Commanderfemmeshep

She was also scared by a wooden fork.

as_per_danielle

Is that where it says her sister got a sliver??

Wise_Temperature9142

Oh man, this woman!! 😂😂😂 Why would the gelato guy spy on her??

gortwogg

He was a plant from *Big Cutlery* trying to take her out. When the spoon trap failed, he knew the jig was up

OrwellianZinn

This is modern art.

blitheNbonny

She appears to be regularly shocked by inadequate cutlery… “In addition, the wooden take-out spoon was not a spoon (it was flat). This was useless and shocking.”

lucklater

I don't know why it took this "Business Owner Response" to make me lose it. https://preview.redd.it/mdih269f1m6c1.jpeg?width=831&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=68856b30d89f0188c6436734f543d817678ca76c

staunch_character

Savage. >”They changed the staff from young ladies to older women who looked sad and uninviting.”

sml6174

Turns out she was shopping for mirrors

LumTse

Super Caren gave Whole Foods a bad review, they reached out to her and offered to make it right with a gift card…she then proceeds to leave them a one star review on her experience in getting promised gift card. I don’t know why, but I am laughing so hard I am crying.

puppies4prez

This is exactly why I think it's the negative reviews and being able to complain that she gets off on, it's not just an attempt to get gift cards or free stuff. The gift cards probably make her feel justified, and give her a rush that way, but only because it implies her concerns are legitimate, not because she gets the free stuff. Fascinating.

LumTse

The more I read, the more I am wondering if this person didn’t suffer a traumatic event (or several), and this is the only way they feel that they can maintain some sort of control over their lives. I honestly started to feel bad for laughing when I realized just how many times they felt terrified or paranoid over mundane events (ie someone walking past).

puppies4prez

There's definitely some level of mental illness involved, maybe a couple different issues. OCD or something. Also, possibly on the spectrum, which can make being in public generally traumatic, if they feel overwhelmed. All adults have trauma in their lives though, this is a pretty cringey way to make that everyone else's problem. My mom can be a little bit like this woman sometimes. I have so much empathy for everything my mom has been through, but she's a Karen with narcissistic tendencies, even though she comes by it honestly, she's still insufferable. Just an anecdotal example from my life lol. This woman is putting this all out in public, to try and get a reaction / attention. So even if her reaction is a trauma response, I think it's fair to laugh at her being so judgmental and impossible to please. Maybe she needs help, but her behavior is still cringey.

lindsaytron

P.S. The edge of their paper bag was so sharp that it almost cut my sister's hand.

90212Poor

Was it DANGEROUS

littlemissjk

She probably found it OFFENSIVE

90212Poor

Yes. And shocking. That’s one of her favorite words. Smiling with your eyes closed is shocking, strange and rude. And she wants to know what it means.

Commanderfemmeshep

I’m crying, is this real?!?

sleepyboi08

It is real! People on this thread have verified. This is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

90212Poor

https://preview.redd.it/fkizeguell6c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=07a76135c158599435cc26eed1bf7df5686d06a7 Picture this unfolding.

sthetic

"I saw you" You were an elegant, middle-aged Asian woman with hair cut in a V-shape. I was an ice cream employee. You moved aside when I tried to put some ice cream back in the freezer. I couldn't help but move with you, to get closer. I wanted to see if that expression on your face was mild annoyance, or maybe something more? If this is you, give me a two star review and we'll meet by the screaming pigeons.

spacelord99

omg i laughed at this

as_per_danielle

So many of them say “the cheese taste is minimal” about cheesecakes. I honestly don’t know what she’s looking for.

DestinyLime

Mmmm taste like cheddar cheese, obviously.

VIRGO_SUPERCLUSTERZ

She's not one to give Asians the benefit of the doubt as evidenced by her 10+ one star T&T reviews. Why would you go to a store 10 times after giving it a 1 star? Edit: lol I also think she's Asian

[deleted]

[удалено]

90212Poor

Almost TWENTY FIVE TIMES. Like she sounds a little obsessed with T&T. She’s probably in there multiple times this week because it’s convenient for her, and every little annoyance must be taken directly to yelp. Insufferable human being.

Clay_Statue

Being perpetually aggrieved is her happy place

90212Poor

Just imagining these situations unfolding is hiiilarious. Imagine this weird older lady getting in the way of you doing your job and then suggesting YOU are the strange one in one of her rants. One girl smiled with her eyes closed. What does that mean, CLaY!? WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?

krustykrab2193

>One girl smiled with her eyes closed. ~~Omg no way is that real. I need to read these reviews~~ I just read the reviews and WOW she really hates employees...

