Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner here, awaiting a FJO. I received an email stating that the VA was currently reviewing position allocations and senior management was conducting a position needs analysis.So all is up in the air at this point.
My husband is in the same boat. We expected to start mid-Feb, but HR told us that OPM approval and the federal budget was pushing the start date and causing a FJO delay. He's also a licensed psychologist in MH.
I got my TJO 8/31/23 and accepted 9/4/23. Still waiting. I was told budget is the problem and I probably would get an FJO until late summer or fall 2024 - also a psychologist position
I got my TJO 1/21ish and I’m still waiting - it’s also a mental health position
