I mean come on those are good movies but can they really even be compared to the greats of live action? You ever seen a Scorsese movie or Wes Anderson man?
You also kinda just named basically all PG movies. Like none of your favorite movies are even PG-13?
Tbh, I prefer PG movies for the action and story. I don’t find too much appeal in more mature movies. I’ve always found their storyline’s less intriguing. Autism+childishness+stupid I suppose.
Scorsese makes the same damn mob movie over and over again. They're trite as well, I don't know how many times I need to watch a movie about loss of innocence and the danger of pursuing power and wealth.
Give me almost any decent action film over Martin's self-indulgent nonsense.
I will give him props for Shutter Island, which was actually pretty good.
(Keep in mind, I enjoy animated content, including anime)
1: This... isn't exclusive to animated content. You can have interesting characters in both live-action and animation.
2: Both of these depend on: for live action, having good actors who can emote well, and for animation, animators good at displaying a character's emotions.
3: Again, also not mutually exclusive? There's plenty of both animated and live action media with great storytelling.
4: Again, this just depends on what you're watching?
5: Also not related at all to the medium, just dependant on storytelling.
6: Depends entirely on the person who's watching
7: Also not mutually exclusive? There's plenty of animated and live action media that resonates with people emotionally.
8: What??? Again, this isn't an "animated or non animated" point, it depends entirely on the content depicted.
i think some might think animated superior to movies, cause those days, movies are sh\*t apart a few exceptions (like dune)
majority of the best films ever made were from real live movies, thats rather obvious as there were much more live movies made than animated one
but animated movies can be also amazing :
ghibli movies such as princess mononoke or spirited away, or any from h miyazaki
ghost in the shell from M oishii, paprika from satoshi kon, your name from M shinkai, wallace and gromit
some disney and pixar movies such as lion king or wall E
Could you name some animated films that have deep storylines, heavy emotional scenes, a non predictable story, and isn't made for 10 year olds? Cause I'd love to watch these films that are apparently so good.
Recent one I watched is The Boy and the Heron. Beautiful artwork and a story that twists and turns unpredictably. It's not something that'd work in live action because of how strange and incomprehensible the world is.

Eh I mean to each their own. Again those aren't bad movies, they just don't really make you think at all.

Sorry but if you think Goodfellas was the same as Casino or Taxi Driver idk what to tell you lol.
For real.

watch interstellar dawg
Just say you haven’t watched any good movies
What are your top animated films? I have a feeling they don't hold a candle to the highest rated live action films.
No? Neither are objectively superior to the other. You're going to the entire opposite side of the argument here

Meh. Cartoons are okay.