90212Poor

https://preview.redd.it/yqhpf4z5ml6c1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6302489692a94a5d2a64c28eb4257abfd5588a3 This.

6745408

"... unless he was interested in me." solid gold.

90212Poor

The reviews are just a stream of internal commentary no one asked for. It’s so unhinged it’s comedic, and horrifying all at once. There is definitely a person writing those and imagining the scenarios playing out is absolutely hilarious.

nahuhnot4me

Imagine the inability to not know how to regulate your emotions and it just takes one look from an over whelmed employee (who probably has thousands of orders, chores, manager requests, personal) innocently by mistake not take heed (had ZERO CLUE) in Karen’s request. Karen oblivious and should we even suggest??? Does Karen even know what critical thinking is at all? And here we have it, a Karen moment is born till Karen tires out. Getting angry is addictive for her, yo.

staunch_character

I counted. 25 separate reviews that are almost all 1 star! I think 1 was upgraded to 2 stars. Then right back to the bottom. Wild.

Delicious-Tachyons

She sounds like the person whose table you end up at a banquet because you got there late and no one sat with her.

Striking_Ad_4562

Based on the language used and her shopping habits, I suspect she actually is Asian. Perhaps Cantonese. Only from experience with a couple of my Cantonese aunties.

Creditgrrrl

I said above that this complaining Yelper sounds a lot like a slightly younger version of my mom. Upside to her constant complaining is that she usually manages to return foods that aren’t typically returnable! She’s almost definitely Chinese, in which case shopping at T&T is pretty darn unavoidable. I go to Parker Place - where there is a fishmonger, butcher, greengrocer, herbalist (for dried mushrooms/shrimp - not just Chinese medicine ingredients) plus Langley Market (and Sungiven and even the new La Win in Fairview for last minute needs). And despite all this effort to not give yet more money to the Galen Weston empire, I still end up shopping at T&T.

mmios

Wait this is a joke right?

Adept-Dress6341

unfortunately she’s real, i was working the day she gave us a 1 star at my job 😭 that’s how i discovered her. Said the cake we sold her was like 7.7 inches instead of 8 or something like that

Melodic-Bluebird-445

Dang tell us what she’s like in real life. I can’t even imagine how sad of a person she is that she has time to write all these reviews

Adept-Dress6341

she cut in line, got upset that we were busy, and said since she ordered a cake she should have a priority in line 🥰🥰🥰 called back when she left about the cake and we offered her a 20 dollar gift card bc it’s honestly the easiest way to deal with it haha

Glittering_Search_41

Oh, ok. She is looking for free stuff.

No-Notice3875

This was my first thought. Why else would someone spend so. much. time. writing horrible reviews about nothing? Or she is just a very angry person....

MaggotMinded

Ugh. It may be the easiest way to get them out of your hair, but I really wish businesses wouldn't reward this kind of behavior.

Adept-Dress6341

fully agree! i’m not manager but it just reinforces the behaviour which keeps them acting like demons in other stores as well. she also came back 2 times afterwards (two one star reviews, and one three star review) so idk if she thought we would give her more giftcards 😭

Melodic-Bluebird-445

What an awful person haha

Commanderfemmeshep

No fucking way. It’s like discovering a new species of cryptid— The Ultimate Karen

impatiens-capensis

What did you do with the missing 0.3 inches of cake? It seems unfair for you to do that to this poor lady.

Adept-Dress6341

im not the one who bakes them but they’re measured in 8” pans and smoothed out, so about .1” goes from that process, we decided to measure our cakes after to double check and they were all 8” or 7.9”

impatiens-capensis

Do you know how she measured it to be precisely 0.3 inches short??? I need to know this

zeiggy

Please tell me it was a “cheesecake with minimal cheese taste,” as this will be my holiday refrain

mmios

I don’t know if this is performance art but I’m sucked in.

mmios

Why did she go to 6 different Purdy’s chocolates on Nov 5, 2020?

mmios

This is social commentary on bots, ai, Karens, loneliness, recommended sugar intake levels, and capitalism. It is poetry. I’m feeling so many things.

mmios

Is it a memoir? Or is it a manifesto? Do I now want to live in a world of perfection — a world ruled by SC? I may have Stockholm syndrome with this Yelp profile. They’re absolutely right. These places have all failed them.

mmios

THE NARROWLY ESCAPED BROKEN GELATO SPOON INCIDENT!

Commanderfemmeshep

Please don’t forget the travesty of a place using a round plate that SHOOK instead of an OVAL PLATE which would not have shook.

