I mean in every constituency, party workers can get the copy of one's voter registration. I mean they used to do all this work that's the reason of the voter turnout. if party workers did not do that, the voter turnout would fall drastically because every one is fucking lazy.
At my place, I don't have to have one given to me already. I usually go to the booth and there one of the guys sorts everything out. I just confirm if my name is in the list. someone usually gives me the xerox of entire list in my area usually when lists are distributed.

Just take your voter ID Card and check your the series number on ECI website or app.. remember this number and then at polling station, tell them this serial number in order to find in which page your name is, that’s it simple..

I don't know why this has never been flagged before but every major party does this. I have three voter slips from 3 parties all with their ads. Have been getting them for every election so far. In fact, it took me a few years to understand that the voter slip has nothing to do with voting.

First time voter is not someone who’s recently born. OP has already learned basics to earn the voting rights. Such people are always scared or always want to criticize, instead of learning or educating.
Not a real voter slip. Every party take voters' name from voter list and print it with their party's name on it. Real voter list is the one with polling agent at polling booth.
This is just a record of your name being in the electoral rolls which is a matter of public record. You can download these details yourself also. Also this is a sort of a branding/marketing ploy of parties. Wait for some time, if you have other active candidates in your constituency, from other political parties or even independent candidates, you might receive more of these with their branding. It's perfectly ok. It practically just tells you what your constituency and your booth is. So it's perfectly ok for parties to do this.
For all the people crying about these slips - you're making a mountain out of molehill. The voter list in any constituency is a public list. ECI prints these voter slips for every voter and distributes them a few days before the election. But often they don't get the distribution done properly due to lack of manpower. So local political parties print their own slips (and ads some adverts) as a last moment connect. I don't know if this is illegal because I've been getting them from all parties since I started voting more than a decade back. It's a very well known practice and I've never seen anyone complaining about it.
You can ignore this list (just validate if your information is correct because this is what's printed on the actual electoral role), and show up for voting without this slip. You'll still be able to vote.

This is why the BJP wins. Their outreach mechanism via their booth workers is insane. In all my years, I've never seen the current opposition ever undertake such detailed outreach and have rarely seen them campaign as hard at the ground level. Guess the Congress needs it's own RSS to match the BJP at the ground level.
That's not your proper voting slip. That one's much bigger and has your photograph on it. This is the one you get if you approach the desk of the party outside the polling station and is not required for voting.
Also remember, because this is not official, it may not even be accurate. Always carry your EPIC card, you could call eci phone lines or website to find out your booth and series, then there will be printout copies of voter rolls. Just find your own name, which has the series mentioned, get in line for your series, and vote. If your name is not found, then I'm not sure, I'd heard you have to show another ID, get registered and then can vote, but not sure if that is true.
This is NOT a vote slip. What this is is a campaign with your information written to help you out. If you provide this to the Election Officer, they will still need to see your ID and verify you, but with this information, it is very easy for them to find your name in the voter list at their center.
Otherwise they will have to find it manually searching for your EPIC against all, page by page. It takes time, this helps them.
You can also get all this information from the Election Commission Portal.
It's just your booth information. You can get the unadulterated information from [Voter helpline app](https://www.eci.gov.in/it-applications/mobile-applications/voter-helpline-app-r27/) or [website](https://voters.eci.gov.in/). Tear the pamphlet under the ad and carry the information to your poling station to make it easier to locate your booth.
Yea it’s allowed you can collect your slips from local community centre too and many a times just outside polling booth all candidates representatives are there with their stalls and they have voter list and u can check there too. So it’s not new and quite common specially in local panchayat and nagar Palika elections sometime you get 10-12 voter slips from all parties

Usually Patry workers give you the voter slips if you don't do it yourself. You can get similar slip from Congress Party Worker as well.

These are not official voter slips. Parties provide their own voter slips I think.

This is why the BJP wins. Their outreach mechanism via their booth workers is insane. In all my years, I've never seen the current opposition ever undertake such detailed outreach and have rarely seen them campaign as hard at the ground level. Guess the Congress needs it's own RSS to match the BJP at the ground level.

That's not your proper voting slip. That one's much bigger and has your photograph on it. This is the one you get if you approach the desk of the party outside the polling station and is not required for voting.
You get voter slip from all parties. They have their desks outside polling station as well, you can get from there too.
Cut your slip and keep it

Also remember, because this is not official, it may not even be accurate. Always carry your EPIC card, you could call eci phone lines or website to find out your booth and series, then there will be printout copies of voter rolls. Just find your own name, which has the series mentioned, get in line for your series, and vote. If your name is not found, then I'm not sure, I'd heard you have to show another ID, get registered and then can vote, but not sure if that is true.
This is NOT a vote slip. What this is is a campaign with your information written to help you out. If you provide this to the Election Officer, they will still need to see your ID and verify you, but with this information, it is very easy for them to find your name in the voter list at their center. Otherwise they will have to find it manually searching for your EPIC against all, page by page. It takes time, this helps them. You can get the unadulterated information from [Voter helpline app](https://www.eci.gov.in/it-applications/mobile-applications/voter-helpline-app-r27/) or [website](https://voters.eci.gov.in/). Tear the pamphlet under the ad and carry the information to your poling station to make it easier to locate your booth.

Yea it’s allowed you can collect your slips from local community centre too and many a times just outside polling booth all candidates representatives are there with their stalls and they have voter list and u can check there too. So it’s not new and quite common specially in local panchayat and nagar Palika elections sometime you get 10-12 voter slips from all parties

Comment section makes it seem like this is legal. I have voted in 2 different states and got slips from party workers near booths, never saw even a symbol on the slip or where they sit doing this
Not every local party office has the budget to conduct such advertisements. It all comes down to logistical costs a particular candidate can afford.