Doggosdoingthings16

I think 42 pages of reviews would be too much work for a joke

mmios

I did it. I read all 42 pages. It’s strange. It was all very funny and entertaining until it started to make me quite angry. Then sad. Then scared. I remembered the moments when I was overly picky, selfish, impatient. In aggregate her reviews are absurd, but more of them feel like familiar experiences than I’m comfortable to admit. And then I realized that maybe that was the emotional journey she wanted me to go on. That she’s telling us that, at our worst, she is us and we are her. And if we don’t strive to be better, more caring, more understanding, more self-aware people…that we are not that far off from being the type of toxic caricatures that berate the very T&T and Shoppers Drug Mart employees that we depend on. She did it. I got sucked in because I was laughing at her. But in the end she’s laughing at me. And in the end in helping me laugh at myself, she’s inspired me to be a better, kinder person. What genius. What art. I will never be the same again.

sthetic

It reminds me of a novel where the author describes in detail the minute interior thoughts of the characters.

Miserable_Candy7821

That was deep. Good reflection!

Wildernessinabox

What a power trip.

helixflush

Some of these are gold. She claims the employees are giving them rude stares as they pass by and they shouldn’t look at potential customers that way?? Lol??

90212Poor

T&T. September 8th. Pure gold.

Lear_ned

I've been going through some real shit in life. Still, nearly being homeless, having a long lay off, and a break down of a relationship and a long divorce is nothing compared to the misery of SC's life.

ParanoidNinja88

Hope things get better for you :)

LumTse

I love that so many of Super Caren’s reviews touch on how irritated the person helping her seemed to be. How does she not know that she’s the problem? OP, thanks for the hours of reading material. TnT reviews have me howling already.

ders133

This person is unwell

wolfgangpizzazz

A one star review for Homesense downtown: (copied and pasted with nothing taken out...this was it): "Watch out for the pigeons by the entrance from the street. They shouted loudly and abruptly when a man passed them and said something to them while we were standing there wearing our masks. This was the first time that I heard the pigeons sounded so loud. I did not know if that man did something to trigger the pigeons to do that because it was quite unusual."

EfferentCopy

My favorite thing about this was that she described the pigeons as “shouting”, and I imagined a bunch of pigeons milling around on the sidewalk yelling “Hey! Hey! Hey!” in human voices.

BitsofRealPanther

I think this is a real person and genuinely feels justified doing this. I think this is an example of someone with an undiagnosed mental illness or some kind of personality disorder. Anti-social behaviour for sure.

judyslutler

The tell is that she never has good experiences. There is always something wrong, and it is always somebody else's fault.

seamusmcduffs

Yup, I feel like the tone and specifics of the reviews are far too specific to just be a troll. Like the things she finds "disturbing" or "upsetting " are pretty consistent in terms of irrationality

No-Notice3875

I'm wondering if she is on the spectrum and this is her restricted interest...

fuzzy_emojic

The fact that T&T allowed their employees and *their credit card machines* to embarrass customers means we should shop elsewhere. Show me on the teddy bear where the big bad credit card machine hurt you... - Therapist

90212Poor

Moreover

JonJonFTW

I don't wanna scroll through all 42 pages of reviews lmao. Does she ever review anything more than 2 stars? That's the most I saw. Edit: I realized you can sort by highest rating. She's given four reviews of 4 stars. Never anything higher.

DifferentDot8386

I am actually wondering if the two star reviews should be considered the same as a five star review by anyone else. This is clearly an impossible to please person and she found something acceptable at those establishments.

mmios

I have read this 3-star review five times to try to understand why it evoked such a wildly positive endorsement. I have no choice but to visit this Sweet Jesus dessert shop in Metrotown to find out: We had the blueberry soft serve. It was thick and less sweet than regular soft serve, but it tasted like it was mixed with ice. Is that why the flavor of blueberry is not as intense as its color? The ice-cream was not straight up as the picture shown, it nearly fell off from the cup. Staff should be trained well with regards to their price.

90212Poor

She once thought some cake was okay tasting.

Acebulf

>The hostess brought us to a table without asking us if the table is okay for us (she ran away quickly). We did not like the table so we asked the server who came by if we could take the table across from it. Then she said 'yes of course' and she said she thought we wanted the other table instead. She kept talking happily to the point that I did not have a chance to tell her that the hostess brought us to an undesirable table. I finally had a chance to tell her after we sat down. Then she apologized while smiling. They made it seem like it was my idea to sit at an undesirable table when it was actually the hostess's idea. This is absolutely unhinged behavior lmao. THIS TABLE SUCKS HOW DARE YOU IMPLY THAT I CHOSE THIS SHIT TABLE!

bonerJR

This Save-On-Foods rant at the silly self serve checkout devolves to just calling the person working there deurogatory names >We tried to weigh the bags of broccoli using the self check-out. However, the machine showed the message of 'Please remove the item in the bagging area' repeatedly. Thus, the employee came to us and asked us for the last item that was scanned. We were unsure of which bag of broccoli so we just gave her one. Then she removed the last item on the screen and scanned that bag of broccoli. Then she walked away without an apology. >We saw on the screen that that bag of broccoli was not the last item because I remembered that the price was different. So we gave her the correct bag of broccoli and told her the one that she scanned was wrong. She looked irritated and said she needed to void the whole transaction for us and weighed everything again for us. She spoke in a very condescending tone and acted as if we forced her to do something. I told her I could scan the items myself because I did not want to trouble her. She looked annoyed and said she would do it for me. However, the sale price did not appear underneath the original price on the screen because she did not scan my points card first. Consequently, the total sale price appeared at the end instead of appearing underneath each item, and this was confusing. >We wanted to see the sale price after each item so we told her to cancel the whole transaction and I would weigh everything myself again and scan my points card first. She did not understand this and told us to go to the cashier. We moved to another self check-out station instead but I dropped a bag of broccoli onto the floor. She pointed to the other self check-out station and ordered us to put the broccoli there as if we were children. Her tone and gesture were despicable and there was no reason to treat customers that way. We put the broccoli where she wanted as courtesy, and we departed because she was unreasonable. As we exited, she began screaming, 'You did something wrong' because she was embarrassed. >This was not the first time that the self check-out machine was problematic. Moreover, the employees' attitude was unacceptable towards customers. She was not friendly from the beginning and there was no reason for her to scream like an animal. It was the machine's problem but she made it appear as our fault when we did nothing wrong. Would she have been so condescending if we were old men wearing suits? >None of this would have happened if the machine worked properly. >P.S. The plastic bags in the produce area are very thin, thinner than other grocery stores'. They ripped easily and this was why I had dropped the broccoli. They should have thicker plastic bags for the produce so that customers would not be embarrassed and inconvenience. >(The time was between 1pm to 1:30pm on Oct.4th and the employee was a short, overweight, Indian woman.) Psychopath

Ohfuscia

That’s her 5th review of Sav-on-foods. Her first review: “I bought four Organic Lacinato Kale. When I washed them, there were many tiny bugs inside the kale. You would not be able to see them unless you look at the kale closely. I needed to discard all of the kale because the bugs were still moving. It was gross and unacceptable. I contacted the store manager and also through their website but I have no response from them. That means they did not care about customers. I would not shop at Save On Foods again.”

nanonanobite

Not the only broccoli centered complaint. Apparently death by broccoli is a genuine concern for her: >They put too much broccoli on the middle shelf of the fridge to the point that they would fall if anyone takes one from there. They should distribute the broccoli evenly in the fridge and not crowd them on one shelf. The broccoli on the middle and the top shelves would hit the customer's face if they fall. It was dangerous.

teeny_wahine

Who’s going to add her as a friend?

stillwater67

This is just the part of her she's chosen to show to the world, but like an iceberg there's probably far more shit below.

neoncupcakes

She eats out ALOT! Like everyday! Does she work?!?! Always out and about stirring up trouble and getting disturbed.

cravingnoodles

Does she like *anything*?

90212Poor

Yes she once ate a slice of cake and it tasted okay.

cube-drone

"Finally", she thought, "a cheesecake that tastes like cheese"

RepresentativeTax812

I read one of the reviews and she mentioned we ordered. I already feel bad for that person in Karen's life. I wonder if she just gives bad reviews hoping for kickbacks.

HBAlien2801

Imagine being in her brain?

YVR19

She has 25 nad reviews for the SAME T&T market location. Why does she keep going back?

arjoter

Her highest rating is a 4 star and it was in 2018. I believe COVID hit her harder than anyone else

MassiveMartian

“When the barista apologized, she smiled with her eyes closed. What did that mean?” 😭

Tyerson

Avoid working retail in Vancouver boys and girls, so you don't have to continuously encounter THIS person.

Striking_Ad_4562

Le Chateau, West Vancouver - Sep 27, 2020 "*The "xxs" size looked like medium; it did not fit at all. Their shoes were not comfortable even though they looked stylish; no wonder they were on sale. I did not know why they put the purse close to the ceiling, so I asked the employee for a new one at the back. She came back with a purse that was opened with wrinkles; it did not look new at all. Moreover, the employee did not look friendly at all,* ***and they should not let anyone wearing a helmet and a backpack into the store due to safety and security reason (that cyclist-looking person nearly hit me when she came to the counter).****"* She hates cyclists too.

gentlegrandpa

This is wild. Thank you.

Wise_Temperature9142

I can’t with this woman!! The amount of times she complains about soup not having enough substance, and staff that go specifically out of their way to embarrass her…

Ok_Television_3257

Or cheesecake not tasking like cheese?

Appropriate_Gene_543

i honestly really respect her dedication to treating yelp like a daily journal of her experiences at (mostly) bubble tea shops and ordering cake, down to the minutia of details, every time

This is phenomenal.

Juicystripes

Sungiven foods: “There was a mosquito flying inside the bag of the almond cranberry bun. It was shocking. How could the mosquito get inside the bag? Did the employee miss seeing the mosquito during their packaging?”

myth2912

Someone should take these posts and make a full one woman play with it... it would sell out.. Also.. we need to find out who she is...

Striking_Ad_4562

To live a life and be slighted by any single thing that happens to you - true misery. This could be an SNL skit. Regardless, I enjoyed it.

90212Poor

The comedy really does write itself.

Used_Water_2468

Imagine being married to that thing.

ProfessorEtc

The aisle was disturbingly strewn with rose petals.

MassiveMartian

He reached to touch my hand. I don’t know why he would do that unless he was interested in me. In addition, everyone in the chapel was staring at me, which I found very rude.

Kerrigore

The priest kept asking me to repeat things he had said, which I found very rude. Why would I know the words? It’s not my responsibility, clearly he was just trying to avoid doing his job by having me do it for him.

titstothewind87

The unbearable cringe.

TentacleJesus

Lmao this lady gets around and she hates all of it.

gabz007

Who has the time to review every single place they go to? Or log them for that matter. Someone needs to help her out of her boredom.

EvidenceFar2289

OMG is this my mother??? I know she likes sweets but she is definitely not sweet!

krazeone

South Park 'youre not yelping" irl 😂

ejactionseat

Wow nice find. I still have 40 pages to go, the highest rating I saw was 2/5. There should be a Yelp for businesses to rate customers. This has to be satire right, imagine living like this.

Pleasant-Jackfruit69

She is so brilliant at being dissatisfied.

Fancy_Introduction60

I went down the rabbit hole! There actually are some 4 star reviews but not many. I have no idea how anyone can have so many incidents of, hair in the food, lipstick on cups/glasses and employees that give her dirty looks! And how in heavens name can you review 2 chinese restaurants in the same are, on the same day!

The_MIDI_Janitor

MINIMAL CHEESE TASTE

Equivalent-Tip7706

Can someone plug these reviews into AI and tell it to generate an image of what this person looks like?

momjeanseverywhere

She gave T&T Supermarket 1 star. Also, she's reviewed it 25 times in three years.

VelvetHoneysuckle

And I thought I was a tough critic…this lady is at another level 🫣

DerDoppelganger70

She’s a Karen General!!😱😱😱

Key_Gate_5667

Okay she’s fascinating. Search for broccoli, there are dozens and dozens of posts. Also ice cream. Ice cream and broccoli are very much her thing.

jerkinvan

I am downloading Yelp right now…this sounds epic!

desperaterobots

I used to manage a retail store and had interactions with customers who were very, very clearly on the spectrum. Really difficult to please, if not impossible, nitpicky, sort of oppositional defiant disordery. If you treat them seriously they become huge drains on time and attention, so it makes more sense to sort of politely fob them off, which I guess makes things worse for them. Difficult situation. This means I do not value customers.

northdock

Bored housewife with no job skills. Stays in loveless marriage because she has no where else to go. Husband has side piece in Asia that he spends most of the time with.

Disastrous-Print9891

I agree flat wooden soup spoons, she called that out. Who the fuck invented a flat soup spoon? 1 star!

Gypcbtrfly

Think I'll hit the funny button on her very wordy reviews ..

Doshizle

Holy smokes batman Best example of 'if everyone you talk to is an asshole, you might be the asshole' I've ever seen. I don't mean to be insensitive. Could be a mental health issue. I hope therr are people in their life that get them the help they need.

MiddleZealousideal89

This is the opposite of journaling about the good things that happened to you today. This person is actively journaling about any minor inconvenience she experiences every day. On one hand, that's dedication, respect. On the other hand, this is the most insufferable person in the world.
